The provider was OK to work with overall. Warren was timely and punctual in coming out to give an estimate and was pleasant. It was a bad time for fencing to be replaced - everyone was busy, and it was hard to get anyone to call back. So that part was good. His crew actually started the job sooner than expected. I wasn't clear on when he would be finished or how long it would take. He called when it was done and asked to be paid. I told him that my husband and I would like to do a walk through with him and asked him to fix a few things which he did. The fence that was replaced connects to our neighbors portion. When the job was done, our fence didn't reach or really even tie into our neighbors side. It just pretty much ended. You could see through a gap to our neighbors yard. He added a picket to cover that. It wasn't perfect, but good enough. The gate drags the ground and does not open easily. We had him replace a picket on the gate that we thought was too skinny. (You could see into our yard from the outside of the fence through the gap.) One of the guys on his crew put concrete from the old posts in our garbage can which I didn't care for and let Warren know. I have since needed fencing work done and used another provider on Angie's List whom I had good luck with. This wasn't a terrible experience, but with so many other fencing cos. out there, I tried someone else. Warren does offer a five year warranty which seems better than the average. So overall some pluses and some minuses.

I had Cedar Forest build a custom 350' wood fence at my home, and a 16' steel, double sided driveway gate. Top quality work, Good guys, and fair pricing. Two thumbs up. ???

excellent work. Warren Christy was here when he said he would be. His crew did a great job. The stain they used is the best quality and the fence, which is very large, was stained on both sides. The stain is even and a really nice color, but tasteful. The crew cleaned up before they left and were professional and pleasant. I highly recommend this terrific company!

He wasn't able to come when I was there. He came when I was out of town. My husband was there but was recuperating from chemotherapy, and he wasn't really able to "babysit" like I do. I did not see the fence until several weeks later at which time: #1: I noticed immediately that the entire fence was DIFFERENT than the one on the other side. #2: I noticed cracks going across several fence boards that went all the way through from front to back and nearly the whole way across the boards. #3: I noticed that unlike the fence we had gotten on the other side of our house, this fence didn't have spaces between the boards. Some of the boards were bowed and so tight together, they were popping splinters out and rounded puffy places. #4: I noticed that in the corner of the back yard where the two fences come together that there was a very large space for about five feet between the bottom of the fence and the dirt. I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES! I paid my lawn man to stack bricks -- 2 bricks high -- along the entire length so my dog couldn't go under the fence. On the other side of my yard where the other "new" fence was, the fence was touching the ground -- as it should have been. I immediately called the guy. I think his name is Warren. I SPECIFICALLY told him I DID NOT WANT HIM TO COME IN THE MORNING. I had things to do and places to go. I asked him to meet me at 1:30 that afternoon. When he showed up at 1:30, he told me he had ALREADY BEEN THERE that morning. I was upset about that because I had specifically told him NOT to come until 1:30. He doesn't have any right to be on my property without my permission! When he arrived at 1:30, he looked at all my concerns mentioned above. He AGREED the wood was AWFUL. He said, "You can't get decent wood anymore. It all comes from Canada now." He said he would send his guys out the following week to fix the boads and move the boards down onto the ground where they belonged. I asked him WHY he didn't match the other fence. He said, "You can't get that wood anymore!" I TOLD HIM VERY CLEARLY THAT I WANTED ADVANCE NOTICE BEFORE HIS GUYS SHOWED UP the following week. He had not let me know the first time he came. He had showed up that morning even though I told him not to. I told him I wanted him to BE SURE and call me before they came. He said he would. One day the following week I received a call from my next door neighbor. She asked me if something was wrong with the new fence because there were men there doing something to it. (It was her fence too.) I told her I had no idea they were there. I could not believe this guy just acted like he OWNED my property and could come whenever he felt like it. And I had very plainly told him several times I wanted notice! Them being there without me was a great concern because the first time his guys came to my house (when I was out of town), I had complaints from THREE different neighbors that some guy who was working on my fence was sitting on the curb and watching the other houses. THREE of them had mail and packages taken that day. I have no idea if the fence guy actually did that. Obviously, I wasn't even there. The point is, I had very good reason for wanting to know when these people were at my house. AND, none of the neighbors had been missing mail since that day as far as I knew. My husband and I are still very unhappy with the fence. We won't bother calling this guy again, however, as we just do not trust him. I would NEVER use this company again. I'm not sure it even is a "company" because when I mailed my check to the address he gave me, it came back to me. I had to call him about that. I had not made a mistake in the address on the envelope.

We had hired a "friend" to replace a section of the fence around our backyard with disastrous results. After calling a halt to that process I went to Angie's List to get professional estimates. Time was of the essence because the old fence was down leaving my yard open to the neighbor's pets, eliminating our privacy and us out of HOA compliance! I got several estimates and actually went to look at some recent fence work by one company(I was not impressed). I called Warren Christy on his cell and he responded within an hour. He happened to be in the area so came by and gave an estimate. He was extremely thorough and very willing to answer all my questions. We discussed quality of his fencing materials, nail vs screw construction, customizing the gate and little touches like covering the exposed steel poles in viewline from my neighbor's house/patio. He also said he would smooth out the mess that had been left behind from my "friend" fiasco. His estimate was not the lowest, but was truly competitive considering the promised quality and extras. Warren couldn't start the job as soon as we wanted,(NOW?!) but we decided it was worth the wait. He and his crew did arrive exactly as promised and the job was completed as scheduled. Warren customized the fence himself and the end result is beautiful. I would be happy for him to include it in his photo gallery! Warren was a pleasure to work with, the fence is attractive and well constructed. and the custom gate is stunning. My neighbors also stopped over to say how nice it looks from their side(they were very kind through the entire process!) I will not hesitate to contact Warren again with future fencing needs. I was very pleased with the service and final product.

I did my research before calling Cedar Forest Fence to give me an estimate, I even signed up for Angies List. The price was fair, the time to install was quick and the end results are spectacular.

The work was beautifully done and has a 5-year warranty. The people installing the fence are professional and hard-working and obviously know what they are doing. The owner, Warren Christy, is a pleasure to work with. We had a bit of a problem with a neighbor, which worked out just fine, and Warren was an excellent problem-solver The fence looks great and! I highly recommend Cedar Forest Fence! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a fence!

During the last week of April, Warren came out for our agreed upon appointment time to provide an estimate. Having considered this project for some time and having spoken with other fence companies the year before, I could tell that Cedar Forest Fence was capable and professional. We set up an approximate time window to do the job, late May, and that's when the work began. The job took about two days: one-half day to set posts, one-half day to place the treated lumber and put-up the fence panels, and one day to build the entrance gates. The fence was placed evenly the whole length even with the challenge of part of it being on a slope. The entrance gate was built by two of the crew who measured out each turn and angle. Whenever we commented about some aspect, they were more than willing to accommodate our wishes. It was especially important that all spouses were pleased: they were more than pleased. All of us spent many hours outside admiring their work both during and after the project was completed. Good craftsmanship by the crew. Every aspect of the job was done well. And the bill was what we agreed upon in the initial proposal. This is a professional organization, Warren and every member of his crew. My neighbor (the one we share the fence and entrance gate with) liked the work so much that she already has hired Cedar Forest to do the fence on the other side of her house. I also will use them when we add additional fences.

It went like clockwork, Warren was there to get it started but his fence team handled it all and were very helpful. I had a shared fence side with one neighbor who was unable to move all they had against the old fence on their side, and the team helped move all that needed to be done in order to get the job done. In a few years I will probably have to do the third side, I will be calling them for that and any problems in between. The fence is beautiful, the metal poles look very sturdy and the gates have a metal bar across the back to give it more strength. I had another bid from Lowe's and they beat it hands down.

The quote was provided within two days. They started the work, as quoted, two weeks later. It took one day to replace the posts and finished putting up the panels the next day. The owner was very professional and polite. The only negative... the crew didn't take the old fence once they finished the job. It took several calls before the old fence was hauled off. I will use Cedar Forest in the future; however, I'll make sure to not give payment until all work is finished.

I called several fence companies to get a quote and only got 2 companies to respond. Cedar Forest was able to come out almost a week before the other company that agreed to give a quote. That process went well and the guy that came out was very professional. I was told the work would begin in 7-10 days and that if I hadn't heard back within the week to call and check. The second company came a few days later and quoted a lower price but wouldn't be able to come do the work for at least 2 weeks and they actually said they would not make a special trip for the job, they would just do the work if they happened to have another job in the area. At this point, Cedar Forest was looking like the clear winner. Fast forward 7 days. Still heard nothing from the company. Called to see when the work might be done and was told it would be at least another week before the work could be completed. This would normally be fine as I do understand that things happen sometimes and sometimes work gets behind. The problem was the lack of communication. I was told on this phone call that I would receive a call 2-3 days before work began. 2 days later, without warning, somebody came out to mark utility lines. If he had shown up 15 minutes later, nobody would have been home and he would not have been able to access the back yard where the work was to be done. 2 days after that (with still no warning) I came home from school to find the small part of the fence that hadn't collapsed (which I wanted replaced) laying in my neighbor's front yard and 2 men from Cedar Forest in the yard putting in the posts for the fence. Since I had no idea they were coming, I had to scramble to find somebody to stay at my home so there would be somebody home to pay when work was completed. It was a giant mess and the communication left a lot to be desired. The work is done and appears to have been done well but I would have appreciated more notice and if they couldn't haul off the discarded fence section, they at least should not have left it in my neighbor's front yard.

The provider was very punctual. There were no unexpected issues that prevented them from completing the work in a timely manner. The member was very satisfied with the results of their work.

My overall experience with them was okay. He does cedar fences and all kinds of fences. He was very professional. He did not do the work as soon as he had promised to do it for me. He had a hard getting back to me. He has a very busy time, so he did not always get back to me when he was able to and he was not always able to make his scheduled appointments with me. He did a good work. My dogs like the fence.

I am actually still using them, he built a fabulous gate for me but my dog she threw the wires on that fence and he is going to come back in and rewire it. He is going to put a support post on it because it is such a heavy gate and it is kind of slipping a little bit. He did a great work. He is only handicapped with the weather, we had this horrible weather, and he could not work and so we had to struggle on the timeline and that was not really his fault. He was really good to stay in communication with me. He is very professional. He is just very meticulous about his work, which is great and I loved it. I have no complaints about him. He had to order that cable for the dog and he is going to have to come back. He text me this weekend and said that he should be able to get that part ordered and he will be in next week. He really has the best price. His quality is very very good.

I contacted several companies and only this one answered in person, gave me a bid, a time frame and did a follow-up. Customer service was beyond excellent! The work was done as promised and to the extent that I wanted. I could not be happier, and will and have recommended this company to install fencing!

They were not only on time, but cognizant of our sprinkler system and worked with us regarding time - when the irrigation company had to come out to move the sprinkler heads that were improperly placed at the time of home build. We cannot speak highly enough of the work that Warren's group does and the price and quality that they offer. The work, by they way, speaks for itself, as two of our close neighbors got their fences re-done after seeing our fence. We will definitely use CFFC for the rest of our property fencing needs!

Put in new Fence that was just what I wanted. They went over it and said which parts they were gonna redo after it was done and then asked me to mark which parts looked off and then they replaced them. They did a great job and were not leaving until I was happy . Very nice guys that want and do quality work. I will definitely use them again.

Although this was a small job for them, they performed it excellently and with high quality. The owner performed the estimate and the job was completed when promised. The fence was repaired properly, quickly and the work was excellent. The price was fair. I would most certainly use them again.

Warren the owner of Cedar Forest came out and gave a competitive bid to replace a portion of my fence. His bid wasn't the cheapest one I received, but i decided to go with him based on quality of his other jobs in the neighborhood. His crew did a great job and I couldn't be happier with the result.

Outstanding from start to finish. Installed custom, stick built cedar fencing and custom wrought iron fencing. Arrived when he said he would and actually crafted everything on site. Quality from beginning to end on a fairly complex design. Would definately recommend if you want a designed and hand built fence. I would not have been happy with a big box panel fence and wanted something stronger and better quality.Cost a bit more than big box prices but was well worth the investment.

I am very pleased with the work done. There were some delays due to weather, which is to be expected this time of year. During this time they did communicate with me regarding the delays. There were no surprise charges. I do recommend them.

Absolutely outstanding service! After dealing with several of the larger fence companies in the Edmond / OKC area who were either totally unresponsive or came to see-and-bid, only to never be heard from again. They completely wasted my time. Fortunately.we found this company. Added 2 handmade wrought iron gates. Gave Warren the lattitude to "surprise me" and he did not fail. Handcraft and masterfully done. If you want quick and easy, use Lowes. If you want quality and craftsmanship, call Warren at Cedar Forest.
