 + 8 moreGreg Andrews was extremely punctual. He was here every morning by 8 am and worked every day but one till 5 pm or later. He was exceptionally tidy, stopping to sweep or vacuum several times a day when necessary. He used drop cloths throughout every area where he was working. He was very pleasant, didn't mind me watching him while he worked at times. There were a couple of things we asked him to do that weren't part of the original deal, and he was very accommodating. He seems to be quite skilled in the areas of carpentry, plumbing and electrical, and tile setting. The whole job took him two weeks. Greg's wife, Debbie, was very instrumental in ordering all the tile, scheduling the pick-up of our used appliances, and helping with design/color decisions. I texted her many, many times in the weeks leading up to the start of de-construction. She was very patient with my many questions.
Description of Work: Kitchen: Tore out existing countertops, backsplash, sink, ovens, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave & vent hood. Convert cabinet for microwave, build 2 drawers, paint & install 2 new drawer fronts. Modify cabinet for slide in range, install new vent hood. Install new sheetrock on walls for backsplash, install new tile on backsplash and grout. Install new faucet. Install slide-in range & connect gas. Install dishwasher and microwave. Install under cabinet lighting with dimmer switches. Bathroom: Tear out existing floor, shower, remove toilet, relocate drain for tub/shower and install new tub/shower valve, install new bathtub and drain, install hardibacker on walls around tub surround, repair sheetrock, paint bathroom. Install new floor tile, tub, tub surround, new faucet. Grout all tile, reinstall toilet, & new baseboard trim.
