Dan is the most thorough person I have ever hired. The first time we hired him, I assumed he spent a lot of time making sure everything was perfect because it was his first visit and (maybe) the two units had been neglected by previous owners. Not so. He was just as meticulous today as the first time. Their is also excellent communication between the office and the on site workers. My request was passed on to him that I wanted him to come equipped with all the filters I needed because they are not conventional size, and I didn't want to have to shop around to find them. Not only did he actually bring the right filters (because he had the dimensions in my file from last year), but he also gave me extras so I could change them when necessary. The customer service at Aire Serve is truly outstanding, and I recommend them without any reservations. Cherry on the cake : all the extra care does not cost more money than the competition. I purchased the twice yearly maintenance package with my eyes closed, which I never do. Remember to ask for Dan!

Before I can tell you about Aire Serv, I have to start by telling the story of a contractor routed by our home warranty company. First, it took tech visits (each over 2 days each) to get nothing accomplished. The first visit he "added freon" and told me I had a leak (charged me for the freon). The second visit he "cleaned" the outside unit. The third visit he didn't bother to look on the inside unit, was rude to my wife, and wouldn't answer basic questions that I had for him. So in July during the hottest time of year, my wife took off work to meet this contracted tech. He showed up for his third visit and told us that the coils were a gigantic block of ice and that we had to run our heater for 2 days to dethaw it. She called me at this point and I spoke to this tech and he hadn't even taken the cover off our system. He said there was dirt in the system and that the furnace wasn't in code so the home warranty wouldn't cover the issue. He then tells me he hadn't even looked inside because the cover wouldn't come off. I had to explain to him how to remove a sliding cover and I heard a clang and he says, "there I ripped it off for you." It was at this point, I asked him to leave my house and never come back. Enter Aire Serv... I contacted them based on the positive reviews that I saw on Angie's list. Within 15 mins their tech Dan had contacted me and offered to come out the same day. Already this was a stark difference from the home warranty tech. We agreed on a time and he showed up before his estimate. He listened quietly and patiently to what had happened and the situation with the home warranty tech, then he went through his diagnostics, walking me through what he was doing and what the potential problems were. He removed the cover on the outside unit and revealed how "clean" it was after the home warranty tech had cleaned it. Under the cover it was so caked with dirt and webs and grass that you couldn't even see the coils. He spent a good 30 mins cleaning it out and then took a very thorough look at the inside unit where he also found some minor issues. Now I realize that the fix for this, was likely routine maintenance. But the value I got out of the professionalism and thorough work that Dan did, was more valuable to me than anything else. I've seen a bunch of other comments about Dan on Angie's list so it isn't surprising that this is the type of service I got. Regardless, Aire Serv isn't paying Dan enough! He just won you a loyal repeating customer today. I hope you'll compensate him adequately for the business he is bringing you. I'm signed up for the Silver Bundle plan which includes a fall furnace check as well and I'll tell everyone I know about the experience I had with Aire Serv thanks to Dan. Great Work!

We had two significant problems over the course of five days in very hot weather. Bryan was able to fix both in a very timely and efficient manner. We would use him again without hesitation. His service was outstanding.

Dan did a wonderful job. He called and let me know when he would be at the house. Once he arrived, he kept me informed about what he was doing and what was required. Very knowledgeable. It's nice to see someone who cares about his work. I learned a lot, and, I will be using Aire Serv for all my heating and a/c work from now on.

Technician Dan Barnett showed up promptly after hours on a Sunday. He quickly diagnosed the initial issue, a starting capacitor, and replaced it. The main board and blower motor had to be ordered. Once they where in Dan returned and completed the job in a hot attic . Really appreciate the service of Aire Serv and their technician Dan. Also, like that Air Serv doesn't charge extra for after hours calls.

Our technician, Dan, was incredible! I was very pleased and recommend anyone use this company. The service they provided was excellent and the pricing was reasonable. I initially called for a second opinion and after talking with them I knew that they were the company to trust. Aire Serve is an honest company that provided me with excellent service and solved our problem promptly. Dan came out Saturday morning which was greatly appreciated!

It went great! Dan quickly found the issue. He explained what the issue was, made sure we understood it and then quoted a fair price to correct the issue and add freon back to the AC unit. He also checked the heater and shared with us some details we did not know about the model. Dan was also kind enough to set the drain line away from the AC unit in a way to minimize the risk of future clogging. It would have been easy to leave it there knowing it would eventually lead to another call. I loved the service he provided us! The call into Aire Serv was also great. The automated message promised world class service and it was.

To begin with we had made an appointment with Aire Serv to check our system as the compressor seemed to be running more than usual. The day before the appointment the compressor stopped running at all. Our system was almost 20 years old. After calling the office and speaking to Brianna, she set up an appointment for Dan to come by. He did that day and, after inspecting the system, let us know the bad news. An appointment set for 8:30 that evening for Andrew to show us the options we had. He asked us questions and explained what each system had to offer. We made our decision with his help without any high pressure sales tactics. The following day they set up a used system until the new one was to be installed in a week. Andrew called a few days before to let us know they would be installing the system on the day he said and that they be arriving about 6 AM. Clint called the night before to again remind us and he called that morning to tell us they were on the way. Clint, Neal, Gabe, and Austin all were so nice and friendly. Clint explained what was going on and answered all our questions. The whole thing took about 6 hours to remove the old gas furnace, set the new furnace, condenser, thermostat etc. The next day we did have an issue come up and called Clint about it. Dan came by that afternoon and fixed the problem in about 30 min.All is great now. The unit is so quiet you can barely hear it! If you have to spend the money for a new H VAC system you can't go wrong with this company. I have used them in the past so I already knew what to expect. I also got an Angie's List discount which is how I knew to use them to begin with.

I noticed that the temperature in my home was up to 74 degrees and getting hotter. It was 105 and very humid outside. The fan was running but there was no cold air coming out of my vents. We replaced the filters about a month ago so they were ok. Not sure why it was getting so hot in the house. I am a senor citizen and just had 3 heart attacks within the last 2 years and I was starting to get so sick from the heat I thought I was going to pass out.. I called Aire Serv and asked if they could get someone out asap. They came out that evening. He found the problem and was able to fix it right away. I was so grateful to him and his company. I will always use them for anymore issues. The other companies I called wouldn't come out until the next day even when I told them about my health issues. Thank you Aire Serv I really appreciate your company so very much.

Clint came on Sunday to do assessment. Determined unit needed to be replaced. Neal & Austin came Monday with new unit. Clint & Fake came later to help finish. They did a great job. Will definitely use them again.

Dan called before his arrival and let me know he was on the way. Once he arrived, he replaced both indoor filters and explained why the ones we were currently using weren't beneficial to our unit. He then proceeded to work on our unit outside, adding freon, checking parts, and cleaning it. He discovered that our condenser was about to go out and replaced it while he was here. He answered all my questions and even showed me where the condenser was located...comparing the old one to the new one. Dan is very knowledgeable and explained many ways that we could improve the efficiency of our unit. It was so helpful! Overall I am impressed with the level of service, knowledge, and friendliness of the individuals from this company. We plan on having them return in the fall to service our heating unit. Highly recommended.

Andrew, the sales rep, came to the house and discussed options. After we settled on a particular unit, he put together a bid and explained all the components in detail. The installation was done within five days of our accepting the bid, which was nice as the old AC unit was failing and the days were in the high 90's. The installation crew arrived early and worked diligently all day to remove the old unit and set the new one with all new fittings to the vents. When they discovered that one of the old thermostat wires didn't work, they gave us a working wireless thermostat to use until the next day when the chief installer returned with a solution to make our new digital thermostat work with the existing wires. The installation and cleanup went smoothly and the new unit seems to be functioning well.

I called Aire Serv for the first time the day my air conditioner stopped working. They were able to send someone out the same day, which I was especially grateful for since the temperature was in the upper 90s. Bryan was very professional - he even covered his shoes before entering my house. He diagnosed the problem, and since it was after 5pm, had to get a motor the next day. He returned the next day and installed it, and he also checked two of my units and added coolant to one. On both occasions he called an hour before arriving (as I asked him to). I am very pleased with the work Bryan did and with the courtesy and promptness shown by the office staff. I will definitely use them again.

Where do I begin? (SO THANKFUL FOR THESE PEOPLE) Our air conditioner went out completely unexpectedly during one of the hottest weeks of the year so far. We called Aire Serve on Sunday (6/21/16) and they sent a technician out within the hour. He came and looked at our outdoor unit, furnace, and indoor control panel and told us that our system was very old (we just purchased the house in September and knew the potential problems that could come with the unit but it was inspected and was cleared to be working properly). Anyway, the technician explained to us that our compressor went out in the outdoor unit (basically the heartbeat of the A/C) and, unfortunately, they don't make A/Cs like the one we have anymore (I think ours was installed in 1990). He said they could find the part but that it would probably cost somewhere in the range of $2,000 and with the age of our furnace (30 - 50 years old) in his opinion it wasn't worth it. He then stated that Andy would be giving us a call the following day to discuss pricing and options but that he could see if he could get some portable a/c units in the meantime so we didn't smolder. To our great surprise, Andy came not even an hour later to discuss our options. He wore shoe covers into our home and took the time to get to know us and talk over our options. He never rushed, he was so kind and gentle in his voice and we never felt like we had a stupid question. Mind you, he did all of this on FATHER'S DAY. He was away from his family for us and he didn't try to speed through anything or make it seem like we were a bother. A true professional. Now, with the options, we basically decided to go with a whole new system. It was best in the long run and saved money over time. They offered financing, however, we did not qualify for the total amount. At that point we decided to bite the bullet and buy the part to replace our current outdoor unit. Once we called them back to let them know our decision, Andy gave us another option of purchasing a used outdoor unit for a mere $825 - that's $1,175 less than it would have been just for the single part! They also gave us a summer guarantee. Andy went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more grateful. We will absolutely be lifelong customers. Not to mention, from the time they came to inspect our unit (Sunday afternoon) to the time we had our air conditioning back (Tuesday afternoon) was less than two days. And the "new" outdoor unit is working even more efficiently than our old one. We are grateful! WE CANNOT RECOMMEND AIRE SERVE ENOUGH!!! Andy, Clint and our technician team blew us away with their professionalism, kindness, and speed. Use this company!!

They did that and everything was fine. I was very pleased with what they did. They were very courteous and got right on the job. They seemed to know exactly what they were doing. So, I have since, become a year round service customer of theirs. I liked what they did so much. They come out, both in spring and fall, and they evaluate either the A/C or the heating, depending on the season coming. They charge me $278 a year and that includes replacing all of the filters, as well as, examining the units. I'm impressed with how long they go through with examination. It must be at least a couple of hours that they go through things. This is the second year now that I'm with them.

There was a filter that had become clogged and it was causing the machine to switch off, until that filter was cleared. So the man came back. He found the problem, diagnosed it and because I'm a regular member there was no charge.

Jill is super nice and sweet and Dan Barnett is also very nice and got the job done quickly and efficiently. I'm glad I called Aire Serv and I'd highly recommend their service.

Bryan provided a thorough and efficient maintenance of my AC, complete with a detailed list of all things checked. He provided filters for the unit. He was very clean, used protectors on his shoes inside and explained the 1 year plan. Very professional.

Clint, Neal, Kenny & Austin arrived promptly as promised. Extremely professional and hard working. Cleaned up after themselves, answered all questions & concerns. They take great pride in their work and truly want to please the customer. Clint is an excellent supervisor. I felt comfortable having the them my home.

After just over a year of repeated and very disappointing service experiences from a major regional HVAC firm that was clearly more intent on taking our money than providing honest service, we contacted several other HVAC firms to test and evaluate the current condition of our two residential cooling and heating systems and options for going forward. One of the firms we contacted was Edmond-based Aire Serv Heating & Air and they quickly rose to the top of the companies we contacted for service and estimates. Based on our evaluation and first-hand experiences with multiple members of the Aire Serv team - their honesty in explaining the status of our current systems, knowledge in providing a variety of clearly explained options including estimated costs, reliability, and even longer-term considerations - we chose to go with Aire Serv. Although price was in important factor, the deciding factor was the entire company's attitude towards honest and trustworthy customer service. We have certainly not regretted that decision! We first met Donnie who spent several hours thoroughly testing and checking each element of both of our HVAC systems. He pin-pointed problems we were expecting and some we were not aware of as our previous company had never tested for it. He also took the time to explain everything in specifics that both my wife and I could understand. We next met Andrew who came by to explain in detail each of our options, the EXACT costs for each, and knowledgably discussed what we could expect from each option going forward – both pros and cons. No sales pitch, no selling pressure, just thorough and clear information to aid our decision. Our existing systems were 13 years old and low efficiency (SEER 9-10). Rather than repair and replace different pieces of the system, we elected to replace both systems with high efficiency SEER 17 American Standard brand systems. On the day of our installation appointment and right at the promised time – Clint knocked on our door and introduced himself along with his team, Neal, Kenny, and Austin. These guys were unbelievable – professional, polite & friendly, experts in their craft, hardworking, and so thorough in everything they did – no short cuts! The installation of the two systems was scheduled to take two days. To insure we had cooling in the house, they replaced one unit on one day, the second unit the next day, enlarged some of the ducts and grills, and totally added a new return air grill and duct system. Clint and his team kept us posted on their progress, and provided hands-on instruction for using the new systems and the advanced, electronic, Wi-Fi enabled thermostats. When they were done, everything - inside and outside - was cleaned up and left spotless. The new systems are working terrific, and both Andrew and Clint have followed up to make sure everything met and exceeded our expectations. We will most definitely continue to use Aire Serv in the future and highly recommend them to others as a top quality and trustworthy organization.
