The inspection was performed by Dan on Thursday. The crew, Clint and Neal, came out on Friday at 8:30am, removed and installed all new equipment and made several repairs, and left by 3pm. All of them treated our home and us with respect and courtesy. They also made several repairs that we consider above and beyond what was expected. We could not be happier.

Within an hour of my call, Dan B. came to my home and did a thorough inspection of my system and determined that the was no leak in the component the other company wanted to replace for $2000. I feel that this company is trustworthy and I definitely will call them when I need Air Conditioning Service in the future.

answering service failed to log the call initially. several days delay as a result. 2nd call resulted in same day service that afternoon. Price may have been a little high, but then the individual was experienced and efficient.

Dan showed up on time, did a tune-up, explained what he did and gave a detailed description of repairs needed.

Called before arriving and telling me how long it would be before he arrived. Tested both the outside unit and the one in my attic. Found the problem and quickly fixed it. Very professional. Explained all aspects of the job to me making sure I understood what needed to be done.

It was excellent. Our central air unit stopped working after 5:00pm on a Monday. I called Aire Serv and got their answering service who took the info needed and said a technician would call me shortly. I had little faith in a return call on same day due to the time I placed the service call. Shortly I received a phone call from Clint Gilliland, from Aire Serv, who said he would be at our house within 60 minutes. He asked questions about my problem, made suggestions I could try myself to see if that would fix our unit. When it did not, he asked additional questions about the brand of our unit, then he remember our home from work he had done for us in the past. He arrived at our home promptly and had the unit working within 15 minutes of his arrival. Then he apologized for fixing it so quickly. (Apparently he thought I would feel better about having to pay for a service call if it took longer for the repair.) Within two hours of noticing my problem our air conditioner was repaired and our home was cool again. This happened in the third week of August, the hottest and I am sure the busiest service time for them. Needless to say I highly recommend this company!!!!

Our air conditioner went out on Sunday night and Dan arrived first thing in the morning to diagnose the problem. The compressor was shot and our furnace is so old that replacing just the compressor to be compatible with the outdated furnace was not an option. Dan explained the entire issue very thoroughly. He also brought over a portable air conditioner so our house could be bearable, since the temperature was over 100-degrees that day. The only reason why we put a "B" on the price is really just because no one like to pay so much money at once for a home repair, but we knew it was coming some day and these guys had the best price for the quality - American Standard 4 ton, 14 seer system. Clint, Billy and Neal were at your house first thing on Tuesday morning to put the new system in. They are very friendly, trustworthy and smart guys. They did an excellent install and cleaned up so much - the place looked better than when they arrived. Highly recommend Aire Serv!

They were there when they said they were going to be and were done by about 30 minutes earlier than the estimate they gave me.

Andy was careful to cover his shoes when entering the house. He was very professional and pleasant. He serviced our heater last fall and we were pleased then as well. We plan to continue to call them for our heat and air services.

Dan was called out and was excellent to work with. He was on time, professional, and honest about his recommendations. All work was performed very thoroughly, and he was great to work with. We will definitely call them again!

Technician was Andrew Walker. Andrew was professional, direct and to the point. He was considerate (wore shoe covers and wound up hose used for cleaning air conditioner coils). He was knowledgeable and helpful in discussing options for upgrading to a new system as well as doing ducting work.

The Upshot: For those who like to get right to the point, I could not be more pleased with my experience with Aire Serv. I would definitely use them again without any hesitation, and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone needing heating or air conditioning work. The Circumstances: I had purchased an older (1961) home late last year, and it was obvious that the heat and air was old and would need to be replaced at some point. I did have a home warranty (essentially worthless) so I thought I had some time before I would be needing to look for new AC. Well, of course the old unit went down during the hottest week of the year so far. I called the warranty company, who made an appointment for their contracted HVAC company to come look at my system. It took two days before the HVAC company could come look at my system, and even then they told me it was an electrical issue not an AC issue. It took two more visits before they told me the AC was bad. They took photos and said they would see what the warranty company would say. That last visit was on a Wednesday. Initial Call: Just to hedge my bet, I decided to look on Angie's list for an AC company and see what a new system would cost. So I called Aire Serv the same day the other HVAC company came out (a Wednesday) to see when they might be able to stop by. I was shocked to hear "we can get someone out there today", and was told that it might be late but that they would make it that day. Initial Contact: Andrew from Aire Serv called a bit later, said that he was running ahead and asked if he could come right out, which he did. When he arrived, he took the time necessary to look at my system, answer all (and I mean all, no matter how seemingly simple or obvious) my questions, and then went through his recommendations as how best to proceed. He reviewed all options, from the most economical to the most expensive. By the time he concluded I felt I had the knowledge needed to make an informed decision and decided then and there to just have Aire Serv replace my whole HVAC system. The other HVAC company didn't even get back to me (I had to call them 5 days later), and when I did speak to the owner he was nice but said that the warranty company would not cover the repairs (I don't think he even submitted the report) and of course hit me up to replace my system. It was then that I knew I had made the right decision by calling Aire Serv.. Installation: Installation of the new system was scheduled for the following Wednesday. It was raining that morning, and someone from Aire Serv called at 7:45 a.m. to ask if they could postpone until the next day, which was fine with me. I mention that because all through the process someone from the company was always communicating with me and keeping me informed. The next day, a three man crew (Clint, Billy, and Neal) showed up at bit after 8:00 a.m. (after calling me prior to make sure I was home and to let me know they were on their way...awesome!) and got right to work. Clint walked me through what was going to be happening, and answered all my questions and kept me informed of their progress throughout the day. These guys (all of whom introduced themselves to me) worked their tails off for over 10 hours and did everything from start to finish in one day!! They were efficient but didn't rush. They were careful in my home, were as clean as possible, and left the job site spotless. After installation Clint walked me through the system, showed me everything from how to change the filter to how the thermostat worked (wi-fi....very cool). He had worked all darn day long, and even though it was closing in on 7:00 p.m. he took the time to answer every question patiently and never, ever seemed like he was in a hurry to go. Price: The system I chose was a "platinum" American Standard AC with a "gold" gas heating unit. I gave the grade of "good" on the price because I was happy with it but I did not do any "price shopping" so I don't have anything to compare. The quote seemed reasonable (after hearing what other friends had paid elsewhere) and was inclusive of all rebates. Final Thoughts: This is one of those kinds of purchases where you feel nearly helpless, because you just don't know what you don't know, and are almost afraid of being taken advantage of or making the wrong decision. No one likes to spend the kind of money necessary to replace the heat and air, but Aire Serv made it about as painless as possible.Everyone I spoke to was kind, courteous, and professional. Communication was exceptional, and I honestly have no criticisms or complaints. These folks are great, and I would strongly recommend you give them the opportunity to take care of your HVAC needs. Great! They keep in contact with me and even called and told me they could come earlier. The best part, I was expecting to be told my unit was beyond repair and I'd need a new $$$$$ one. But instead...they had the exact opposite, Andy worked in my attic for well over 30 min in 100+ degree heat and focused on keeping my unit working longer. I was so impressed with this company I signed up for the yearly maintenance program. If you need fair, honest and trustworthy A/C company then these guys are it!!!

There's a good chance you're reading this post because you're "busted!" Meaning your air conditioner decided to quit working when you needed it most -- late July (any year) in Oklahoma. Consider yourself very lucky to have discovered this review because Scott Sowder and his crew at Aire Serve specialize in "busted." I've only employed them for replacement, but they're going to be doing all my maintenance and repair in the future. That's my level of confidence. If you have any problem at any point in the process, Scott will make it right! Count on it!!! First, you're gonna talk to Jill. Then, Andy shows to make the deal. Next, Clint and Billy make it real -- cool that is. Aire Serv even files your warranty paperwork with the manufacturer; and very, very, important, before they leave the job site, they sign a release of liability giving the homeowner extra piece of mind. What price can you put on that -- piece of mind and the home environment comfort provided by Aire Serv?

Jill, who took my calls was very nice, informative and helpful. Dan, who came out to work on the A/C unit was professional, and extremely informative. He told me quite a lot about the system I have and gave me lots of helpful information about filters, motors, and told me how to get the very best service from the system I have. He explained how the short had happened, and what he did to prevent that same issue in the future.

Andy was actually here ahead of time, but did call to make sure I was home. Very informative on everything and extremely pleasant and professional.

Had four estimates done Andy with Aire Serve took more time to explain what I was paying for. His bid made more sense they were not the least expensive, but for the price they bid the best equipment. Instillation went really good. 1 day everyone else said 2 to 3 days. The installers were great very hard working and friendly. Clint and Billy did an awesome job very impressed. They went the extra mile clean things that had nothing to do with the installation. I couldn't find 1 single piece of trash left no traces of the ever being there at all other than a new heat pump!! Great job. The attic insulation however was subleted out by Air Serve. I wasn't very impressed with that portion. 1200 dollars they were there for 45 minutes and didn't tape off anything. I still get some debris/insulation falling through my bathroom fans. Not horible but for that amount of money i would have liked to see the take some precaustions on things like that.

They are my favorite by far. They are one of the best companies I have ever worked with in any trade. The guy that owns it is very nice. They are responsive and do exactly what they say they are going to do. The guy that comes out is very sharp and is always well dressed. He knows exactly what to do and they do the work the right way. You get what you pay for.

Arrived when said, watched him repair the air conditioning unit and engaged him in conversation. Excellent repair man advised me of possible future problems.
