We had two leaky fireplace roof vents, and a couple of questions about a corner flashing issue. Alex came out and was able to schedule the repair later that day. We knew we had a leak, and even had another roofing company come out who said they didn’t think the vents were leaking. That company was not as experienced as Alex, who figured it out right away. He looked at a few other things I had questions on and offered different cost suggestions on how to fix it. Aegis will be our first call from now on.

Aegis Roofing did a fantastic job. They explained everything in language I could understand and helped me work with my insurance company. Great communication every step of the way. They were on location when they said they would be and completed the project quickly. They talked with me every evening and eery morning to make sure I did not have any questions and things were going smoothly. Even texted me pictures of their progress throughout the day. Excellent job and I highly recommend them.

We used Aegis roofing when we sold our last home when our realtor recommended them to us. They came out and did a roofing evaluation for us to provide to the buyer which was honest and fair. However, the biggest thing Aegis did for us was a last minute repair on our roof (popping down nails, sealing nails at the ridgeline, etc) that was originally scheduled with another roofer. We had to switch at the last minute and Aegis not only bailed us out (same day as our call) but their customer service, communication, and honesty was second to none. When it comes time to replace the roof on our new home I know who I will be calling.

I was first introduced to Aegis Roofing several years ago when they were referred to me by a client of mine who had previously used them. I had several roofs replaced by them a several years back due to hail damage and age, and just recently had them roof another property for me. Each home Aegis Roofing has roofed for me was reasonably priced, begun and finished in the time frame originally promised, and each job was cleaned up diligently afterwards. Jonathan, the owner, is one of the most conscientious, helpful and professional people you will ever meet. He has always gone above and beyond to get the job done well, and to follow through with every aspect of what was agreed upon. There have been times he has thrown something extra in for free just to help me out. I decided to write this review because I have been so pleased their workmanship and helpful service, and because of this, I wish them further success and want others to know about them! I have nothing but good things to say about this company and I have no reservations in referring them.

They are super duper nice guys and weren't trying to sell us crap we didn't need, they were done in a day and they were pretty good on the clean up. The price was in line with all the other quality guys and there were two companies in the waiting my insurance actually recommended them.

Since this was the second roof that Aegis has installed, Jonathan showed up with a print out of exactly what they used on our roof the first time to give to the insurance adjuster and stayed with the adjuster the entire time to ensure our claim was correct. Jonathan is very professional and he knows the roofing business from all sides since he has been a adjuster for a insurance company. Our roof was installed. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. If I ever need another roof I will use Aegis roofing again!

I have never had to replace a roof. I had multiple companies provide estimates and advice and asked each roofer many questions. Aegis was not the lowest price, but was very competitive and Jonathan had been recommended by a good friend. He was the only one to actually go up into my separate attics before advising me on the best type of ventilation to add as my house had soffit vents only and no outlets on the roof. The matter was complicated by a patio cover I was having constructed that tied into my rafters and was planned to extend almost halfway up the back of my roof. I needed to time the roof and associated flashing immediately upon patio cover completion. It wasn't until after I selected Aegis that I realized what a good choice I had made. Many items I did not know enough to ask about ie: underlayment quality, ridge cap type, use of snow and ice shield, complete material removal down to decking, etc. came up during the job and the material quality and attention to detail by the Aegis crew was significantly better than that noted (or omitted) on my other estimates. Even though the estimate was made well before the patio cover construction was started, Aegis did so many things to make it perfect without additional charge. and quot;Dry to the weatherand quot; was part of the required patio cover inspection by the city. On short notice, Jonathan had a crew out to complete the job in time for my inspection. They used snow and ice shield on my entire patio cover due to the limited pitch in comparison to the rest of the roof. They used top notch Tiger Paw underpayment and went above and beyond with the necessary flashing around my patio cover and new chimney. They even discovered the incorrect type of vent cap for my dryer and made a special run to get the proper cap. I couldn't be more pleased with the price and quality of work provided by Aegis. They were definitely the best value combined with top notch quality.

Our roof was damaged in a hail storm. We bid the roofing out to two other parties. Bids were all pretty close to each other but Aegis was lower. I selected Aegis since I had them do some roof repairs before and several neighbors have also been pleased with their work. They did a fine job. I am certainly no roofing expert so trying to dissect the job done is not really within my skills. I do know we had 0 leaks with the first heavy rain, which is the roof's primary job. There was some minor damage to guttering during the install but they either repaired or replaced the sections to my satisfaction. There was one vent pipe that gave them trouble. At first, it was not vertical coming out of the roof but the supervisor wouldn't stop until he got it right. He had to call an HVAC guy to redo the duct to get it vertical. Neither one of us was even sure it was straight before the job started. I suspect not and felt this was going above and beyond to get the details right. They also filed all the paperwork with my insurance so I will be able to get a new discount. They also seemed to do a good job cleaning up. They did beat up a couple flower beds. I should have expected this but it did not occur to me. They offered to replace any and all damaged plants but it was mostly annuals and the end of the season anyway. I have a fountain under one of the eaves and roofing debris did get in it. I would have covered it up if I had thought about it. They offered to clean it out for me but it is not a big deal. These were things they probably should have pointed out before starting. However, none of the other companies said anything about potential issues like this either. Talking to others indicates this is pretty typical. I'll try to remember this next time I replace a roof. The first time I worked with them, they fixed a leak for free just to be sure they would get a shot at future roof replacement. They spent over an hour fixing the leak and I was more than willing to pay them. I did pay them for the second leak a little over a year ago. I lost some shingles and ridge caps during a wind storm. Called them up, they fixed it, billed somewhere around $100. Worked for me.

Jonathan was recommended to me after our insurance company denied our hail damage claim. Jonathan used to be an insurance adjustor so he was very familiar with the process of working WITH the insurance company and a homeowner to assure both parties understood exactly what was happening. I won't bore you with the details of THAT part of the transaction, but I will say this; Jonathan was instrumental in helping us resolve the situation with our insurance company. It took a few weeks and several conversations and letters. Two things impressed me about how Jonathan handled himself. He was always very transparent with me and he was diligent about keeping the process non-adversarial. I came away with a new appreciation for our insurance company. How often does that happen? :) Anyway, with regards to the roof.... Once we were down to the roofing process, Jonathan was VERY patient in helping us pick a roofing material. We talked through the options and again, his honest opinion with regards to materials and warranties proved invaluable. We chose a product, scheduled the job and then a tornado went through Edmond the weekend before they were to start. I was worried (selfish, I know) that they would have to put us off. But they didn't. Jonathan hired 3 crews to work on our house so that we would be done in the time allotted (5 days). It was a very difficult roof to manage with respect to the pitch and size. PLUS, we have an in-ground pool they had to work around. There were a couple of mishaps on the job, but Jonathan handled them promptly and with integrity. His foreman, Dick, was a gem to work with. I love our roof! I would highly recommend Aegis Roofing. I won't use another company for my property or my rental properties roofing needs.
