Response from Punneo Plumbing
[Member name removed], I have reviewed your claim and spoken with the licensed plumber and find numerous inconsistencies in your claim. First, I would like to point out that the work completed at your residence was performed on May 30th, 2014 (not June 4th as claimed) and the amount for services rendered was $105- not $118 as stated. There is also a notation on your field receipt, given to you at the time of service, that the 90 located in the alley is broken down and will need to be dug up and repaired- this point is located approximately 100' from your house where your main sewer line turns down to meet the city sewer main. It is common procedure that we offer a 30 day guarantee on all drain cleanings being that the problem is not roots or collapsing- being that these are natural occurrences handled by mother nature that are considered uncontrollable and uncontainable. On your field invoice you will also see a notation of roots; for future reference, in our years of work in this industry, if you have root infestation you will at minimal continue to have problems in the spring and fall until this problem is corrected. It is not uncommon for us to extend that 30 day guarantee to customers when there is a phone call placed to our office- as not knowing there is still an existing problem, it is hard to correct or diagnose the underlying problem at stake. It is common procedures what you seen the day that the sewer service was performed; the main trunk line was cleared and exposed uphill line(s), this being the kitchen line, drained. Thank you for your payment at the time of service; had you called our offices, protocol, before the 30 day expiration of your warranty on the drain cleaning- we would have graciously came to make sure you had working facilities until the underlying problem was corrected. Thank You, Management Note on Field Ticket: 90° in alley way broke down needs dug up and repaired. 100' cable down stream. Roots. Signed: Wiliam Punneo OK LIC# 94297
