Ryan was so helpful: knew exactly the fix that was needed-contacted me shortly after placing the project on Angi. Scheduling was easy as Ryan was able to work around the days/times I could be at home. Want to make special mention and say THANK YOU-Ryan was at my place a few minutes before the scheduled time. Ryan also took a look at a ceiling fan and helped understand the controls to it. Do you self a favor and contact Essential Electric first!

Have had him do 3 jobs for us. He repaired a bad breaker. Converted my daughter's bad fluorescent kitchen lights to led. Converted my kitchen lights to led. Installed 3 ceiling fans. Checked socket in chandelier. Will be having him install new porch light when I find ones I like. I couldn't be happier. If I could have I would have put 4 plus signs after each "A" rating.

Total kitchen remodel. Ryan did everything just the way we wanted it done. Everything was very neat and timely. He worked well with the other contractors. This guy is my electrician on all future jobs.

The telephone cable to my house was jerked loose from the junction box mounted on the outside brick. While not completely separated, the cable now droops between the telephone pole and the junction box, practically lying on the ground. My house has two junction boxes mounted outside, with all sorts of wiring going every which way, and I, quite frankly, couldn't figure out what everything was and who would be responsible for fixing it -- the telephone company or an electrician. I made a cold call to Ryan Weems, Essential Electric, who was extraordinarily kind, patient, courteous, informative and professional. Rather than take advantage of my ignorance and charge me for a service call to come view the problem, Ryan suggested I email him photos which would help him determine whether or not I needed an electrician, or if I could straight to the telephone. Less than five minutes after I emaiedl the pictures, Ryan called me. He explained what the cables were and the various junction boxes and let me know I did not need to hire an electrician. Thanks to Ryan's honesty and integrity, he helped me, someone he didn't know at all, resolve a problem with no personal gain for himself. Ryan could have gone ahead and conducted a service call, charging me for his time, but rather than do so, he took a higher moral road. Ryan demonstrated courtesy, patience, professionalism and integrity. If I do find myself requiring the services of an electrician, I definitely will reach out to Ryan Weems of Essential Electric.

Perfect work, plus he taught me about LED light bulbs and Kelvin color temperature and how it affects the lighting in a room. Excellent work.

Originally purchased a special Ryan had for the mapping thru Angie's list. He showed up to do that job, but the electrical problem was more important to me, so he worked on it. About a week later, he came to finish the mapping. This guy knows his stuff and if I ever need more work he will get my business. It took 2 hours on both occasions.

Well.I found Ryan on Angies list and called for service. I used him twice in a week(1/28/17) for a home we were finishing up a remodel on. He was prompt, courteous and professional and provided the work for an hourly rate.

Much more expensive than I expected, but some electric problems appeared. My home is old so that's not the electricians fault. Work done on time. I'm very pleased overall.

Everything went as promised, on time, and a fair price. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have actually shown pictures of the inside of my electrical panel to my friends because of how neat and orderly everything is.

My wife enjoyed how non-evasive he was, as she was working from home that day. All work was completed, and there wasn't any hard up-selling for products or scare tactics, which occurred with a "well known" electric company. It was just a man who tried getting as much as possible done within the allotted time. We've since used him again.
