Strip and refinish existing hardwood floor to match. Install insulation, drywall, and paint an unfinished 235sq/ft room within the attic. Install supports and decking for the room's ceiling and provide an access door for the area above for use as a storage loft. Construct and install two 9 ft by 30 in workshop countertops on opposing walls. Install electrical outlets and vinyl flooring. Sand and refinish front door.

You must have skill sets for installing each spindle and securing the base and top rail. 3D Construction was meticulous.

Clean up each evening and neatly stack unused materials, etc, so there is no mess lying around the yard, etc. Check in during process, to be sure things are being repaired as expected. If anything turns up that requires more work/mateirals than originally estimated, they will contact you to go over it & get approval before doing. These folks are VERY busy so there may be a fair waiting period (which they will let you know how long) but it is worth it.
Description of Work: Replaced a lot of woodrot on older home, some of it very fiddly (architectural details). Completely reworked damaged dormers and painted.

We needed a place for our dogs to go in and out. They built a frame for a screened in porch and cut an opening in our rock wall and installed a doggy door. They were professional, timely, and did amazing work! We couldn't be happier. Would definitely use them again.

+ 1 moreEverything went great, all work was performed as spelled out in the contract both in time and money. Robert and Brandon are both a real pleasure to work with. Their paint crew also did a fantastic job of high quality and cleaned up completely behind themselves. This is the second good sized project that 3D has done for us and it certainly won't be the last. Way to go 3D - you're certainly #1 on my list !!!!!!! I'll be calling again come Spring time.
Description of Work: Replaced all interior doors with solid quality doors and new hardware, replaced 2 doors between the kitchen and dining room and the kitchen and living room with French 8 pane glass doors; replaced door between den and garage with new well insulated door, painted all interior walls in off white and all interior trim with slightly darker shade of medium gloss enamel. Our home was built in the seventies and this work really updated the look of the house.

+ 3 moreSelection process: utilized various means of identifying potential contractors that could do the job ( Angie's List, BBB, etc.). After reducing the list to a few contractors, had them come out and discuss project and requested estimates. Followed up on references. 3-D was slightly more than the others, but they impressed me with their knowledge and suggested options to consider. Work: They handled all the required permitting and inspections along the way. After the permit was approved rain moved in and delayed the start, but once the weather cooperated they began on time and moved along quickly. The foundation work was excellent as they built to commercial standards. Framing and electrical work was completed as requested and inspected with no issues. The slowest point of the project was the bricking of the entire exterior, I got to see this on a daily basis and saw the quality of workmanship that went into this. Once bricking was completed the weather again affected the project, but once that was out of the way they came in and completed the final concrete work. Other: They brought in a large dumpster to collect trash, removed dirt, concrete, etc. to keep the area neat. They also cordoned off the area to keep their construction material contained. On final day of cleanup, they even mowed the grass that had grown up in the area. Everyone that showed up was very professional and easy to work with. The owners had a true desire to please, make sure things were done right and that we were happy with everything. Before final payment we walked over the entire project to make sure I was satisfied and that nothing had been missed. Payment: Made four payments over the entire project and never before work had been performed.
Description of Work: Originally requested a detached two car garage/shop 25 x 30. Due to our certificate of dedication for the neighborhood we had to change to have it connected to existing home. They discovered this during getting a permit from the city. They worked with us on options for connecting it to the existing home.

+ 5 moreBrandon was on time and very professional. The quote took longer to get than any other quote we have gotten (5 days) though, and was significantly higher. Four other quotes have been for about $4000-$5000, but have not included materials. Brandon's quote was for $15,000. We have priced the materials ourselves, and for the run of the mill items we wanted there is no way it would get you anywhere close to $15k in price. (The work is being done on a rent house, so we only wanted basic windows, and doors.) Also, the quote did not break down the prices for the different things we wanted done, or for the materials, which would have made using them for some of the projects and not others, more difficult.
Description of Work: Provided a quote for services involving removing a non load bearing wall, tiling a 200 square foot area, fixing electrical outlets, changing out broken window, installing a new glass patio door, and finishing out a bathroom renovation that was started by the previous homeowner.

+ 0 moreRobert came out and was very professional and helpful in his suggestions and with my requests. They seem a bit pricey but you get your money's worth and they don't doddle. After main house decks were finished, we were so pleased with the results we decided to replace pool deck as well.
Description of Work: Replaced my decks with Tamko Ever Grain decking. After main decks were finished decided to replace pool deck. Great service, however bigger job than initially tht but finished it quickly and very professionally. Bottom line- you get what you pay for with these guys, you pay a bit more but you get your money's worth.

+ -1 moreWe did not hire this company. Their estimate was way too high and they did not respond to my inquires about a break down of the costs.
Description of Work: We were replacing an existing 30" wide propane cook top and a 30" wide electric oven with new appliances sO I called 3D for an estimate. The installation of the new appliances would require minor cutting of the granite counter top to accommodate the new cook top and some trim work around the oven. Also required would be the relocation of the electric connection from the left side of the oven compartment to the right side and a relocation of the propane gas regulator to accommodate the new cook top. I had already received estimates from three other sources. One estimate was for $600 to relocate gas and electric only and I would have to switch appliances by myself. Another estimate was for $100 to trim granite counter top only and again, I would have to switch appliances by myself. A third estimate was for $765 to relocate electric connection, relocate propane regulator and trim the granite counter top as well as remove and replace the existing appliances with the new ones. I contacted 3D and described the work I wanted done. Brandon came to our house a few days later and we talked through what he though it would take to get the new appliances installed. He proposed to relocate the electric, relocate the propane regulator, trim the granite counter top, and swap out appliances. We discussed the need to trim the granite counter top as well. He also mentioned that the new cooktop might need a beauty ring to hide the corners of the cutout for the new cooktop. He said it would take less than a day to do all the work. A couple days later I got a phone call from 3D with an estimate of $2500. I called Brandon and asked for a detailed break down of the estimate so I knew what I was paying for. A day or so later I received an email from Robert Dalton with a general description of the work to be performed as follows: 1. Remove existing cook top and oven. 2. Relocate existing 220 plug and 110 plug in. 3. Relocate existing gas line to accommodate new cook top / oven. 4. Add a stainless steel beauty ring to enclose old granite cut line. 5. Add trim around oven and stain to match existing trim color. 6.Install new cook top and oven. I emailed back and requested a more specific breakdown of the cost. Even if it took a full 8 hour day I was being asked to pay over $312 per hour to have my appliances installed. I wanted to know how many men were going to be on site? For how long? What was the break down for material and for labor? Was cutting the granite counter top included in the estimate? I never heard back from them. I waited a few days and followed with a second email asking for clarification the estimate. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard back so I elected to use another contractor. I can't speak to the quality of their work but the initial estimate was sure a stumbling block for me.

+ 3 more3-D was OK. At first I was happy with the work they did--especially on the porch. As the projects progressed it seemed like the company began to realize they had underbid and started cutting corners. For example, they ordered a tub surround that was too short. Rather than order a properly sized surround, they just added a layer of trim around the upper perimeter. They purchased a fan for the bathroom, drilled a hole in the painted ceiling, and then found out they couldn't install the fan. They patched the hole, but didn't offer to paint it to match. They replaced a number of window panes, but left putty visible on the windows. They repaired a hole in the ceiling above the toilet while the toilet tank lid was off, allowing drywall and dust to fall into the tank. I had to drain the tank and scrape out about 1/2 cup of debris myself. I had to remind them that their bid included basement drywall repair that was not yet completed. The drywall panels the installed were never taped or mudded. The drywall repair in the dining area overhangs the baseboard, and drywall dust/ plaster was left on the wood molding. They did not clean up the drywall dust until I asked them too, and once they did I wished I hadn't; they used my swiffer wet wipes to 'clean' the area, with the end result of white plaster streaks all over the wood floors. This house is a fixer upper, and I would have used a reliable contractor for future work on bathrooms, kitchen and other remodels. I won't be using 3-D. It was a good start, but they just didn't finish well.

We had used them only once before to install several tub surrounds and we were also pleased with their price, knowledge and professionalism. We're glad we called them back and won't hesitate to contact them again for future work.
Description of Work: In remodeling a 60-year old building, 3-D re-framed an old stairwell so other subcontractors could put on a special flooring, and then they created new stair skirting for four flights of stairs.

+ -1 moreI was needing to have my kitchen cabinets and countertops replaced due to a leak under my sink. I had them come out and provide an estimate but I did not end up having them perform the work because the cost they quoted was more than I could afford and I thought it was more than it should be for my very small galley kitchen. I have 11 cabinets total and I wanted quartz or granite counters. They quoted me over $10,000 and told me it would be 6 weeks before they could start. I was able to go somewhere else and get the same thing and paid 1/2 what they wanted and got the work started immediately. The person who came out to provide the quote looked at my kitchen very quickly and said he would get back to me with the quote within 3 days. He also acted like because my kitchen is small and would never be on the cover of any magazine that it wasn't worth their time. One week after he came to look at my kitchen I still had not received my quote. I emailed him and asked if they were even interested in providing me with a quote or if I needed to take my business elsewhere. Only after that did I get the quote. I can tell you based on this experience I will not bother to contact them again since my humble home is not up to their standards.

Robert and his foreman, Brandon, came to the rescue when a deck renovation revealed hidden rot and water damage that required immediate attention. As the coordinator of all household projects and repairs around our south Tulsa home, I make it a habit to use the initial assessment and bid process to gauge the responsiveness and professionalism of people who work on our home. From start to finish, this project went as promised. Calls were returned quickly, workers performed skillfully and adjustments were discussed and approved as needed. I think there was good value for the level of work performed. This unexpected repair started out as a huge headache but I wound up finding a crew that I will use and recommend, again and again.
Description of Work: Reconstruction of water damaged exterior stem wall and siding. Also replaced flooring and rim joists.

Estimate was very reasonable for work requested. He told us when they could start and how long it would take to complete the project and that was exactly what they did! Started on time, finished on time! Hard working and professional crew, cleaned up after themselves and even found time to pet the dog. They were wonderful - I will definitely call hem again as I have several other projects on my To-Do-List before I retire at the end of next year.

+ -1 moreEverything went well until the water got turned on. The quality of the build was really good and i was very satisfied with how it looked. The issue came at the end when we actually started using the bathroom. They had to return twice to fix leaks in some of the plumbing finish work. This caused damage downstairs that had to be fixed. They were very responsive to fixing the issues. I just hope the lesson learned here was to fully test the plumbing before allowing full use. It is hard to say anything bad though since they were always very responsive and took responsibility for their mistakes. Its hard to say whether i would use them again, since i was pleased with the build, if it just wasnt for the 2 floods......

Description of Work: 3-D Construction did granite in the kitchen and the master bath, the half bath and another full bath. In the master bath they tore out the shower and the tub and all the ceramic tile on the floor and replaced all of that with new.

+ 5 moreWe were left high and dry by another remodeling company that was on Angies list. They came out 8 weeks ago and we were booked for the 6th of August. No one called or showed up-No one! A garage full of all new products to go into the house from tile to paint to cabinets. I called 3 other remodeling companies and they were all nice but Robert Nathan was the best. He sent his foreman,Brandon, who was very knowledgeable on everything needed to be done. They fit us in with all the other jobs they had going on an did a Superb job and finished in under 8 days. Mind you none of this was on their plans for the hot August month but helped us in every way as not to have everything back up. New windows, carpet etc. They are the best I have seen in Tulsa and if you give them a call you will not regret that choice. Wish I could put up pictures! Thanks Justin Hawk homeowner.
