 + -1 moreHe had to troubleshoot quite a bit with the circuit breaker box, outlets, then wiring in the attic. It was HOT to be in the attic but he was thorough and found the problem wire. He had to be here for more than two hours but still only charged $140 with the service call.
Description of Work: All the outlets in my dining room quit unexpectedly. Mr Stowers checked the circuit breakers and several outlets, one by one.After checking wires in the attic, he found the problem. He also fixed a wire that would eventually burn out, but hadn't caused problems YET. In 2004, I first called Mr. Stowers for an outlet issue in my kitchen island and had him install lights inside my kitchen cabinet. He was reasonable, friendly, and professional then and I remembered "extraordinaire". When I first called in August of 2012, he tried to walk me through a few quick fixes that would save me a service call.WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE? The ideas over the phone did not work, but he was sincere in wanting to help. He fixed the problem and potentially saved us from a house fire due to failed wiring. I will call him for any future electrical issues.
