HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH QUOTE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Requested a quote for new roof and gutters on my 4 bedroom/1 bath home. Recieved call from David to request to come give me a quote on my roof. Came same day in the evening. Walked out of his truck and told me I had to trim my tree before saying hi or anything to me. I told him had he given me a moment to say that I would inform him I would be doing all of the tree work prior to having my roof done. Stayed on my property less than 5 minutes and told me he could bring me a quote the next day but it would be open ended due to not knowing if anything would need to be replaced after old shingles were removed. I told him I expect some repairs. He did not explain in detail what he would do as far as everything included if I chose to hire this company, just told me he would call the next day before bringing me the quote. He acted as if my roof and gutters would be a waste of his time and like he had bigger and better things to do. I waited the next day for his call but never received it nor did he return my call that afternoon inquiring on the quote. Very disappointed in his lack of customer service skills and follow through.

The owner, Charles, was amazing to work with. It was my first time to deal with hail damage and an insurance claim. He easily guided me through the process. When my insurance tried to deny the damage, Nichtech advocated for me and ultimately led to my trot being replaced. The crew that did the repair were amazing professionals and extremely courteous. Charles made the stressful experience quite pleasant, and easy. I’ll always refer him and his business and I’m grateful for his work.

We found the whole process of working with Nichtech to be very satisfying. They were very professional in how they made contact for the roof inspection. Not the "high pressure" sales we had experienced from other roof repair companies. Charles was very helpful in walking through how the repair process would work, our reports and forms needed for the insurance company and the final inspections. All areas of hail damage were repaired as promised and the results more than met our expectations. His company replaced our roof and arranged for gutter replacement and fence and shed painting. Each team was very respectful and considerate to our needs. Truly a good company to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing home repairs.

I needed all the shingles on my roof replaced as well as a portion of my roof that is flat. I also wanted the longest life shingles I could get. David came out and quoted an impact-resistant shingle that would meet my needs as well as a solution for my flat roof section. As with any type of project like this, some unknown issues were revealed when the old shingles were removed, but David and his team communicated with me, dealt with the issues quickly and effectively, and the additional cost was reasonable and minimal. I was promised the job would be a quality job (as I expected anyway given Nichtech's great rating on this site anyway), and Nichtech delivered. I was very pleased with the look of the materials and work when all was completed. The roof, new vents, etc. all is solid and well done. David has been helpful through the process, even when I can be a "difficult" customer. Great service even after the job is done. I will emphasize to others that Nichtech may not be the least expensive quote for roofing that you get (and their quote wasn't the most expensive either) but the quality, service, and peace of mind will be well worth any extra costs you incur.

Did a great job - removed old roof, inspected for any water damage, installed new underlayer and new tiles.

They were there within hours of the tornado and they were there until the job was completed. Very professional and complete and always available for any questions. You could call them any time and they returned your call right away. They went out of their way to take care of me. I will use them again if needed.

A total mess, and a waste of my time to try and deal with them. The owner did email me that he was not going to honor the contract- paid to have lawn mowed- took off work to sign contract- total waste of time

Just thought everyone should know what a great job Nichtech did for me. They were always on time and called before they came. Very courteous. All of their crew/subcontractors were terrific and gave attention to detail. They acted as though they were happy to be doing the job. They painted the exterior of my house without getting paint spray on my new windows, replaced the decking on my roof and chimney and the shingles and replaced siding on side of house. Everything was done in a timely manner, they were very fair on their price and didn't go over the estimate. They even bought me a new 6' step ladder they accidentally took, thinking it was theirs, when they couldn't find it in their stuff. It was probably already out on another job. I highly recommend them for the service, work ethic, skill and clean up afterward.

It was a very good experience. Charles the owner & Jamie the oversees were in constant contact before during & after installation. Jamie was on site most of the time during installation. We all very pleased with the look of the roof. No complaints whatsoever-highly recommend.

Charles and his crew re-roofed our home and incorporated our make-shift patio cover into our roof line which required additional carpentry work. Subs that were hired for carpentry were highly-skilled.

I hired Nichtech Roofing after talking with Robert and feeling that he knew what I was looking for. He seemed affable and knowledgeable. Their estimate was higher than others but I was willing to pay extra to get it done right. I found them on Angie's List. I checked their website to see some of their work and also looked them up on bbb.org to check their rating, A+. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disaster for me. Just about everything I dreaded happening happened. I have a small 1600 sq. foot home near the Fairgrounds. Two layers of old 3-tab shingle were taken off and then the tar paper. Underneath is what is called a "one by" roof which is a bunch of small horizontal boards with gaps running across the top of the house. That's all there is between the attic and the sky. Instead of talking to me about making a deck with plywood sheets and attaching a the roof to that, they nailed the underlayment/padding material and shingles to the boards. The old, brittle, creaky, "one by" boards. Quite a few just cracked and fell into the attic. I can see the underneath of the roof from my attic. There are gaps the size of my foot showing the underlayment/padding material. Some have nails poking through. I'm still waiting for a strong, driving rain to see if I'm going to have leaks. The crew was in such a hurry. It was as if work visas were expiring that day. I can't explain the rush. The weather was very mild. They left a mess that some had to come back and clean; nails, tar paper, broken glass in the front of my house, etc. I'm still picking up debris from my and my neighbor's yard! I was told that they would go around with magnets and make sure there was no mess, etc. It was worse then I could have imagined. I made a point of asking Robert to be careful of the 4 young shrubs I had just planted 2 months before. I was told they'd be careful of those. If one survives now I'll be lucky. Since the roof is half as thick as it used to be the gutters don't line up correctly. Especially on the sides of my garage. They are collapsed and hang down on one end. The front doorbell works intermittently now, if at all. Plus the roof really doesn't look all that great. The front edge looks like a sine wave and the screens on the gutters don't line up right. I had gutters installed in the back of my house in 2012. Those are damaged too. Here's what I was told when I brought up these issues: "We are not responsible for gutters or doorbells. It's in the contract." Then to top it all off, after paying extra to have a "Lifetime" Impact shingle roof I was told "In 20 years when you replace the roof again, 20 or 30 years, you might want to have it decked properly" 20 years!! The cheapest 3 tab shingle is warranted for 25 years! I bought the top of the line and then hear a comment like that. That's distressing. Lastly, I'm not sold on the fact that the solar vent ($350) which was installed actually works. We've only had one 90+ degree day since the roof was installed. On that day I went up to the attic every couple of hours to check the fan and although it was really hot, sweat immediately hot, the fan never turned. I guess I'll have to wait until next summer to know for sure. There's more but I think I've said enough. If there are any questions about the veracity of my review, I welcome anyone to come to my house to see for themselves. I have never given a negative review on Angie's List before. I don't like to. I have that old "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything" mentality. But on this job I feel as though I've been "taken to the cleaners". I hope it doesn't happen to you.

Responded quickly to calls, texts and messages through Angie's List. Nice, professional and did a great job. Price was good for the work needed. I will definitely use them again in the future when needed.

Nictech owner came out and checked out the roof. He determined that the problem was with the vents. One of his technicians came out a few days later and replaced the vents. No more leaks through the torrential rain storms we had this past spring.

Charles was Johnny on the spot from day one when we called him. He walked us through all the paper work and explained the adjusters papers to us and was able to get us more money where original adjuster overlooked. Roof was done the first week, siding, interior repairs and painting were completed recently and we are totally satisfied and happy with the work done. Charles is the best at what he does and I would highly recommend him.

Charles, the owner, made an appointment, at my convenience to explain the roofing estimate that he had done. I had received hail damage from one of the many spring storms in Tulsa. He explained in detail what work needed to be done and his recommendations on the type of shingle I should use. He also took the time to explain to me the very confusing insurance claim report and the requirements of processing the claim. His work crew arrived early and completed the entire process of removal and installation in one day. The roof looks great and I am very pleased with the entire job, including the price.

He came out, looked over my roof, and then let me know that I didn't even need any services. I found his honesty admirable, as he easily could have taken advantage of the situation.

A couple of small repairs were needed and taken care of.

The owner was very responsive, coming by my house and providing me with a verbal ballpark estimate within 24 hours. He then followed up with an email detailing the estimate and a contract outlining the work, guarentees, etc. Very thorough, complete and professional. The scheduling and repair on my roof occurred within days of our agreement, which had to be very difficult given the number of storms in the area at the time. The repair was completed in a day and the crew clean up was so well done, you couldn't tell any work had been done on the roof - a miracle, given the size of the job and task! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for honest, fast, diligent work by a company that takes pride in their work.

I first contacted Nichtech because I had an overhang on my back porch that was rotting and leaking. I purchased a deal through Angie's List for them to come out and take a look. Mr. Nichols came out himself. The deal purchased included a roof inspection as well. After inspecting the roof, he informed me that I had hail damage. I figured I did, but I didn't realize it was bad enough to file an insurance claim. Mr. Nichols walked me through the process and was extremely informative and helpful. I was able to have the replacement covered through my insurance! This would never have happened had it not been for Mr. Nichols's thoroughness and assistance. The replacement proceeded quickly and easily. The crew was considerate and cleanup was amazing.

I went with Nichtech because I trusted the information Charles shared with me. He was thorough on his inspection and options for repair or replacement. Charles has also given me sound advice on a rental property. The crew for the roof replacement were very nice individuals. They completed the project quickly and did an excellent job of cleaning up once they were finished. I would definitely recommend Nichtech and will use them in the future if the need arises.

Went very well. Charles Nichols arrived on time and asked a few questions to determine what it was I needed. He went up on the roof and explained to me what he was seeing and how to tell if a wood shake shingle has hail damage. Mr. Nichols gave me options on different types of shingles to use in the future and answered all my questions.
