LOWE'S

I went into Lowe's to have them give me an estimate and arrange to have a new french door and to see if they could also have the contractor install a handicap ramp and back porch. The Contractor (Hicks Construction) was professional. He came out and measured and gave me an estimate. The Lowe's store was given the measurements for the door (Special Order). I went into Lowes to see the estimate and to order everything. When door arrived Lowe's contacted the Contractor who scheduled an install for October. When the Contractor went to pick-up the door he noticed that it wasn't the right size and had them check the paperwork he submitted to verify correct size. Lowe's had ordered the wrong size door. It took another 3 weeks to get the correct door in. The rest of the install went well with Lowe's checking in to verify that the job was done well and up to standard. I was very pleased with the Contractor, Wendell Hicks of Hicks Construction but not happy with Lowe's ordering. Lowe's didn't seem to concerned that they had messed up the order only concerned that the contractor did his part. Lowe's needs to work on themselves.

I am not quite sure how many cabinets it was that I had replaced, but, it was quite a high number. Anyways, Lowe's did very well and they even finished a little early. They showed up for the job on time and they worked extremely well. I had great luck dealing with Lowe's. I have no reason to complain about anything; not the price or the service.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY ANSWERED ALL OF MY HUSBAND'S QUESTIONS CLEARLY. THEY WERE VERY PROFICIENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THEIR AREA OF EXPERTISE. WE WERE GREATLY SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS.

THE GUY THEY SENT OUT TO PUT OUR SHED UP WAS TERRIBLE. HE TOOK TWO DAYS TO DO A ONE DAY JOB. WE BOUGHT THE WOOD FOR THE SHED AND THIS GUY CUT CORNERS SO HE COULD TAKE THE EXTRA WOOD FOR HIMSELF.
