Description of Work: The water heater I was planning on replacing at the end of the month in preparation for selling the house broke before the scheduled replacement. My regular plumber was unfortunately completely booked up for almost a week and I had no hot water. So I hit Angie's List and found Kirkland. Called at 8:30 and they had someone here before 10:00. Discussed what I wanted in the replacement. He had to leave to get the unit but was back and had the new unit installed and brought up to code (the old one was not raised 18" off the ground) by noon. He was polite, punctual, and professional. I was quite glad to have the new unit in so quickly.

+ -1 moreKirkland Plumbing is highly recommended by us. Cameron is honest, prompt and does excellent work. He gave us a 1-year warranty on the labor performed and honored a $50 off coupon from Angie's List. We will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues.
Description of Work: Our hot water quit working on 15 Mar. I checked the hot water heater and water was collecting on top of it and the drip pan was 2/3 full. We found Kirkland Plumbing through Service Magic and saw that they had good reviews here. I called Cameron and he was already on a job but said he would stop by when finished. Two hours later he called to say he was on his way. Cameron looked at the 50-gallon gas hot water heater and pointed out the corrosion in and around it and said it needed to be replaced. He quoted us $750 and said he could install it the next day. He and an assistant showed up on time and installed it in a little over an hour and hauled the old one away.

+ -1 moreThese guys are GREAT! They were called at essentially the last minute and worked until well after dark on one day to meet a tight deadline. They were extremely professional and were almost half the price of other estimates. The thing I liked best about them was that they chose to dig the trench for the gas line by hand instead of possibly disrupting/cutting other cables on accident by doing it the easier way, (by machine). They worked hard and finished well within our timeline. Later in the month they arrived (again, a last minute request) and installed a fire pit apparatus for us. I will definitely call them again in the future and will also recommend them to our friends and family as well.

+ -1 moreOut hot water heater died on Friday night. The pilot light was off and would not stay relit. I called at 8:30 am on Saturday morning, they said they would be there at 10:30 am and they were. They finished quickly and they were even running a $20 discount on the regular fee. I have dealt with other companies that charge large surcharges on weekends and still take forever to arrive. Kirkland was quick and courteous and not overpriced. Great experience.

+ -1 moreFantastic from beginning to end! It was easy to set up an appointment. I feel that I got a good deal for my money. As for the job itself, Cameron Kirkland and co-plumber (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) did a great job! They were punctual, professional, and good communicators. When they ran short a part to complete one of my (non-immediate need) projects, they made arrangements with me to come back to finish the job at a time that was convenient for me and did not charge me a service call fee for the return visit. On the second visit, they took the extra step to hook up my ice dispenser - a request I sprang on them last minute. They also offered a second opinion on another, labor intensive project I will need to have done sometime in the future. Yes, I will use them again and refer them to my friends in need of a good plumber!
Description of Work: For my intermediate level kitchen remodel, I hired Kirkland Plumbing to plumb my new sink, install a new faucet and garbage disposal, reroute copper wiring through the ceiling, and hook-up an ice dispenser.

+ -1 moreI called in the early afternoon and spoke with Cameron, who was very polite and professional. He gave me an estimate and called me back within half an hour with the time to expect him the same day. They arrived on time and went to work immediately to drain and remove the old water heater from a very tight space in the kitchen. They determined they would need to construct a small platform and install a drip pan and left to get materials for that. They were back very quickly and completed the installation and also cleaned up the area they were working in. The final price was less than their estimate, even though they had to go and purchase other materials. I was VERY satisfied with their work and their prices were less than other plumbers and home improvement stores that we spoke with. The water heater that was installed was a Bradford White, which is the same brand that we had that had lasted over 12 years and we were pleased with that. I highly recommend this company and will definitely call them again if we need a plumber!

+ 0 moreMr. Kirkland was quick to respond to our call the morning of 2 Jan 2012, and arrived a little ahead of the appointment time that afternoon. He went right to work and had the clogged drain line cleared within about 30 minutes. He determined the clog was further down the line from the kitchen sink and had to access the drain pipe in the garage inside the hot water heater closet. He removed a part of the drain line to be able to snake it and ran the snake at least 30 feet. He replaced the part to the drain he removed with new material and was finished in record time. He felt confident that the blockage was removed, but told us to call him right away if we noticed slow drainage again and he would come back out and snake further down the line. We have not had any problems with the drainage since then. Very courteous and professional.
Description of Work: Cleared a clogged drain line from the kitchen. Cleared at least 30 feet of pipe.

Cameron returned my call within hours and showed up the next day on time to check out my problem, indicating I needed a new hot water heater. He gave me an estimate of $875-900 to install a 40 gallon Bradford White tank, including code upgrades, and scheduled to install the following day. Cameron and a helper showed up a couple minutes early the next morning, got right to work and were finished in just under 2 hrs. He showed me the damage that caused my water heater to need replacing (it luckily hadn't gone out completely yet) and then checked out and adjusted a potential issue I'd mentioned in another water heater. After invoicing me for $900, he honored the Angie's List coupon for $50 off a water heater installation when I'd asked about using it. They were great in getting the job done quickly and without charging more than they estimated, even saving me an additional $50 with the coupon. I would definitely call them again if needed.

Description of Work: Our old water heater (20 plus years) was leaking through the pressure relief valve and might have been fixed but we decided to just have a new heater installed. Checking Angie's list we noticed the favorable reviews from Kirkland plbg and gave them a call. Got a good installation time and estimate (way less than what I was expecting) that included heater and installation. The unit that was installed is, according to my research, a top of the line water heater from a reputable manufacturer (Bradley White). As to the work performed, Cameron and Kevin called to let me know that they would be about 15 minutes later than the time they had given me (I have waited on other professional people when they give me and arrival window of about 4 hours) and, sure enough, 15 minutes after 9 in the morning there they were. Installation of our water heater included bringing it up to code which required it to be elevated above the garage floor and so required some intricate replumbing and vent work. I can personally and truthfully say that the final product is a plumbers work of art, it is neat, organized and very accessible. I am very pleased. Now the whole thing may fall apart in a month or so but I doubt it, and if it does I've got a one year parts and labor guarantee. How long did all this take? About two and a half hours and only that long because they had to leave to get a part that they needed. Two fine young men who left a clean work area and a positive impression.

+ -1 moreWe had gotten a quote of $1,778.00 to replace our hot water heater from a plumber in NW OKC. That's when we decided to peruse Angie's List. We saw feedback from more than one customer of Kirkland Plumbing who had spent much less than $1,778.00 to replace their water heaters so we gave Kirkland Plumbing a call. Mr. Kirkland called back within the hour, came out the next day to give us a quote and completed the entire job the following day, all while coming in $25 under his quote of $900. Now, THAT's service! Our home was built in 1974 and had the hot water heater trapped by various gas lines and other pipes.

Mr. Kirkland came within 4 hours checked the water heater and suggested it be replaced, we agreed as it was a builders grade and the house is 12yrs old.
