I called You Move Me and described my problem. The lady in CS took my information, contacted the Tulsa Ok office and they worked out to help me same day..I was treated with kindness and respect through the whole process. Blake the young man was kind, polite and good communicator. This company treated me as kindly as if I had an entire house to move instead of a deep freeze... NOTE: had used this company to move me to my current location 2 yrs ago. They were great then as they were today...Strongly recommend them especially to single ladies. This is a company you can trust....
Description of Work: Had an emergency with my deep freeze. Needed someone to move the deep freeze so I could ck to see if water was pooled under it as it was seeping out around the bottom. This happened because I did not secure the door properly when placing items in it Sunday..

I was impressed with the good reviews for You Move Me plus the idea the owner was a Vet. The guy that helped me by phone quoted a price of $3000 +- 20% which seemed reasonable. I knew I had a lot to move but he insisted it could be done with 2 trucks. At the last minute I insisted they add a third truck at an added expense to me. They didn't show up at the appointed time, but were very professional and hard workers when they arrived. They worked until very late in the evening with few breaks. Unfortunately that was the last of the good review. I had several items that were extremely important to us that they not be damaged. Unfortunately, one was a dining room table that they dropped right in front of me and broke part of the leg off. They also scratched the top of the table. Many items they moved were scratched or damaged. They poked a hole in the sheetrock in the new house. They tracked something very dark and dirty onto our rugs throughout the house. They scratched paint on the banister going upstairs. A black refrigerator had scratches in the front door. An expensive floor lamp was scratched. A tool chest had the top crushed. All of the mattresses had dirt on the sides of them. One mattress even had a hole poked into it. A sideboard had the handle broken. A sofa table had the legs broken off. A dresser and bed were scratched. There were dirt marks put on the underside of area rugs. We continue to this day (2 months after move) finding things that were damaged. The final insult came when I was presented the bill. It was well over double what I was quoted! I recognize I had a bigger move than they anticipated, but they could have solved that prior to the move by coming out and giving a good estimate. As it was, we negotiated a settlement that was still TWICE what was quoted. Now to be fair, they did arrange to have things repaired, at their cost, that were damaged and that person did an excellent job. However, there were certain things that couldn't be fixed. The final thing was their representative told me they would move my mowers and gas cans plus my propane tanks. I got to my new location and was missing these items and asked about them. I was told they were left at my previous home (100 miles away) as they were not allowed to move them! Great time to tell me!! The owner of You Move Me came out to look at some of the damage and basically passed it off as normal moving damage. I was not at home at the time, but my wife was almost offended by his visit. A lot of the damage was caused by new employees and their lack of knowledge of how to handle furniture. Also the person making the quote to me has been replaced now from what I heard. Unfortunately I was the one that paid dearly for their inexperience and poor employees.

I had contacted this company because I needed help moving a couple of large items to my new home. When they first showed up, I told them that my leather reclining sofas and king size bed were main priority. They started loading stuff and one of the guys wasn't even doing anything half the time. He spent majority of his time in the truck so it took way longer than it should've. After they get it loaded, we head to my new home, two miles down the road. Once we got there, that is when all of the issues started happening. While moving in my furniture, the toon chunks out of my leather couch. The hit the thermostat in the house where fuses were hanging out so the ac stopped working. They scraped my floor and now there are gouges in it. The hit my wall and huge chunks have came out. After all of this happened, they give me the bill and it's triple what they had quoted me on the phone, due to laziness. I told the guy that they would need to fix all of these issues and he immediately got an attitude and became rude. He called his manager and started talking badly about me, right in front of me. As well as cussing. Talk about unprofessionally. I talked to the "manager" and he didn't seem to care about any of my issues. He sided with the driver. He told me someone would be out to fix my issues but I still haven't heard from them. What a disappointment. I'll never use them again.

Went very well. Three men were provided instead of two for no extra charge (they were training an employee), so that helped it get done faster. It was a very hot day and all three men were VERY focused and hard working - and barely took any breaks (I tried to get them to take breaks and they wouldn't!). They wrapped every piece of furniture, provided all the wardrobe boxes I needed and delivered new med and small boxes, too. The only snag occurred related to a bed and how to take it apart and there were a few scratches/nicks on furniture. They figured out the bed issue relatively quickly. Everyone associated with the company was very easy to work with. I'd definitely hire them again.

I did not know the fine print, and I had a little difficulty for them to accept the deals. I had bought 2 and they told me I could only use one per move. That didn't make me real happy that I had to argue about it, and they finally accepted it on one move. Other than that I wasn't totally with their service, but I wasn't totally unhappy. Moving is frantic and it was an 8 hour process and everybody kind of got tired towards the end of the day, and it got sloppy. I had a much bigger job than the big deal. They came out within a couple of days to give me a quote on the entire move. They sent me 3 trucks, there were 8 guys, and they were here for 8 hours. They took the value that the big deal was worth and reduced my total bill, instead of trying to figure out the cost. I don't know if I got a super good deal, I think I got the going rate. I am a real estate agent, and I don't think I will recommend them to any of my potential clients. Several of their employees were really good and accommodating, and a couple of them were hideous. There was one who I just didn't like. All of them would ask me to use the toilet, and he just used it, and I had paintings in the bathroom, and he missed those.

We had a good experience with You Move Me of Broken Arrow. I was involved in a transfer with my company, received several competitive bids, and found You Move Me to be competitive. They showed up on time to pack up our belongings, and did a good job of protecting our items. They showed up on time on loading and moving day, and delivered our possessions as promised. We had one small item that was damaged, and the company took care of the repair as expected. Overall, we were very pleased.

Let me begin my stating that I am usually the last to ever post a negative review on social media. I used this company to move into my condo in April of 2015 and had a wonderful experience. I can not say enough about how punctual, polite, hard working, and efficient the first pair of guys were. I work for a local builder and had recommended You Move Me several times because of the positive experience I'd had. I decided to build a house myself, and move back in with my parents until the build is complete. I of course hired You Move Me, and didn't even look elsewhere. Unfortunately, this experience was definitely drastically different than the first. Where do I begin??? My movers called to say they were on their way, and showed up 20 minutes late. Once they arrived and began loading things, I instantly notice the lack of care being given to my things. Boxes marked "fragile" were being taken down the stairs several at a time on a dolly, and I could hear them slamming at every step. I was less than pleased, but just wanted to get the move finished. Once we arrived to my parents house, (only 4.5 mi), they began to unload the truck. They got it unloaded fairly quickly, and presented me with the bill. I was caught off guard by the $50 transportation fee and the fact that it was slightly more expensive than my first move, but they assured me that this was a new fee because "prices have gone up". Ok. I was fine with that. The following day, once I got the chance to inspect my furniture, I noticed significant damage to a leather futon that I'd had moved. This piece of furniture was BRAND new and had not been used. I'd purchased it as a gift for my nephew, and my sister was scheduled to pick it up that week. There were not only multiple (4) tears along the bottom (which could have been patched up), but also a large gash about two and a half inches wide on the armrest. I went to several local fabric stores to see if they had some kind of leather adhesive that would repair this tear, but because of the location of it, I was made aware that there was no way this piece of furniture would be repaired to look "new" again. There would be some evidence left of repair, regardless of what was used to repair it. I wish Angie's list had a place in their review section for pictures!! I instantly called You Move Me and filed a report. I almost immediately after getting off the phone received an email from Brock Alessandro in their corporate office apologizing for my experience, requesting pictures, and informing me that I would be contacted by the manager of the local office. Within 5 minutes of THAT email I was in fact contacted by the local owner who apologized for my unsatisfactory experience who also requested pictures, and after reviewing the damage, said he would have Jason, someone they use to repair furniture, contact me about fixing the issue. I was super thrilled that my issue had been responded to with such promptness, and was assured I would be taken care of. Well, in over two weeks since the incident, I've heard nothing else regarding my claim from anyone at You Move Me. I sent Brock a follow up email requesting an update, but that email was ignored. Jason finally did contact me on Friday the 18th of March, and communicated that the lack of contact was his fault, and also that although he does repair work, validated that he could not repair the leather to appear new again based on the pictures that had been sent to him. He said he would be contacting the local owner to let him know, but that was obviously several days ago and I still have yet to receive any further communication. I assume I could call the local owner again and demand a refund/replacement however, this experience has been unpleasant enough, and I'd rather just let others know that if you've used this company in the past and had a stellar experience like I did...this is no longer the case.

I was scheduled for 10 am to 12 (2 hour block). They charge time starting from when they leave the business to the time they get back. about 10 minutes to pick up 5 minutes to drop off point and then 10 more for the trip back to their shop. so that is 25 minutes of my paid 2 hours. after that they charge for every 15 minutes. I live about 6 miles from the storage unit and told them that i would be there waiting for them. I was called around 9:30 and told they were running an hour behind. I asked "does that mean you will be here at 10:30 or 11." The guy tells me "yeah", i asked again and he replies "yeah" again. i guess we had a bad connection. So, I surmised that since I had a 10 am appointment and they are running an hour behind that it meant that they would be at the storage unit at 11am; an hour after my appointment. so about 10:40 i was called and asked where i was and that they had been waiting for about 20 min. (why not call me way before 20 min. since your guy told me an hour behind!) I didn't want to argue the ridiculousness of the situation they put me in so i rushed over and let them in. there were only about 6 piece of big furniture that i could not load by myself and two boxes in the unit. it seemed to take forever to wrap and load the 6 pieces of furniture (that was because I lost so much time and i was a clock watcher). they were able to load everything and deliver it with no extra time needed (whew) they unloaded and placed the furniture where we wanted it. Great Job and Nice guys.

First of all, I have moved all over the country and abroad and have experienced many, many moving companies. Never before did I experience the most professional, most polite and the quickest unpack in my history of moving! It was like these guys were in a race to see how quickly they could unpack the truck so we could get on with our lives. They did their job in the middle of the hottest summer day and they never quit. I just sat back and watched in amazement!

My first score was an Angie's List deal of two hours for the price of a little under one hour with We Move You. Since I am new to Angie's List I was not 100% sure if I booked the move ahead of time or after I clicked to pay for the deal. (As it turns out the deal offered both options so I was able to mark that I had already scheduled my move and when it was scheduled.) When I called the office of We Move You, Leah was very professional, helped me arrange a time and explained the process. She immediately sent me an email with the information and contact person who would be managing the move. I also received a second email confirming the move and another email verifying my Angie's List deal. The day before the move I received a phone call from Andrew (my contact for the move) verifying time and also offering me an earlier time. I needed to retain the original time but really appreciated the option as I would have preferred the new time offered had it fit my schedule. The day of the move, Andrew called to give me an update and to let me know everything was on schedule. I was told to expect another call closer to that time from the "lead" for my move (Victor) to give me a more accurate time of arrival. Victor called and said they would arrive around 3:30 p.m. They arrived exactly when they said they would in Catoosa, Oklahoma and the two gentlemen were very personable and very professional. They treated the items with care and safely delivered them to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. What a fantastic move this was! While it was only a small move, neither my husband nor I would have been able to move the heavy object up a set of stairs, down a long ramp and onto a truck, then offload to the new location. We really appreciated the continuous communication, the friendly and helpful spirit of all involved and the professionalism of the entire team! I would not hesitate to call We Move You again!

We were not terribly impressed with the professionalism of this company, but the price was reasonable with a coupon through Angie's List, and they did a decent job actually moving the items. However, the young men were extremely young and inexperienced and showed up almost one hour late in a rented truck. It also seemed rather unprofessional that they did not provide my daughter with a copy of the contract (electronic, done on an iPad) she signed or any documentation until she explicitly asked.

Response from You Move Me
Dear Angie's List Customers, Thanks for the great feed back! We love to hear what you think and how we can improve. We always strive to provide great movers and this team of guys working this job were 3 that are fast becoming some of the best in Tulsa. Two of them are back in college after a hard summer of working and learning and will return in 2016. The team leader has been moving for 4 years and learns something new every day. On all our jobs we send out a confirmation email which explains the 2 hour promise promise time. For this move it was from 8-10am and the contract was signed at 908am. During the summer we do rent trucks during the peak time of moving season. We own over 10 of our own trucks but to manage the surge of summer it is best to rent trucks for this busy times not own more trucks that sit in our parking lot most of the year. This helps us keep the price down for our great customers by keeping expenses as low,as possible. We never have move than 10% rental trucks compare or owned vehicles. We have also become a paperless company. That means we have our contract and invoices all on a iPad and can email them directly to the customer at the time of their transaction. When requested we are happy to mail a paper copy or provide one onsite that day. We want to be the best and the only way we can do that is when our customers let us know how we are doing ! If anyone ever wants to talk to me directly my direct number is 918-284-6854. We completed over 3000 moves in the last year but I always have time to talk to our customers !! Respectfully, Andrew

Went very well! The gentlemen who moved me were very professional and friendly. Took great care of all of my belongings! Wasn't worried about a thing while they were there. I would definitely recommend them to friends in the future and would use them again myself!
Description of Work: They did a great job! Very professional and careful with all of my belongings. Set up a move date almost immediately! The only downside, which I wish the person who made the appt could have given me a heads up on... is that I definitely needed the 3 hour service coupon and not the 2 hour because I ended having more stuff and it costs me an extra hour of work. I even told them everything I had on the initial call. Other than that, I'm very pleased with their services!

You Move Me is my first call when I need furniture moved around my house or from one location to another. I'm a Realtor, and my home stager often needs furniture moved from her warehouse to a property, then to another property - we always hire Andrew's team. His workers are smart about packing and moving - very efficient and professional, courteous and enthusiastic. They always get done faster than I expect and I ALWAYS feel like I got my money's worth. My clients rave about You Move Me as well!

The two people from You Move Me loaded and unloaded quickly. There were extra fees for transporting and dumping. I can understand the dumping fee. But how can a moving company move your household goods without transporting them. I assumed when I hired the provider, transportation was included. I also had to pay a separate fee to the disposal site for dumping. All the loading, moving, and dumping was done within a couple of hours.

Response from You Move Me
Dear Angie's List Customers. We moved Robert last year. He was a great customer! We tired our best to go above and beyond for Robert. The team moved him very quickly and requested to take some items to the dump for Robert. The team received clearance to go to the dump to help him with his challenge on move day even though this is not a normal service which is provided in our moving trucks. As with all of our deals sold on Angie's List last year the time for your move started once we left our office and ended once we returned or we gave the customer the option to pay our normal $50 travel fee which in reality worked out to be a better deal for Robert. After reading this review I spoke to Robert today and thanked him for his business. I explained how we charge once again and informed him due to the confusion last year with Angie's List Deals we have changed the way we now structure the deal so there will be no confusion moving forward! If you now purchase the deals on Angie's List your time starts once we arrive and ends once we leave your home. Thanks again and we look forward to Moving many more Angie's List Customers in the near future!!

Provider sent two trucks and four staff who listened to instructions and then proceeded to do exactly what I asked them not to do - leave items on shelves when moving the shelves. It was a long day and they worked hard without stopping even when we asked them to take a break. When it started raining, I asked them to be careful and the leader said they were in a hurry and kept going even when another staffer protested about loading with a slick ramp to the truck. The two trucks were loaded and finished unloading at 9 pm. When they were being paid, I examined the trucks and there were boxes on the one truck. I asked why there were still boxes and the leader said they were dropping those off for someone else. I had several people working that day and we double checked after the old location was loaded out and the space was empty. The new location was stacked full by the time the two trucks were unloaded. I left for vacation before the boxes could be unpacked but the office was secure with a new alarm system and no one went in or out. When we did unpack after the vacation, two large tool cases were missing complete with all the contents. I called Andrew but they dismissed it because we did not discover it the next day. In fact, he practically accused me of making it up. Or indicated that my employee could have taken it - even though the alarm system records all entries. Per their instructions, I filed a police report but of course, it was not a priority and nothing ever came of it. It was never settled because they wouldn't admit that their employees could have taken them. There just wasn't any other answer except that one or more of them "misplaced" the toolkits and the items or that they were in the "boxes" still left on the truck. I would never use them again. They did damage two items and offer to pay for them.
Description of Work: Moved a large amount of items for my business from one side of town to the other side of town.

Response from You Move Me
Dear Angie’s List Customers, On May 27, 2014 You Move Me moved Lasting Impressions a wedding and event planning company owned by [Member's name removed]. I personally conducted the estimate of her office / warehouse space move as the owner of You Move Me and specifically handpicked the crew lead and members for this move. It was going to be a very challenging move as she wanted the entire office moved in 1 day, she was not entirely packed and ready, she wanted items picked up at her house in addition to the office, and the move was being scheduled with short notice. With all this in consideration we made a plan and for the most part had a very successful move. [Member's name removed]ey suggests in her review that she spent $3000. This is one of the first inaccuracies of her review. She only spent $2044. When I called to discuss this review with her she stated that she didn’t remember what she spent but she did remember that she tipped very well. It was a very rainy day and the crew worked very hard and long to complete her move. At the end of her move she was happy and rewarded the crew with a substantial tip as a reward. As always with any move, we conduct a quick post move review with the crew, we review sustains and improves for each move, we inventory the truck to make sure nothing is left in the truck that belongs to the customer and to ensure we didn’t leave any of our equipment behind. At the end of the move everything checked out. The truck was in order, the customer was happy and paid her bill and crew was tired but very happy as they were rewarded by [Member's name removed]for a job well done with good tip. Weeks after the move [Member's name removed]called us to check if we had seem a Makeup tool kit and another tool case that she was missing after the move. The first questions we asked of course was when was the last time she had seem the items. She stated that she had been on vacation since the move and was not sure. We were very concerned but confident there had to be a simple answer as our crew was very senior, the trucks are always checked at the end of each day and we can track trucks movements via GPS as an extra safety and security measure. You Move Me never dismissed [Member's name removed] Claim or accused her of making up the missing items. What we did do is conducted a very thorough internal investigation, looked at all the facts available, considered the stellar work history of the crew at You Move Me and prior to them coming to our company and made the best decision we could based on the information available. We offered to assist in any way possible with the investigation with the police. At the end of the day we were never contacted by the police. Once we were made aware of this situation which was weeks after the move we immediately sent over a manger to help[Member's name removed] look through her new warehouse which was still not completely unpacked or organized. We assessed 3 small items that were damaged which included a light pole, bar stool and a metal shelve. We offered her in writing on July 9, 2014 a payment for the 2 items which could not be repaired that was above and beyond the $.60 per lbs required by the contract which was signed by both parties at the start of the move. The shelve unit just needed to be bent back into place. After getting a call form [Member's name removed]weeks after the move we did everything we could to try to help her find an answer to her issues. I personally spoke to [Member's name removed]over 15 times since this event took place, exchanged multiple email, multiple times have engaged her in conversation regarding this situation and to this day stand ready to go above and beyond our contract to find a solution with [Member's name removed]. She was a great customer and we loved helping her move. It was a challenging situation and regardless of the time that has passed I am still here to help her find a solution to her issue. I spoke to [Member's name removed]yesterday which is the first time in almost 10 months but our commitment to her as our customer has not changed. My direct cell phone is 918-284-6854. I am available to speak to her anytime or anyone who would like more information about this event. Our commitment to providing exceptional customer service is 2nd to none. We stand by our crews and the work we preform 100%. Even though this move happened over a year ago I personally stand ready to help in anyway I can to find a solution to [Member's name removed]problems. At You Move Me our Mission is to Move People, not just their boxes!
