You Move Me

The move went really well. I was located out of town, but they were able to meet a friend at the storage unit and get the items. They were in good contact prior to the move and during the move. I thought the price was a little high, but it really was fair.

It turned out great. The people were on time and very nice. They moved me for a local move. They did charge a truck fee, but they told me that before the move. It was reasonable.

It was great. Their communication was excellent. They worked very hard. There was a lot of heavy stuff. They were friendly and good to work with.

This company has to be the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. All of my previous moves have been completed by the military contractors ( I am a disabled veteran), so this was the first time I ever had to hire a moving company myself. Now to the move. The guy over the phone told me the job should take no longer than five hours since there were only four rooms left to pack. We agreed on that and that it would cost around $800 IF they used their materials. The movers showed up late to begin with, they did not have enough materials to complete the job, constantly took smoke breaks when I had to leave to get the materials they did not plan ahead for to do the job, and it took them over twelve (12 hours) to complete the job. Well, the manager and another guy came to replace the first two guys. That is not even the worst of what happened. A five year old, my five year, knows you cannot stack certain things on top of others. You need to build a good foundation or base to start. Unfortunately, these guys (the first two) could not grasp this very simple concept. I had to explain to them on at least five (5) separate occasions that you cannot stack an extra large box on top of a small crate on top of a lawn mover and throw a laundry basket on that. If that sounds crazy, well it is, and that is not even the worst of how they packed the 26 foot truck. The manager and next guy had to unpack two-thirds (2/3) of the truck just to get it half way decent. Most of my boxes were ruined because of their gross incompetence and laziness. I do have both pictures and video that show their work and lack of professionalism. So, I contacted the owner and he constantly offered excuses. Even after the move I found more issues. One of the guys punctured the box spring of my Tempurpedic mattress. When I called the owner he tried to explain to me why it must have been my fault, then told me the manager would contact me. Of course that never happened. Would I recommend them to you? Not even if you were my worst enemy. Not even if they were going to move you for free. Not even if they were the very last people available to move you. If you value your things look elsewhere. It is not worth it to take a chance with these guys. They will give you nothing but excuses then expect all of their money. And no, I did not pay them for over 12 (twelve) hours of lollygagging. I paid them for the five (5) we agreed on. Now, had I used their truck instead of renting my own, they would have held my possessions hostage until I paid them their ransom. Look elsewhere.

The price was what I was quoted. It went super.

I spent $300. It was all good, they did a good job in packing and everything reached safe. They were efficient an professional.

The move was better than expected. The movers showed up on time, listened to my objectives, and went into action. They worked steadily and efficiently. The move was completed within the 2 hour time frame that I had purchased. I appreciate their friendliness and cooperation in organizing my storage unit for later access. The only thing that was frustrating was the appointment process. In order to buy the deal, I had to fill out several questions on the internet. I then received an e-mail to call the company. I called the company and had to answer all the same questions again. That is frustrating to me and I don't know why I had to waste my time answering all the questions on the internet in order to call it in. Also I had to pay a $50 travel charge. That charge was in the fine print and I didn't mind paying it, but it would be nice to pay everything at one time.

They were very professional, quick, and courteous. I will certainly use them in the future! The only diappointment was a truck charge of $50 when they only went 6 blocks. However, it is what they charge for the use of the truck so it is what it is. I think that could have been waived in such a small short job, but I did not even bring it up to the movers. They were still over $100 cheaper than other movers in the area.

They were great and they did a good job. They are respectful and they took care of our stuff.

Overall, the move went very well. The office was always responsive as we were preparing for the move. We had three movers who were punctual, professional, courteous and hard-working. The only criticism I have is they ran out of "bubble" packing material and we had some minor damage as a result (a few abrasions & nicks on furniture).

We had a wonderful experience, it could not have gone better! The price was amazing for the level of service provided!

Toby and Brandon got to our apartment 20 minutes early and got started right away. Our major complaint is that they simply were not as careful as the rave reviews I had gotten from a couple of colleagues. We have IKEA type furniture that has been moved numerous times without incident. This time we have dings and scrapes not only on the furniture but also on the walls and trim (which had just been painted!). We had to encourage them to shrink wrap some of the furniture. My sister has three 3ft cabinets she has moved five times across the US without incident. In the past these cabinets have been moved with the doors off and shelves taken out. You Move Me moved them with the doors and shelves in place. As a result of the tumbling of the shelves as they were taken downstairs, the backing split and now gaps. Unfortunately, this is visible through the glass front doors. Toby was patient and helpful, but Brandon just wanted to get the job done whether carefully or not. He told me that our type of furniture was flimsy and did not seem concerned when both chest of drawers became rickety due to the back being torn loose in several places. The fact that one side of the chest of drawers was coming apart was "alright" because the side was still on the dowel. Neither had a level to help level a cabinet with a top and bottom section. Again Brandon said that the small level we had was not sufficient to really know that something was level and anyway older homes have uneven floors. The fact that there were leveling feet did not seem to make a difference to him. Finally, when I called to book the appointment I mentioned the 15% off Mon to Thurs coupon we had found in a ValuPak mailing. I called before the coupon expired, but our move was after the coupon expiration date. Paul, the estimator, said that he would honor the coupon on our move date, but it was NOT honored. We did receive a 10% discount, but I am not happy that the estimator's promise was not honored. Update: Though YouMoveMe sent us an email within a day to ask about our experience and what they could do to make things right, I did not hear back from them. I finally called customer service after six days and was referred back to the local company. They said that they had been very busy over the first of the month and that we were on a list to call even though they were aware that we were unhappy with the move as he made a comment about our furniture being stapled on the back. I told him that that was simply not the case as the damaged tall bookcases had grooves for the backing. They arranged to come out to see the damage the following week, which meant that I still could not unpack our many boxes of books. When Jay came out, it was pretty obvious that there had been a number of complaints about Brandon, a fairly new employee, that week. Jay was appreciative of the feedback (and I understand this as I hire staff also) and wanted to make sure that things were made right. He also explained to me that they could not honor the 15% discount (even though several others apparently had this same problem), as the coupon had expired and their franchise was not offering that discount at the time of our move. I chose to let this issue go. Apparently there is not very good communication with the national call center and this franchise. I told him that as long as the damage was repaired, I would revise my comments on Angies List. After seeing the damage, Jay quickly decided he could not handle the repairs himself and promised that Jason, furniture repair man, would contact me that day. Jason did call that day and we arranged for him to come out at the end of the week. Jason asked me to send him pictures of the damage so he could bring the needed materials. After seeing the pictures of tall bookcases, he arranged to have another man from YouMoveMe join him in case he needed help with them. He came on time, did a fabulous job on the repairs, and left me feeling MUCH better about the outcome of the move.

We have moved a lot and I have never had such an amazing experience. Felix and Chris are the best movers. When we moved into our house it took other people 6hrs. Felix and Chris got us moved in 2hrs. I was so shocked at how fast and professional they were. They were extremely friendly and went above and beyond what any other movers have ever done for us. Our bed was broken in our last Move and they fixed our bed for free just because there awesome like that. They took Apart 2 beds and put back together all within the 2 hrs. I'm still amazed at how they did it so fast but I'm so glad we went with them. Ask for Felix and Chris if you move. You won't regret it. Thank you guys for such an awesome job :)

Chris and Billy were extremely professional, very punctual, and I was very impressed by everything about their services and the way they represented their company and themselves. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. I can't say enough great things about this comany!!!

The guys were right on time, introduced themselves and got right to work. They loaded everything up onto their truck, and unloaded everything right where I wanted it. They were even cool enough to hold up the furniture so I could put felt pads on the bottom to keep my floor from getting scratched! Great experience, would definitely use them again.

Arrived on time. Discussed the job and went to work. Felix & Chris are first rate. Our only issue was that Chris screamed like a girl when he saw a spider that had made a home in the storage unit. Owner was called upon to dispatch the offending critter without farther incident. Great Job!! Very fair price.

The packers were very careful with my mom's belongings. The move went very smoothly.

They did a wonderful job. The manager, Jay, called and confirming the appoint and called after to make sure I was satisfied. He was very thorough in his follow up before and after the appointment.

Other than being an hour and a half late due to a problem with the truck which was beyond their control, they did a great job and were professional and efficient as well as careful with my belongings. I was so impressed with Chris and Skyler that two weeks later I hired them to move five offices for my employer. Unfortunately, Chris was not able to be involved in that move, but they sent Skyler and Billy and they did a satisfactory job as well. They were friendly and made me feel comfortable with their experience at moving heavy, bulky furniture without any problems.

Dejon, Lakeith, and Terrance were a pleasure to work with. They called before they went to the storage location, as well as when they were on their way to our home. From the minute they walked in the door to check out the logistics of moving various items to the desired location, they removed all traces of stress we may have been experiencing. They worked quickly and carefully, not letting us lift a finger. Rain had been forecast (and came), but there was no dirt on the carpet, as they had laid down runners everywhere. No damage was done to furniture or trim or walls - that's how careful they were. Definitely a positive experience.

We have moved quite a few times in our 30 years of marriage, and this ranks at least in the top two moving experiences we've had. Andrew (the owner) came out to do the estimate, and the price quoted was well under any other estimates we got. He e-mailed me a copy of the quote along with a copy of their contract, and the contract was in clear, plain language. On the day of the move, our crew of four men (Wes, Tony and the McGee brothers) showed up on time and ready to to work. The work went quickly and smoothly, and even though the house had a couple of tricky corners they took it in stride. Midway through the morning, their manager (Jay) came by to check on progress. I don't think I've ever had that happen in any other move. At the other end of the move, some of the heaviest furniture had to go upsstairs, and again there was no question that it would get done, and it was done cheerfully. I can't say enough about the crew. Finally, when it came to tally the bill, it was within $100 of the quote.. another first for us. All in all, these guys are the ones to call in Tulsa.

The were incredible. They were veteran owned and i liked that. They kept constant communication though out bad weather. They came all the way out to my area and i was jazzed.

The movers that were supposed to show up to help us didnt. We Move You was working a couple of streets over and happened to drive up and ask if we needed help unloading. Felix, Chris and Billy saved the day for us. They were the best!!! They unloaded our truck quickly and professionally. They even helped us hook up our washer, dryer and refrigerator. I can not say enough good things about them. They really saved us. I highly recommend them.

Excellent experience all around. From initial quote by the owner and GM using their ipads to instantly email information, angie's list 15% discount and great service throughout the move. They brought wardrobe boxes that we used for free during the move that saved big bucks. The crew was on time and very professional. They asked several times during the day how the move was going and anything they need to do differently. They were VERY fast and hard working yet took great care with our belongings. Our crew was Tony, Zach, KaKeith and Dejon and they were AWESOME. Would highly recommend to friends and family and would use again.

Lakeith and his brother were outstanding. Quick, careful, efficient, and friendly.
