You Move Me

Fantastic. The project was very well managed from their corporate office. The two guys that came out to do the move were awesome. They did a great job in a really short period of time and were very nice and professional in the process. They had all the right equipment and a new truck that really made loading and unloading go smoothly. The cost of the move was less than 50% compared against quotes from more traditional moving services in the area who had quoted as high as $950 for the same service. Will definitely use this company again.

We had a horrible experience with You Move Me. We could never recommend them. They destroyed our stainless steel refrigerator. It is now covered with scratches, dents, bends and dings. They removed the doors and then reinstalled them crooked. It?s unusable ? a $2,300 Samsung destroyed by You Move Me. They also lost a $200 mirror. The first offered us a $150; we complained then they offered us $300. It was an insulting offer. And it took them weeks to get to this offer, and we had to keep calling and emailing them. Don?t use You Move Me.

The move went smoothly. They were professional yet personable. The 2 guys showed up on time and were efficient and mindful of the walls and corners as they moved our furniture from our second floor apartment. We had moved all of the little items already, but they had everything loaded in ~ 45 minutes. They unloaded us in the same amount of time and again were watchful for any potential wall/corner problems. They even helped me move a few items from other rooms. Our total time was ~ 2.5 hours so with the Angie's List coupon of 2 hours for $139, their service was an excellent value. I would hire them in the future. Thanks guys for helping to make our move less stressful!

Move went well. They were on-time and very professional. I am using the firm again in the next few months to unload a moving truck from Texas with the remainder of my furniture and belongings. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a timely moving experience by professionals who exercise care with your property and try to do their best for you.

We had been looking all over OKC to find a well priced, well reviewed moving company that didn't have hidden fees. Moving is stressful and costly enough an no one wants hidden charges when paying for a moving service. You Move Me was flexible on the dates and time we needed to use their services. The guys showed up at our house at the agreed upon time and did an initial walk through to see what all we needed moved. The guys were professional, courteous and willing to do whatever we asked to make us feel that our furniture would be moved safely and securely. All materials were included: shrink wrap, moving blankets, tape and any tools needed to disassemble and move our furniture. The best part about You Move Me is that $50 flat rate travel time, most other companies will charge you a full hour for travel which can be anywhere from $100-$200 depending on how many movers you are using. If you are looking for reliable fairly priced movers then give You Move Me a chance to quote your move.

This was the second half of a move for us. The first part, moving from our house in Tulsa to the apartment, went pretty well. This time, we had only two movers instead of the three we had the first move, and neither of them was very professional. By the end of a long day, after two trips, they still were not finished and were exhausted and struggling. One of the guys was a chain smoker and "spitter," which we didn't appreciate. They came back the next Monday to finish, but even refreshed, they weren't a whole lot more careful. We had damaged and broken items. When they weren't resting they were working in a very big hurry, and they left several things for us to deal with. For example, they did not remove all the wrapping. The mattress and box springs on the guest room bed were still wrapped in plastic for us to deal with. Other items also still had shrink wrap left on. They didn't put the little wheels back on the feet of an antique dresser, nor correctly reattach the mirror. We did request a couple different guys come back to reposition two pieces of furniture. We offered to pay them, but were told there was no charge. We showed them the broken and damaged items and were assured they would be taken care of. We never heard back from the manager. We eventually called and asked that he stop by. We again expressed our dissatisfaction and said we'd like to have the damaged antique library table repaired. The other damages weren't as troubling to us. The manager said because he'd sent guys out to move a couple of furniture pieces, he now wouldn't accept a claim for damages. Or we could pay $145 for the previous trip. In retrospect, I wish we'd have paid the $145, but I was angry and just wanted to be done with the company. I am sorry to say we can not recommend them and would never use them again. Their service is simply inconsistent.

It went very well! When the guys arrived their work order was incorrect - making it appear as if the move was from 2 apartments in Norman, to a house also in Norman, Ok. After the customer informed them of the correct location, they took it in stride and just kept working. They had to move furniture from upstairs, down a steep flight of steps and outside to the truck. Then, when it arrived at the new location, much of the same furniture had to go back up stairs to the bedrooms again. They were polite, careful with the furniture and the walls, and cheerful all while doing a lot of very heavy lifting and carrying up and downstairs.

They were one time, professional, and very nice.

The guys that came out were very professional. I explained I wanted extra care when moving into the new home. The home had wood floors and was brand new. They used extra care and did everything they could to prevent damage. I did have 2 minor scratches but easily repairable. They wrapped everything appropriately and laid runners down on the wood floor. They took things apart and put them back together without any damage. These guys were great. They worked 8 hours straight and I brought them lunch they worked so hard.

I asked them to pick up some extra bookcases at my sister's house to include with the move. All the items were placed upstairs in my condo. No big problems. It was difficult moving out of my office because of the office bldg.'s rules and regulations with which the movers were unfamiliar and their supervisor had to be called at one point, but the job was accomplished.

They worked hard and had good attitudes.

They did a decent job. However, it seemed like the movers were taking their time to bump up the price. We had eight people there to help with the moving and each of them moved more stuff than the movers did. We had absolutely everything boxed up and taken apart before they arrived, so they should have been able to move really fast. Our friends were there to get the job done quickly, but it seemed like the movers were there to make money and it showed in their performance. The owner is very respectful and professional.

The 2 guys that came were very friendly and most willing to do whatever was needed for the move from my house in Owasso to my new residence in Jenks. I have concerns because the back of my washer was broke when arrived at new house. I discovered it along with one of the guys. Nothing done to repair it.......After the movers left I discovered that one of my antique tables had broken pieces....I understand things happen what bothers me is that the broken table was not brought to my attention plus the washer. I realize things happen when moving, I could overlook the washer. BUT, when I found the antique table, in a corner, broken and no one told me only laid the broken pieces on a shelf on the table. That just made me angry.

Trey and Troy were my movers. They were on time, professional, and speedy workers. Both of them were very careful of my items. I have a future move coming up and I am going call them to do that move for me. I would recommend is company.

The scheduling process was fast and easy. Kyle and Gavin showed up exactly when they were supposed to, and were very friendly and courteous. They worked fast, but took great care of every piece of furniture. I'm going to ask for the, specifically when it's time to move back into the house. Excellent work and a fair price.

Scheduled service for a Sunday morning. Called when they were on their way and were very punctual. Came in and looked everything over and got to work. They did a very good job moving large items across some tricky corners and small hallways. They did make a pretty good dent and scratch in my entertainment center, but I saw it when it happened and it was an honest mistake, not because of lack of concentration or professionalism. I knew of the $50 truck/gas fee because of other reviews on here, but they never once made me aware of it themselves, they just said here's your total and just included it with it. If I did not know about it beforehand because of Angie's List's customer's reviews I would have been very reluctant to pay it since nothing was said before about it. That is the only negative, service was great!

Unfortunately I let the coupon expire and was not able to use it. I have used them previously and would use them again - if I remember to use the coupon before expiration date!

I don't typically write reviews but I felt like I needed to write one for this company as I was soooooo happy with them. I called five days prior for a Labor Day weekend move and even though they were booked, they agreed to "work me in". I called the home office number and 'Moe' went room by room with me over the phone to determine how many men and trucks we would need. I think he underestimated the size of the truck as it took two trips but it was still completed within budget. Cedric and David arrived on time and loaded up the first truck, delivered to the new house, returned to load up a second (1/2) truck and returned to the new house to unload. It took a little longer than estimated but because they estimated high, it was still below what I had anticipated and well below two other estimates I had received. They moved some really large furniture without batting an eye and both houses were two stories with a significant amount of furniture on the second floor of each house. They didn't damage a single piece of my furniture or anything in either of my houses and took great care to make sure everything arrived in the original condition they found it. I just can't even praise these guys enough. They worked like crazy and even though exhausted by the last truck load, never slowed down a bit. The only thing I would suggest is that they make sure they tell people when booking that they do not accept checks. Fortunately I had a debit/credit card but some people may be caught off guard. I would also suggest that if you are making a long distance move, that a more exact determination of truck size and guys needed may be helpful. For me it was no issue as I was only moving a few miles away.

There were no additional costs and no troubles with scheduling. The cost for the Big Deal was a good price. The moving was okay. They finished the move in one hour and they wanted to leave early. The only thing was that I had to tell them to hook up the washer and dryer and assemble the bed which they did. Nothing was damaged in the move.

I needed a baby grand piano moved, they were not able to handled this. They were courteous when speaking with them, just a little slow in responding, I needed this done right away. I just ended up moving it myself.
