Total Care Housekeeping Services

We bought a coupon on Angie's list for $99, for 6 hours of house cleaning. In that 6 hours she got a lot done, but hadn't gotten to the Kitchen and Living room. So she said we could pay $25/hr for 2 more hours if we wanted. We thought that all together, at $149, we still got a very good deal. The company communicated well with us, and even followed up to make sure we were satisfied. I would definitely recommend them them, and plan on using them again.

Providers did a good job on what they did. My only complaint is that there were some obvious things that were overlooked (i.e. a toilet, the vent hood over the stove.) If I were to use them again, I would be certain that I was there to inspect rather than my husband.

My experience with them was A+. They were very detail oriented, and I would absolutely use them again.

Two housecleaners arrived to help my wife prepare for a Christmas party, since she recently had surgery. They ended up taking care of everything, cleaning our 4000 sf home very well, alleviating a lot of the pressure for preparing for guests. They were very professional and did a wonderful job.

Chelsie cleaned beyond my expectations. She stayed six hours and worked hard the entire time. I will definitely ask her back. My house has lots of trim and detail. Chelsie did an unbellievable job with her thorough cleaning. In the past I have tried numerous cleaning companies and have seldom asked them to return. Total Care Housekeeping Service is an exception. I will be hiring them again.

They were all very pleasant, never rude. Did the work quickly and efficiently. However. I had to pay an extra $20 each service because she said I was out of their service territory ( about 15 miles) but later learned that one of the cleaners lived in my town. When I had to cancel one day, I was told there was no other time that whole week, so I was going to have to pay them a cancellation fee. When I suggested that I had been pretty tolerant of the fact that my first housekeeper was fired for stealing from another customer ( and then later discovering two items of mine were missing) she tried to work out another time with me without a fee. But then I remembered that I had had to pay a fee for when she sent the housekeeper out twice in one week because she thought thats what biweekly meant. I was looking for every 2 weeks. Finally I decided I didnt want to continue - at all. There is no way to prove that something was taken and it could easily happen again so I decided to clean my own house. And I thought there were an awful lot of extra fees that popped up - ones I had never dealt with in any other housekeeping situation.

The two ladies were prompt, introduced themselves and got to work. Great job and our house smelled very nice when they were finished.

They were virtually perfect. The lady that came was extremely nice, hardworking and fun. I will use them again.

I purchased a special - 6 hours for $99 to do deep cleaning. I had a lot of family coming in for the holidays and needed help with light fixtures, baseboards, refrigerator, shower stall, kitchen floor and windows. I was asked to provide a list of tasks according to preference. To my surprise, the cleaning professional from Total Care, not only accomplished all the items on my list, but even did a lot of extra tasks. She was very nice, but focused and an expert time manager. I only wish I could get as much accomplished within a six hour window. I will definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Maria did a fine job and made it through the entire list before she finished. She never stopped (she said so up front) for lunch or took any breaks so, the delayed arrival was quickly forgotten, thus the "A." I (the husband) moved plants away from the windows and removed the fireplace glass doors but, she did the rest. The only weakness in the provided service related to tools. The small vacuum she brought wasn't powerful enough to really clean the carpet like we prefer so, we re-did those later. She didn't have a "Swiffer" or similar mop to clean/polish the wooden floors (we provided the mop and liquids). And, they primarily use non-allergic products (great idea) so, we provided bleach for the pre-clean Jacouzzi cycle. But, Maria worked hard and consistantly which let her finish on time and, everything was done well. My wife is OCD about her house so, she'd never say anyone did as good of a job as they should have. HA! Yes, I'd hire them again and, as I did this time, ignore my OCD wife ... who was forced to admit that, she enjoyed her time with guests more because she wasn't exhausted from getting everything ready.

They were hard workers and both were very sweet.

The job was completed on time and every single task was done.

There were 2 people for 3 hours. I wasn't sure if they could get all the floors as this was an Angie's List Special 6 hours for $99. I was looking forward to this as I had foot surgery the week before and it would be a while before I would be able to do anything. They arrived on time with all of their supplies ready to go to work. We had moved the furniture away from the windows for blind cleaning. They began at opposite ends of the house. In the master bath everything looked good except the toilet seat and lid were sticky, so I went over them with a sanitizing wipes. They each had a different style for cleaning blinds one woman did a better job. I went to another room whiled they cleaned the floors so I would be out of the way. I was disappointed as they did not ask us what to do about the furniture we moved out from the windows. So when came to the living room the couch and tv had not been returned to their place and it was dirty under them when my husband moved them. I would have appreciated it if they had asked about them or when I set the appointment the person would have told me they don"t move furniture my husband would have done it. I wanted the floors "scrubbed" they were mopped but not as clean as I would have expected. The company called me today to follow up and I explained the above. She was very understanding and said I wanted to use them again they would work out something with me. I would give them another try but I would make very very clear my expectations. The two cleaning people were very nice.

The day was scheduled for 6 hr deep cleaning but that morning the cleaning lady was sick. It wasn't possible to get another 6 hour slot before Christmas so I took a 3 hour one and will get another 3 hour one later. But I couldn't have been happier with the results. I am looking forward to the next 3 hour cleaning. I will be a regular customer.

Dorothy arrived on time at 9:15 and worked for 6 straight hours until 3:15 without even a lunch break! Hard worker, thorough and pleasant. She willingly gave priority to what I desired, and skipped what I asked her to skip. My home was sparkling for a neighborhood gathering I was hosting a couple of days later. It was wonderful and well worth the price! I should add that I originally was scheduled for Friday Dec 14, but the woman who was scheduled was not able to come that day, so the owner made sure I was covered for my Monday event by scheduling the Saturday cleaning. I really appreciated her willingness to find someone to clean on that day in such a busy season of the year. Good attention to taking care of someone who is not even "a regular".

She worked really hard to remove numerous stubborn stains, especially in the bathroom with the tub and the tile. Everything was left sparkling clean. We really appreciate the great job that she did.

I was not there when services were performed as original appointment was scheduled for Monday 11/19 and that appointment was cancelled on the morning of the scheduled appointment. Was a bit disappointed as I had made arrangements to be here but had to make other plans for next day when they did come. That was the reason for the score on responsiveness and professionalism. Two people came to perform the services and all services were performed satisfactorily except for a couple of things that they weren't able to reach ie all sides of ceiling fans, and ceiling lights. I made mention of this to the office manager and she said she will make sure that is taken care of on next visit on Jan 8th. Overall, I was pleased with the results.

The worker arrived on time and got right to work. She was very thorough, and stayed on task til the job was done.

The cleaning ladies arrived on time and went right to work, They were friendly and did not waste time. We are very pleased with the service and their employees.

Total Care Housekeeping Services did not show up as scheduled. I called them after 45 minutes. The house cleaning I scheduled a months ago is not going to happen today. The lady that answers the phone, she said she does not usually clean, offered to come clean for three hours instead of five. I declined. We do have a future date set, but I am so disappointed as I wanted the cleaning for Christmas. I pre-paid for this service. That was a mistake.

Had to reschedule service because of death in family - very courteous and worked with me in setting up new time...If cleaning is as excellent as responsiveness to changes/needs, will diffinately use. Thank you!

I contacted them to schedule my appointment and they returned my message very quickly and were able to schedule me as I needed. On the day of the appointment she showed up right on time and did a great job. It was so nice to come home to a clean house. I had never paid for a housecleaning service before so it was a rare treat and I think I'll do it more often now. THey told me ahead of time that if they had to spend more than 6 hours to clean the whole house they would call me and we'd decide whether to pay for another 1-2 hours or just quit where they were. The only problem I had was they went over an hour without contacting me. I had prioritized for her and would not have paid for an extra hour. But other than that I was very satisfied.
