+ -1 moreSteve showed up on time for the quote and sent it to me when he said he would. He performed the work in the time frame he gave me and was very nice. He cleaned up after himself and left the paint for us to use in the future.
Description of Work: Painting in 2 rooms, drywall repair and painting in stairway, and mold treatment on 1 wall.

+ -1 moreAs I said in my initial report, he was very pleasant, prompt and neat on the job. It was not an unpleasant experience, however, now 3 years later, I'm find the cupboard work is not holding up as well as I think it should.
Description of Work: I am updating my report of 2008. At that time I felt that the prep work was lacking and I noted that. Now 3 years later, I'm seeing the results of poor prep work. On the cupboards that get high use, I'm having some wearing off of the paint. He caulked where the raised panels were inserted in the cupboard doors and now all the caulking is cracking. I now realize you are never supposed to caulk those raised panels.

+ -1 moreHe did an excellent job. He had to perform the repairs in stages so one stage had to dry or set and he would come back another day and do the next phase.
Description of Work: Steve repaired the face of the master bedroom fireplace which was damaged by water leaking through the chimney. He hung new wallpaper.

+ -1 moreOverall a good experience. Prompt, neat and pleasant. Quality of painting good, however felt that prep work, cleaning and sanding prior to repainting could have been better. Not sure if this is typical or not since we always have done our own interior painting.
Description of Work: Repainted white cupboards in Kitchen and Laundry Room. Repainted interior doors and trim.
