Our trees were very damaged during the ice storm in Jan 2009. My main concern was to preserve the trees in a healthy manner in order to support healthy re-growth. Also, if a tree would not be able to recover, I wanted to know about that, and have that tree removed. I really wanted a certified arborist, not just a couple of guys with chainsaws. I researched the company on the internet after seeing their signs up around Fayetteville. Liking their BBB rating (A+) and the many testimonials, I called Lynn. He was already in the area, and very busy. He discovered that he was in my area and came by. We discussed the damage and I was happy to hear that only 1 tree would not recover, but all others could be trimmed in an appropriate way. The estimate stated that they would also remove all debris and place it by the curb for city pick-up. I was told that it may be 2-3 days before they could make it to my house, but I was pleased that they could do it that soon. Imagine my surprise when a crew appeared the next afternoon. I cannot stress enough what a great job they did! I had seen other companies around town, and some of the jobs were very shoddy. When I was told that I wouldn't even be able to tell that the ice storm had happened, I was politely skeptical. Not only did they clean up under a heavily damaged cedar on our property line, but they also cleaned up those branches that had fallen in the neighbor's yard! We have planted 20 trees in the back, but the property line has many trees of various sizes and varieties, rather wooded. The crew was just as careful with these trees, which I love, as they were with the "landscaped" trees, and noticed damage that I had not seen. The clean-up was phenomenal. They raked up all little twigs, cleaned up the driveway and sidewalk. I sincerely didn't expect such care. It was such a relief to look out and see my yard looking normal. All trees were trimmed with care and they even put the hammock back in order after it was buried by limbs. I am very happy with the results, and I know that consulting a certified arborist was the right decision.
