I don't think replacing a ceiling fan is all that difficult, but since I didn't have a tall enough ladder, I decided to hire it done. As I've indicated, the work was done professionally, I just thought $275 was a bit excessive for 75 minutes and a straight forward installation.

Found and fixed the problem quickly. Did an investigation of the entire electrical system and pointed out (and explained why) items needs to be fixed. Example: Discolored screws in the breaker box, caused by extreme heat. 90 amp breaker on 60 amp wire to stove and oven. The wire would have melted before the breaker could have done it's job. Fire hazard. Gave me 5 options to review and did the work (replace two breaker panels and all the light switches and plugs in the house) in one day. Suggestions for getting ready for them. Example: put ice in Freezer. Scheduled city inspection of their work and they signed off.
