Description of Work: By the way, this is Holland Landscape (with 2 Ls). Scott Honeyman and his crew have worked on my landscaping for the last 8 years and they always do a great job. Their latest work was planting of pansies for winter color and replacing a tree that had died. This time, they planted right through a light rain. As always, they were very courteous and professional and left the site clean and tidy.

+ -1 moreThey came out this fall and pulled out our summer plants. They put in fall flowers for us. I keep using them, because they do a great job and he is very responsive for when we call. He has always done a good job and we have recommend him to many others.

+ -1 moreThis is our 2nd landscape company. While I was very impressed with the first company, I cannot afford their service and they overbilled on EVERY INVOICE based on discussions and then they had to correct the bill which they did, but I don't have time to chase down things that should have been correct the first. This 2nd company, is just frustrating in other ways. While I don't have time to do the yard work myself or the knowledge, I just want a company that does what we discuss and bills accordingly. I think I'm learning why most people do their own gardens.
Description of Work: Does not take notes of items that need attention when we discuss. When finally shows to do the work, only does part of the items discussed (because he didn't take notes), then it takes more weeks until they return. The crew does not speak English which causes more time & money because of translation. Gave his word that he walked through the sprinkler system to make sure all sprinkler heads are working properly and are of the correct height & angle. In disbelieve, we personally checked the sprinkler zones and there was quite a bit of missing spots- clearly he did not do what he said he did. He is not detailed - at all. Rarely shows or calls when he says he will and we end up chasing him down. He is great at sales but very weak on the follow through.
