Description of Work: Mike and Nick with First Choice Relocation moved several rooms of furniture to storage. They were punctual, hard working and conscientious; everything one would look for in a moving firm.

Description of Work: I used the Angie's list coupon for moving a piano. The movers were very careful covering the doorway and making sure the pathway was clear of objects and debris. The movers were courteous and asked to know exactly where we wanted things. The movers were very professional. | |I put N/A for punctuality because I remember being told that the movers would arrive at 8 a.m. since we were the first move of the day. They called at about 8 a.m. and said they were on their way, 20 minutes out, and arrived at about 8:30 a.m. Maybe I was told they would be there at ABOUT 8 a.m. and if that was the case then before 8:30 was great and I appreciated the call. | |Details of the coupon said First Choice would be in touch with me within two days to schedule the move. I called First Choice right after I purchased the coupon on Angie's list on a Friday to see if I could schedule the move. I was told they would get back with me. I had not heard back by late afternoon the next Tuesday so I called them and was able to schedule as soon as that Friday. The two people I spoke with were very courteous and helpful.

Description of Work: Did not respond to Internet, phone message request for estimate. When I finally talked to someone, they said a person would call and he never called.

Description of Work: I had about 15 large items I needed moved from one location to next door.

Description of Work: I had the company come out and received an estimate of cost, time to perform service, etc. On the day of the move they were late. After starting to load my items they realized they were going to need at least one more truck. I had instructed them that my items were to be moved into a storage unit and what hours the storage facility was open. They assured me they would be able to complete the job that evening. After waiting for another truck and more men to help it was getting late. I had to leave, but they assured me they would go ahead and take what they had loaded to storage. When I returned they hadn't left. They ended up charging me an overnight fee for both trucks, which could have been avoided if they had done as promised and had taken the truck that was loaded to storage. They also estimated the job to cost $1500. When they arrived at the storage unit in the morning they gave me an invoice for more than twice the estimate and refused to unload my items until I paid in full. I would not recommend this company.
