First Choice Relocation

The arrived around 8:30 as expected. One thing I really appreciated was the fact that they watched the time. When we were close to 2 hours, they mentioned to my son if he wanted to grab some couch cusions it would save a few minutes. That to me shows they care about the customer. The did all the heavy lifting and took care with the hard wood floors.

The guys were fantastic! professional careful and funny. Would highly recommend using them.

They did a good job and none of our stuff got damaged. The price was a little high for just a cross town move. The estimate was way lower than what the price actually ended up being. It isn’t good to be surprised by an additional $500.

These guys are fast, courteous and professional. The only problem I had was they broke the frame and glass of a painting. However, they were more than willing to get it framed and ended out reimbursing me so I could do it myself.

The movers showed up exactly at the scheduled time. They were very professional and took great care with all our items. We had other items in storage and they were fine stopping by there, on the way to the new house, and picking up more items. Once at the new house, they quickly had everything unloaded and in the proper place. They even offered to rearrange all the furniture for us once it was inside. We moved during a sleet storm, and strong, freezing winds, and the guys were troopers! We couldn't have asked for a better experience or better movers!

Mike and Steven were the guys assigned to my move, they were very courteous and went out of their way to ensure provide excellent service. Mike called to verify their arrival time that morning and they were on time. They used lots of moving blankets to protect my furniture, (covering the truck floor so my mattress wouldn't get dirty, even placing blankets on the door frames so my furniture would not get nicked as they were going through the doorways, etc.) They had to move the refrigerator out of the way in my new home before they could install my refrigerator, even hooking the icemaker up and moving old fridge to the garage. Moving my fridge in required taking not only the handles off the fridge but also removing the knobs off some of my cabinets, which they put back on when they were done. All this was done with care for my items and a cheerful attitude. They even helped me arrange my livingroom furniture, moving things around until I was happy. One of my chairs just did not fit in the new home and they loaded it up and took it back to my old home. I really appreciated their professional and friendly attitude. They finished early and wanted to know if there was anything else they could do for me. Great customer service! I definitely recommend this moving service.

I gave the company a B for initial responsiveness. We were able to book them for the job on rather short notice so I did appreciate that aspect. During the move, they did damage a large armoire. They took it with them for repair and we were told they would contact us when fixed. That was in June. Just this week, we realized after reviewing my father-in-laws asset listing that we never received back the armoire. I had to phone First Choice and inquire about the furniture. I was told that they lost the paperwork and didn't know who is belonged to. They did deliver the armoire this week. Additionally, one of the movers looked familiar. After speaking with him, we realized that he was employed with the company that moved us 8 years ago. In fact, we were told that the owner of First Choice was the owner of the company we used 8 years ago. That was a bad experience. The short story is we did not receive all our belongings that had been held in their storage while we were between homes. I would not recommend First Choice.

I wasn't able to utilize this service before it expired due to having spine surgery. I spoke with the company and they would have extended the service for me but I'm not able to move. I do not remember the last date I spoke with them. They were very kind but didn't offer to refund money which would have been very helpful considering that I am unable to work.

First Choice Relocation moved some antique furniture between houses for us. They were a little bit later than they said they would be to start, but once they arrived, they moved the furniture quickly and efficiently. No damage was done to any of the furniture or either house, and the two men were very professional. I would definitely call them again.

Their providing boxes was a tremendous help. The two guys that moved the heavy items out of my two bedroom upstairs apartment to my new house did a great job. The only negative things I have to say with my experience are things that could have been better handled prior to the move. 1. I wish the pricing was better explained. Being that this was my first time to use movers, I had no idea how the scheduled time on the job was calculated. My appointment was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. I received a call at 8:05 a.m. saying they were filling up their truck and would be on their way. My time would begin at 8:15, allowing for their drive time to my apartment. As soon as the movers arrived, the timing/pricing was better explained (while my clock was ticking). At that point, I prioritized moving only the big items. I don't feel had or that the drive time subtracted wasn't warranted. I just wish it was explained how the pricing/scheduling works. If I had known, I would have budgeted accordingly and could have used the movers for moving everything over to new home instead of just the big items. 2. I wish I knew they didn't move fish tanks. Again, this may be a regular practice to not move fish tanks because of the liability issue. However, it wasn't explained to me previously so the movers had to be the bearer of bad news again. The service and professionalism of the movers was great. If I should ever need movers again (bite my tongue) I would consider using them again, as I am more educated from the experience.

Excellent customer service, competitive prices, outstanding move.

The 2 men were very professional and courteous. They protected my floors, doors, and furniture. We had one incident where a bedside table fell off the dolly, but they told me about it immediately and took it with them for repairs. I have not yet received the table back, but I will update again after I receive the repaired table.

they arrived on time. They were very professional. we moved part of our things to storage to put the house on Market. They moved things very professionally. when it came time to out it into storage they manage to fit half out house in a 10 x 13 ft storage skillfully arranging things to fit. Will use them again for the big move.

From first contact, communication with Gary & Miranda was always prompt, informative, & professional. The actual movers were punctual, friendly, competent, & considerate. We felt like we were in good hands throughout the process. First Choice provides the boxes and will take them back, things we didn't want to have to deal with. When we move from storage into our house, we will definitely call on First Choice to do the moving.

T went well, the move before was ok so I used thrm again...I'm just happy it didn't take long.

They were awesome! They took great care with our stuff. They even went so far as to wrap the doorways with padding so it wouldn't scrape anything on the way out. They dismantled the entertainment center and loaded it in mere minutes! Impressive! Everything was loaded and brought to the new house. Each piece was placed exactly where I wanted it. Things went so smoothly, they finished 15 minutes early! Great experience!

As with our previous experience, things were great! In fact, we were able to have the same 2-man crew we had previously, which was very nice. As with our experience in May, both of the crew members were clean, with company shirts. They came with all of the pads & wrap we needed, and had even brought along some extra boxes just in case we needed them. They had the special pads that somehow "grip" the door frame (to help protect it while they are moving furniture through, and they also padded the actual doors, so that we didn't have to worry about them getting bumped. They used the pads at both locations, and were extremely efficient, both loading and unloading. This was our second move with First Choice in less than 90 days (moving our child from/to college) and we are very, very pleased with their services, and will be glad to use them again!

. It went great. They were prompt, courteous and took great care in moving my mother's antiques. She had planned on bird dogging them so to speak to ensure they handled her antiques like she wanted. After they prepared and moved the 1st couple of pieces, she actually left to go to the new duplex. She felt she didn't need to keep an eye on them. They were so professional in their attitude and tools they had to move her things properly. We could not have asked for a better experience. Would highly recommend.

First choice was extremely professional. They worked with haste and was able to move everything in a reasonable time. I was very impressed with their service and would use them again. The service was also very affordable.

Mike & Steven were so patient and careful with packing our kids' household in Stillwater. They arrived at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, as scheduled, after having to drive over an hour to get there. They were polite and introduced themselves to us and were patient with our granddaughter and with me in a wheelchair because of a broken ankle. They unloaded everything carefully and were pleasant about rearranging furniture to suit our daughter-in-law. We were very pleased and would use this company again.

They called first just prior to arriving and were very prompt and new exactly what to do and where to go. They completely covered and wrapped everything that was time consuming but it paid off. Nothing was scratched or broken (unlike other moving days) They gave me to garment containers for all my clothes to pack while they were loading. I had expected moving all my clothes later myself. They moved me completely into my new house that day. They were fast, experienced and very friendly and easy to work with. What I was dreading with the experience of moving, turned into a rather fun day!

They were prompt and worked very hard. They had to make a second trip, which all got done in one day (an amazing feat). It was really hot and they worked SO hard. And Todd, the team leader was friendly and answered all of my questions. They had one of their guys who fell ill and they called for a backup, who was there in no time. They were really good about using only the amount of men that they actually needed (it varied from 2 to 3) throughout the day and kept very good track of how many for what time periods so that the final bill was absolutely correct and understandable. The cost was above the Angie's List Deal but they told me ahead of time how much the extra time would cost, so there were no big surprises. They brought boxes for me to use for the stuff I hadn't yet packed (for free!), with the request that I return them when done; what a great service that is! I would definitely use them again.

The movers were on-time and efficient. They didn't break or damage anything, which is impressive since I was on the 2nd floor for both ends of the move. They were very professional.

Very nice workers. They did scratch our washer door but said the company would buff it out.
