AJ Electric responded quickly, fit me in the same day, showed up when they said, fixed everything quickly, and charged a fair price. With the lack of communication from many contractors I have worked with its nice to have things go better than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

It went very well. Jeff was on time and he even helped remove the old garbage disposal to get better access.

Called on a Tuesday and he was able to get me an appointment the next day (Wednesday). Electrician came out and worked for two hours and said he found the source of the problem but needed to come back and dig through the attic to find the right junction box. He said he couldn't come back until Saturday afternoon, and I was fine with that as long as it wasn't a short causing the electrical problems. He never showed back up or called. I had to find another electrician...this one stayed until the job was done. The only good thing was that I hadn't paid yet...

Electrician did a great job. Very knowledgeable and worked very hard.

Jeff was fantastic to work with he arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) for our scheduled service call. I needed a professional to remove an old ceiling fan and install a crystal chandelier in its place. I called him after reading great reviews on Angie's list and it turned out that I too shared the common feeling of others. I couldn't be happier with his service he was extremely friendly, polite, clean, knowledgable, affordable and fast... You can tell Jeff knows what he is doing and is very experienced and confident. He removed the fan in under 5 minutes and had the new chandelier up within 20 minutes... Very impressive for the fact that this was a heavy chandelier and we have 14' ceilings! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends and family and I will only hire him for all my future electrical needs.

I called Friday evening and Jeff fit me into his schedule the next afternoon. He arrived changed out the outlet and switch in the breaker box very quickly. His work was excellent and he wasted no time getting it done. The next time I need an electrician I will call Jeff back.

Jeff came by to provide an estimate one day. Returned the very next day to do the job. His work was fast but thorough. He was knowledgable and professional. I would definitely hire Jeff to do any future electrical work.

Jeff was very professional. He not only installed 2 ceiling fans but he discovered a wiring problem that had been in our house for over 30 yrs. Previously we had a ceiling fan installed. It had bare wires running across a gas line in the ceiling. Jeff climbed up into the attic and safely fixed the problem. I will use him again as needed.

Jeff arrived on time and had all supplies and equipment needed to install the service without have to get any parts from a supply store. He assessed the job carefully before starting his work, this to me is a very good practice. He worked at a good pace but never rushed, his care in the installation was evident in the finished product. No part of my house endured collateral damage from his actions. The areas he occupied in working were as clean as they were before he arrived. He said I would love the new box. He didn't lie and I was surprised as to me the breaker panel was an invisible part of living in your home. I stressed my house after he left to see if I could push my lights to flicker or brown. Everything works flawlessly. I will utilize his services again.

My initial call to Jeff was made on 5-14, I left a message and he called me back 10 minutes later. He gave me an initial quote of $500 and said he could come wed, 5-16 at 9:00 am. On wed at 9:03, he called and said he was running 10 min. Late, arrived at 9:13. After looking the job over, ended up with a quote of $400. They started the job at 9:45 and finished at 11:30 except for switch and vent pipe which he had to go get. Returned at 12:00 and was completely done at 12:30. Jeff was very friendly but professional and he was very contientious and both he and his helper cleaned up all messes. I was. impressed with the job.

All in all he did great, would be pleased to refer him to others and offer him further service if there are any future needs.

Jeff Tilton took my call early morning on May 6 and made an appointment that day. He was on time and immediately determined the problem. He had to leave for a part and returned very promptly. He completed the work quickly and made sure all of my lights, appliances, etc were on and running properly.

I had some issues with my dryer outlet, and it turned out the receptacle had failed. I put in a new one, then blew a breaker. I replaced the breaker and the dryer still wasn't working. I was unsure if it was the dryer, the recep, or the breaker so I called in someone that would have a better idea. I found AJ Electric with plenty of good reviews here on Angie's List and gave him a call. He was able to squeeze me in same day, which was very helpful. After looking at a few things he found that the wiring was off on the dryer and redid the wiring. After that the dryer turned right on and I was good to go.

The rewiring happened quickly and on short notice late this evening, accommodating our tight remodel timeline. After they finished, Jeff clearly explained what they did and how the dry-wallers could finish from where he left off. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend AJ Electric to others.

I called Jeff to schedule an appointment to replace a bad GFCI outlet in our kitchen and remove one light fixture so we could have an HVAC company install a new return air vent in its place. Jeff called before he showed up to let me know he was on his way. When he got here, he got right to work. He removed the light fixture very quickly and then moved on to the GFCI outlet in the kitchen. He determined it was bad and needed to be replaced which he also did quickly. He did a very good job on both things. He was professional, punctual, friendly, and cleaned up after himself. I will definitely be calling Jeff the next time we need an electrician!

Very pleasant and knew what he as doing. I called him and he was available to come right over.

I called and Jeff immediately answered the phone. He happened to be near my neighborhood and came to the house about 45 minutes later; the repairs were made on the spot! No waiting!

The contractor was very knowledgeable about his trade. quite professional. But because of distance we could not do business.

He did a very thorough job investigating the problem and was very quick about it as well. Once he determined what the problem was and the best way to correct it, he got right to work fixing our electrical line. He was very neat as well and very professional. He also did a great job communicating to us the problem and what he did to correct it. Very happy with his work.
