Jeff established that the main wires to an outlet had broken off behind the outlet box (which was in tumbled marble backsplash). Said this is just a fluke and not something I had done. Just bad luck. He had to make an opening in the cabinet above this outlet to access the main wiring. He put a blank outlet cover over the outlet in the cabinet and all three outlets came back to life!

He was on time, professional, and worked quickly. His pricing was fair and reasonable. I am very pleased. I will definitely call him again for future work.

We had deferred maintenances referenced above. Jeff Tilton came and provided me with a very reasonable estimate. His technicians, Shane and Jeff O. came on the same afternoon to do the work. They were very professional and made their work look very easy. Furthermore, they put themselves in the customer's shoes. Shane provided me with an option to add 2 more ceiling lights, which would improve lighting in the room. Jeff O. replaced a broken with on the bathroom vent system that we did not know initially. These were not in the initial work plan. They gave me with an updated quote and completed all tasks before 6 p.m. on that day. The results were fantastic. The functions and appearance of our house improved tremendously. I strongly recommend AJ Electronic Inc. and its team. Now, I don't have to look any further for my electric service needs in the future.

Sent a message to AJ Electrical around 6pm asking for a service call two days later. Owner called me less than an hour later to schedule. He said someone would be there by 11:30am on date agreed, but would call before coming. Received call approximately 10am on date agreed asking if it would be ok to come at 10:30am instead? I was very happy to have the service sooner than expected. The technician arrived and was able to diagnose the problem within 15 minutes! Exactly what I wanted! Will use AJ again!

Jeff was extremely courteous on the phone every time I talked to him.He even offered to come out on the weekend if it fit my schedule better... He was on time and called before the appointment..He was respectful in my home and did his work in a timely manner and cleaned up after his work...I would call him for any further electrical issues I might have!

The owner, Jeff, came out a few days before to give me a quote. He took the time to hear what I wanted and made sure to actually look at my existing work to see what he should do. He gave me a quote and scheduled the job. A few days later, two guys, Jeff and Shane came out to the do the work. They did a great job. They answered all questions I had. They also made sure to ask me about any small details like how I want a certain switch to face, etc. Most contractors would just install and go, they made sure it was done right. I plan on having them out again to install some can lights in my living room and a few more dimmers. Very professional and punctual.

The service turned out fine. He came out right away. He was not here long enough. He even gave me new impression. The cost was whatever I paid for the Big Deal; it was all that I paid for. Scheduling was fine. I do not know that I would call him again. I would not consider using him again.

Jeff was by far the best estimate. He was prompt and professional and did a great job. We were surprised how quickly he completed the job. I would not hesitate to recommend AJ Electric and would definitely hire for any future electrical needs.

After emailing Jeff, he came by and looked at the existing panel and service. I also mentioned I'd like the outdoor outlets and lights to be done at the same time. Out of several estimates, his was very reasonable, and in addition, he answered my questions with more detail than most of the others I looked at. He scheduled me in for 8am on March 24th, and he and his men were right on time. They cut power pretty much immediately, and went right to work. The original fuse box was in a bedroom closet, and not really all that easy to get to, but they got to it and had the new panel and service installed by the end of the work day (around 4-5 pm). At that time, all of the circuits were energized and working correctly. Late in the morning the following day, one of his workers came out to do the light fixtures and front outside outlet, and he was joined a bit later by another worker. That work was completed in about 4 hours. His men did spend some additional time both days chasing down a wiring oddity caused by an added on circuit for the kitchen, and finally got that fully resolved on the second day. Jeff had a slight hiccup with getting the inspection scheduled, but I didn't have an issue with that. After the inspection passed, I then scheduled PSO to come out and move the service feed to the new mast head. (I'll mark this down as a very small ding or misunderstanding, as I waited a bit after the inspection for PSO to move the service line, as I expected that to be already scheduled as well, but upon contacting Jeff about it, he asked me to do the scheduling. This does not affect my satisfaction with the work he and his men did, just that it could possibly have been made more clear how that part of the process was to be handled). Jeff and his workers were fully professional, as was the work they did, and they fully cleaned up after themselves each day as they completed. I have some other (somewhat smaller) electrical tasks on my to do list for the near future, and I would gladly work with Jeff again.

Made the appointment for a few days ahead; arrived on time and did the work promptly.

Jeff was fantastic, professional and nice. I was very comfortable having him in my home and he clearly takes pride in doing the job right. He found issues that I had yet to notice and immediately corrected them. I will absolutely hire him in the future without hesitation, and you should too.

Jeff and his crew are all make a very good first impression. Work went smoothly and quickly. A telling incident: Jeff was faced with a choice of a "shortcut" that would have been ok, but probably would'nt look quit right. He chose to go town for a simple part that made the job look professional - I thought that was pretty cool. Why? Pride of workmanship I think. He does a job right because that is just the way he is. He also redid some of dad's handywork in the breakerbox - because it bugged him. I gave them a "C" on cost because I have no ideas what a job like that should cost.

We originally called another electrician and he gave us a bid of $700 sight unseen. We called AJ Electric and he gave us a much lower bid. Once they arrived they did have to raise the initial estimate, which I expected. They made sure I was okay with the new price and quickly got the new fixtures installed. Consulting with my wife to make sure the appearance and location of the new fixture was acceptable and correct. I am very happy with their work and would definitely hire them again.

Jeff and his electrician Shane were great! I called and left messages at several electricians when we woke up to no power. Jeff was the first to actual answer the call right away and he was able to get Shane to us within 30 minutes!! Shane did a great job troubleshooting the issue and was able to determine where the problem was rather quickly. After a bit of work by Shane in the attic we had power restored to that part of the house. Shane worked quickly and professionally! Great experience and would recommend them to anyone.

This was the second time we have called Jeff to come out and do work for us. I was trying to install the lights myself when one of the wires got severed. I called Jeff and he was so nice that he was going to try and help me fix it over the phone. I thought it would be safer to have him come out and fix the problem. Since it was a Saturday, I figured I could just schedule an appointment for him to come out next week. He said he was just finishing up another job and asked if we were going to be home for a little while. I said yes, and he said he could be over in an hour! I was pleasantly surprised that he offered to come out the same day and he didn't even charge us extra! When he arrived, he quickly fixed the severed wire and installed both light fixtures. Jeff is our go-to electrician now! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fast, friendly, and efficient electrician!

I was extremely pleased that he didn't try to up-sale me anything. He took 5 minutes to fix it for me. It being a 50 year old home, I was just sure he would want to rewire or put in a new panel or something. But nope, he just showed me what I needed to do and cheerfully. I told him I found him on Angie'sList and he said he hopes I would give him a good reference and say he's handsome, too. And by golly, he is! Thanks!!!

Jeff was quick to respond to messages through Angie's List and easy to reach by phone. He scheduled a time, rather soon I might add, showed up on time, was understanding I was running a little late, and performed the work quickly. He cleaned up very well and left a very clean install. His price was fair, and his materials were up to par.

He was very knowledgeable, fast, and practical. His price was competitive with other electricians. We will definitely hire him again if we need to in the future.

Jeff and his team were fantastic! I needed to have two outdoor lights put on the sides of my garage door and have the existing light fixture at the front door changed to match the other two. I have a brick house, so I definitely wanted to call a pro for this job. I called Jeff and explained what I needed done and he set up an appointment for later that morning. He showed up on time, took a good look at everything, listened very carefully to what I wanted, made a plan with me, and explained the process in very good detail before calling his team and setting up a time with them to come out and do the job. The team showed up on time later that afternoon and got everything done in a couple of hours. They did a great job! Everything works and looks very nice. I highly recommend Jeff and his team. They are sure to have my business again if I need any more electrical jobs done in the future!

Jeff called within hours of emailing him and gave me a rough quote over the phone, then agreed to come by the next day to give a better estimate, which was still close to what he said the day before. I had 4 quotes for this project which included replacing our obsolete Zinsco panel and solving the problem of our service line from the pole touching our chimney and hanging just a foot above the roof line. His proposal wasn't the cheapest (middle of the road) but made the most sense to solve our problem. A week later he showed up on time at 8 a.m. followed soon after by 2 members of his crew. After unloading materials and providing details to his crew, Jeff left for a few hours. The other 2 got everything installed without much problem but hit a snag hooking the existing house wires into the new panel. Jeff returned around lunchtime to help out and eventually called in his other 2-man crew to assist as well. After everything had been properly installed, hooked up, and turned on the crew had been at work for 12 long hours. One other thing my wife and I really appreciated was when the the old service riser was removed, a hole was left in the roof. With rain coming overnight and all the next day, Jeff called a roofing subcontractor to patch the hole and flash the new service pole at no added expense to us. Jeff and the original 2 guys returned the following morning to run the new line for and install the ceiling fan, as well as diagnose the only issue we had with the previous night's install...2 kitchen outlets and the garage door opener not working. (Turns out all 3 were on the same circuit, which they fixed.) After all this they went through the house to mark the circuits on the new panel. All-in-all, we are very pleased with the work AJ Electric did for us.

I emailed Jeff and he responded back within just a few hours. We were able to set up an appointment within a day which I appreciated since we had been without lights for several days prior to finding him. He called an hour before he expected to arrive and then showed right on time. He was very polite and professional. My house is old and has been remodeled so the breaker situation is tricky (and new to me as we moved in recently) but he was diligent and navigated it. I had a couple other questions regarding changing out old sockets and perhaps installing a chandelier which he answered while he was finishing up. I appreciated him staying a little longer to answer those questions. Despite a rainy day interfering with his schedule he found a way to keep my appointment as planned. I will be calling him again for future needs.

Jeff came by our house after finishing a complex job for someone else. It was getting late, and I'm sure that he was tired, but he agreed to come by on his way home and look at a problem that we were having. We really appreciated him doing that, and he got us fixed up in no time!
