I had an excellent experience with them. They did very good work and did what they said they would do at the price they quoted. I had one small problem and they came back and promptly fix it. The people that came out were excellent also.

very well. He did not put a painter's cloth down or tape off areas. perhaps this slowed him down but, it could have gone the other way. not sure. I thought I had a painter I could count on but, he hasn't returned my calls, so I am glad to find this one on Angie's list

That went well. I think I have read that it was an all day service and I think all day could be defined better because he left around 2 or 3 and so it was something I should have probably established upfront but he definitely was able to do quite a few odds and ends things around the house.

He did a nice job of painting the walls in our master bedroom, but when he painted the acoustic ceiling, several patches of acoustic coating fell off, which he did not redo. Also, there are stretches of paint near the beam on the ceiling that look wrinkled. He promised to come back and fix things, but never did, even after two follow-up telephone calls.

I had 4 big wall cracks from some settling that had happened. We got the foundation fixed, but neglected the cracks. When we started to sell our house we realized we needed the cracks fixed. I searched Angie's list and found A-Z near us. They were booked up for 3 weeks, but told us they would be here and they were. They did a great job. Then, I had the emergency with my ceiling that they took care of too. I'd call them again in a heartbeat.

Scott returned my initial phone call the same day. We set up a meeting for him to look at my job, and he arrived exactly on time. He quickly called me back with a bid (which was quite a bit under another bid from a contractor that I had talked with), and we set a date for him to start the job, which was changed two or three times due to his current customer adding/changing work. When he and his brother did arrive to start the job, they were exactly on time. They also repaired problems created by a previous painter, cleaned up all the mess, and did not take off to "check on" or "work on another job." They worked diligently, quietly and quickly until the job was finished (one and a half days) with no accidents. They were always friendly, respectful, and professional. The result is fabulous!! Perfect!! I am a very picky person, and they surpassed my expectations!! They are definitely worth waiting for!!

It was about 3 weeks after calling that a slot was available for our job so that did not as work as well with our schedule as we would have liked. We had hoped to have the painting finished before the new carpet went in. On the day of the job, Scott and his brother showed up on time and completed the job in about a half day. They used quality materials and did a good job. Would recommend to others.

It took several tries at scheduling-which worked out favorably for me because I ended up with 2 painters for the day! They showed up on time, were professional and friendly, did excellent work and did a great job of cleaning up. Scott is now my go-to painter.

Scott and his brother did fantastic job painting our house. My expectations were not only met but exceeded. Not only were Scott & his brother punctual, they were extremely professional and very flexible. I had a full house of three adults, three dogs, and twin one years old babies--at times they had to maneuver around the craziness within the house to get their job done. They did this with ease, a smile and extreme patience. The painting itself looks AMAZING. I am perfectionist and wanted the paint job done to perfection. I felt like A-Z Paint & Drywall accomplished exactly what I had desired. I have already recommended this company to several family members and friends and will use them for all my future painting projects. Thank you A-Z Paint & Drywall for the excellent work. We are beyond pleased!

He responded quickly to my phone call. He gave me a bid and he is supposed to start this week. He was very friendly, business-like. He was very respectful. He gave me options and was able to fix things. I was very pleased with him.

Scott was very prompt and professional with both his estimate and the work that he did. My walls were in pretty bad shape when he started and after he was done with his work it made it a lot easier for me to paint. I would use him again for drywall work.

Price was great for the amount of work done. Painter was punctual and professional. Estimates from other painters ranged from $1100-1500. One thing of note: we previously hired a painter who left junk on the walls he was painting (fibers from the brush, dust, etc.) and we fired him. Scott was the second painter we hired and he didn't notice it until after he had painted over the walls. However, he did mention it to us and offered to sand and re-paint those walls, but we declined. We had a good overall experience and would hire again.

Nice paint job in most rooms. One room he missed a couple spots which is very noticeable with the accent wall and the line at the ceiling is not straight at all. I had to put back most of the wall plates and remove the tape and paper myself. For $400 per room I expect better service. He wouldn't help move a stick of furniture either.

Overall a very good experience and I will use Scott again. He is easy to contact and to work with. He did a good job and had good attention to detail. He made some very cheap cabinets look like they were much nicer. I will absolutely be using him again for future projects.

Scott arrived on time and we reviewed the job. He got right to work and continued working hard throughout the day. He agreed to do a couple extra steps per my request (fixing seam between wall and ceiling, and painting over drywall with additional primer). I am pleased with the result. No spills, no paint spattered, and he cleaned up when he was finished. The bathroom looks great! Nice guy, reliable, and easy to work with.

We had recently taken down wallpaper in our half bathroom and needed someone to come in and smooth out the walls and texture them. I purchased the Angie's List Deal for a Painter for a Day. A-Z Paint and Drywall came in and was ready to work. He did a great job smoothing out the wall and making it look really nice. He then textured the wall as well so we could finish up ourselves and paint it. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I even was able to ask him about a few other rooms and will definitely call him again for our next project.

Scott's work was exemplary in every way. He was on time, prepped thoroughly, and worked quietly, quickly and continously until the job was done. He gave us some good advice and even recommended changing the color on one wall to an accent color which we hadn't considered. The results turned out even better than we had hoped. We have already scheduled more work with him in the future. By the way, the price shown includes an Angie's List coupon and also the cost of the paints we specified.

It went very well. We plan for him to come back to do more work this fall.

Scott was excellent from the start. He quickly returned call to answer questions so purchase wasn't blindly done. He was professional and eager to do a good job. He did not fail. We agreed o the task as well as some additional items and he took care of it all in a timely fashion. Verified his appointment the day before and that was a nice touch.

Scott was punctual, professional, the work was excellent, and done in a timely manner. He suggested the products to purchase, as well as gave us estimates as requested for future work. We were so impressed after he painted our kitchen that we had him paint our bathroom as well. Both kitchen and bathroom look great. Our kitchen after it dried had a few places that require additional touchups to which he will return and complete. We will definitely use him for future painting interior and exterior, as well as staining work.

Scott was very responsive from the first time I called him. He returned my calls and we played phone tag a few times. He set up the appointment and was very prompt. He fixed a gouge in the wall first and then went and picked up the paint based on a swatch I provided. I was very happy with the result. He did a great job, was very professional, and fast. Had I known how fast he was I would have had him do a 2nd room. I purchased an Angie's List big deal and it was well worth it. We plan to use him to paint several more rooms in our house.
