A PRO HOME INSPECTION SERVICES

While punctual and professional during the inspection process, we had tremendous difficulty with this company upon the completion of their services. Our Heat and A/C worked perfectly during the inspection procedure, but when they were finished, the A/C never worked again. They returned the next day to see if there was a simple fix, but found none and offered no assistance in getting an expedient and affordable evaluation. Repair by an HVAC professional then cost me over $400.00. A-Pro stated there was absolutely no way their inspection caused the demise of our A/C control board. They refused to accept any accountability or offer any small consolation despite putting our unit through rigorous testing in the heat of summer. While I don't believe there was any malicious act on their part, their non-chalance and refusal to make even the slightest conciliatory gesture tell me they are a company that can do no wrong in their own minds. Several objective mis-statements were present in their report, which either reflect carelessness in their work or suggest possible incompetence. I am not one to typically complain about the service sector, but I am a firm believer in the adage that the customer is always right. In this case, I was also a customer, as the inspection process is vital to concluding the sale of my home. I would never use A-Pro as a home buyer given the inaccuracies in their report, and I would never allow them into my home as a seller. I would demand that my home be inspected by a different, qualified and reputable company.
