Description of Work: After calling one AC company and getting the run around and a potential estimate of $9000 for a new AC/Heat, I called Yarbrough and Sons. Brent Lester came out within an hour or two of calling, and gave me an estimate of $5400. Since I live in a Mfg. Home, Yarbrough and Sons have AC/Heat units specifically for Mfg. Homes already in stock. The installers came out and were very good and fast and installing the inside and outside units. While you can call up the other bigger companies, I suggest first calling Yarbrough and Sons. They will give you a very competitive price and a very professional and efficient installation.

+ -1 moreThey were wonderful people. It was an excellent experience. The people who installed the unit were very courteous and very neat. They didn't make a hug mess and didn't disrupt our lives. They were really good. They put it up in the attic. The previous one was in the house. They bolt all the supports and structures that it needed. They installed the lights up there so when they have to come and work on it, they could see. They did an excellent job. It was a good price. The service was good. So far, we've had no problems with the products. They were right out here to take care of it. We'll use them.
Description of Work: We used Yarbrough & Sons for heating and air. We were having trouble with the heat. They came out and did some work for us. They did some adjustments.

+ -1 moreThey were very accommodating on setting up the time with me. They showed up right on time. They probably spent 5 or 6 hours with me going through my system. They're very technical. I thought the charge was way too low for the work. They explained everything. They did a great job.
Description of Work: I used Yarbrough & Sons because I was having some noises coming out of my HVAC system. They ended up going through my entire HVAC system of my upstairs and downstairs unit checking for leaks. They did recharge my downstairs unit which was low on freon or whatever and checked for leaks.

+ -1 moreA month later someone finally contacted me back and said that they are just not getting back to me because they thought someone else had contacted us and so they were contacting us to make sure that we had been taken care of, but no one had gotten back to me and someone came to my husband and said they would go back to the office and write up an estimate and get back to us and we never heard back from them. I wasn't very happy with them. I would not use them again in the future.
Description of Work: We had Yarbrough & Sons come out and give us an estimate for a/c replacement in May.

They seem to be very efficient and they didn't try to sell a bunch of stuff to me. When I asked a question, they would answer it. He explained things to me about the air conditioner when I asked.

Description of Work: I have a new barn and wanted a unique heating and air system installed. Theywere there on time for the estimate and the installation work. They were flexible with their installation timetable due to other contractors working at the same time. They made helpful recommendations that would improve the performance of the system. Brent, the gentleman that provided the estimate, was knowledgable and professional while the owner, Mr. Yarbrough, was understanding and flexible.
