Description of Work: I recently contracted Homeguard to convert our walk in attic space to a bonus room and also added a dormer to this space as well. From the time i first contacted Homeguard until completion of the project their professionalism, punctuality, customer service and workmanship were absolutely outstanding. I have worked with many contractors over the years and they truly are one of the best i have ever worked with. This project from start to finish took three weeks just as they had stated in their quote and they had 2-3 workers on site every single day. I received daily updates on what was expected to be completed that day and for the rest of the week. They took extra care to protect the carpet and stairs from their work and did a great job cleaning up every day. I would highly recommend Homeguard for any home remodeling project you may be considering. I will definitely be using them for other remodeling projects we are considering. Also special thanks to Joe, Danny and Craig for outstanding craftsmanship and dedication to customer service.

Description of Work: The company came out to my home, took pictures, and discussed with me my desire to have a closet put in and flooring in the attic. He took my email address to send me an estimate, but I never received anything nor did I get a follow-up call.

Description of Work: We wanted three bids on remodeling two and half bath. We were looking for advise and a approx rough bid to start with because we are trying to get grants to complete our project needed to send with projects for the beginning and they acted very uninterested and a little rude and did not want to submit a bid at all. This for aging senior citizen wanting to stay into business. We told them is was a grant possible job and the Foundation want the bid. The payment would come through the Foundation if we were select. They would not pay client direct.

Member must have us confused with another company. She inquired about a bathroom remodel for 2 1/2 baths. I met with her the day after the initial inquiry. I arrived on time to our previously scheduled appointment. There was alot of confusion because she was unsure of what she wanted to do in the remodel work. I attempted to make suggestions. I felt rushed during my initial inspection because she had another appointment who arrived while I was inspecting her property. I had a death in the family and was out of state for 3 days. Upon my return I finished my estimate for Member and sent it to her via e-mail with an explanation why it had taken longer than I anticipated to get to her. From the date she originally contacted me to the date I sent her the estimate was less than one week. Member never replied to my e-mails. I am upset over this review. As of this date I have 4 Angies List reviews. This one (estimate only - didn't do any work for her) and three others. The summation of my other reviews (which I did complete jobs for) I was given 17 A's and one B. All three of these reviews said they were pleased with my work and would use my company again. I pride myself in my company reputation. Enough so that I gladly hand over my entire customer base to prospective clients who request a reference. That way they can select who to call and how many they call. I take pride in making sure my customers are 100 percent satisfied. In addition to Angie's List I have an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau. I feel this rating is unjustly warranted. Member was not a paying customer, all I did for her was an estimate, free of charge. I would gladly discuss this rating with any potential client that would like to discuss.
