Craig is a real pleasure to work with. He responds promptly to requests for information and appointments. He had done a smaller job for me previously and was the first one I thought of for this work. I really like that Craig not only is there supervising but also working with his crew. When I had a small problem after the job was done he responded quickly and resolved it for me. If you need remodeling or roofing work done Green Phoenix is the company to call!

Casing, flashing and skylights were secured and sealed. Flashing around chimney was secured and sealed. Everything else that needed to be tucked or sealed was done. Roof was blown off and yard and patio blown clean. Very pleased.

He patched it and it still leaked and he came out again but it still leaks. I will get a new roofing company.

Working with Green Phoenix was a very pleasing and rewarding experience! The attention to detail and efficiency were top notch, not to mention all the little extras Craig would do when he saw something that needed attention he just did it. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterwards. What a blessing to work with!

Fantastic!!!! I could not be happier with having chosen Green Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling to take care of my roofing needs! Craig Poindexter was punctual when arriving to provide the free estimate and again on the day of the roofing project. At the time of the estimate, Craig provided a detailed drawing of the roof and what areas of low sloped roof would require a modified roll shingle to prevent water from pooling and leaking into the house (water stains on the ceiling towards the back of the house is one reason that prompted roofing estimates). The drawing also included the location of 8 box vents that would provide attic venting and be strategically placed so as not to be too noticeable from the street. Craig predicted that my roof could be removed down to the decking and re-shingled in one day. The Green Phoenix estimate was less than two other competing roofing companies that provided estimates to do the exact same work. Green Phoenix's reasonable estimate and plan for re-roofing my 1400 sq foot single story home along with their clean up policy and proper collection and recycling of old shingles made this company the clear choice for me. On the day of the roofing project, Craig's crew arrived just before 8am and ready to start work. They were courteous and confirmed the job site address with me before putting ladders up and laying down tarp around the perimeter of my home to protect the plants and shrubbery. Craig arrived exactly at 8am with the hydraulic dump trailer to collect the old shingles that his crew had already started tearing off the back of the roof. Craig and crew worked on the roof all day (with a break for lunch) and as promised, had the shingles and box vents installed by 5:30 that afternoon. As a final touch, they painted all of the pipe flashes, caps and stacks to match the roof color. Clean up was performed during and at the end of the project that included running a magnetic sweep around the entire house. I have not found any stray nails or trash around my home and am quite pleased that they respected my property enough to leave it free of debris. I am going to keep Green Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling in mind for my future remodeling needs and they will be the only roofing company I refer to my friends and family. They were very organized, efficient workers. They did a a wonderful job of cleaning up. Craig is very helpful, and patience to work with and knows his product (in our instance roofing) very well and directed us to making a perfect decision to enhance our home's curb appeal.We were very pleased and just can't say enough good things about working with Craig, we look forward to dealing with him again in the future, concerning various projects we'd like to complete.

Craig was a very friendly competent guy. He gave great advice on which gutters suited my home the best. He also gave me advice on which color to use and they look stunning. His crew was fast and they cleaned up their work areas. I could've chose someone cheaper but in the long run I prefer quality work which is what I got. I'd use them for anything. Great job and excellent service.

It went okay. They were prompt, courteous, seemed knowledgeable and were able to make the repair the next day. They seemed to make all of the repairs rather quickly. I was not able to get on roof to confirm the sealing and shingle replacement, so had to take their word that services had been performed as requested.. I had an Angie's List coupon for $99 service that only covered a few areas for sealing. Had to pay an additional $100 to get the rest of the areas sealed. I was promised a receipt, but to date have not received it. Contacted them and they were wafting for Angie's List to update the account before they could provide a receipt. (Angie's List was updating their computer system) They did leave a hand written estimate when they first came out.

I am very impressed with the work performed by Green Phoenix on my house. Craig, the owner, was extremely professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Since I don’t know anything about roofing, Craig took the time to explain the process, the difference between types of shingles, the benefit of having the old roof completely removed before installing a new roof, etc. Also, this is my first insurance claim and Craig assisted me with information about the insurance process as well. Craig earned my trust because he was professional, open, and he did not try to avoid my questions or to hide anything. In addition, Craig provided me with a fair estimate before knowing the amount approved by my insurance. Other contractors that I have contacted refused to give me an estimate upfront and kept asking to see the paperwork from the insurance first. He also gave me a great discount which helped tremendously with my deductible. On the day scheduled to replace the roof, Craig and his team showed up promptly and ready to work. Their performance was outstanding and the final result is beyond reproach. Craig was present on site all day to supervise the process and ensure that everything was being done properly. Craig discovered that an area of the roof did not have any ice and water grade underlayment or modified bitumen sheet system and agreed to install it at no additional cost because he wanted to make sure that it’s properly done. The roof replacement was completed in time and they did not leave until the whole area was perfectly cleaned. They even went around the house with a magnetic sweep to make sure there are no nails left behind. My new roof looks great and I am very pleased with the work performed by Green Phoenix. Obviously they take great pride in performing quality work! I would definitely hire them again and I recommend them without hesitation.

Explained to me the reason why I was having the problems I was having with my current system. Gave me options on what I could do and quickly gave me cost estimates. Once I gave the OK the work started quickly and was done quickly. The gutters look great. I have had a lot of work done on houses and buildings with contractors. I would not hesitate to work with Green Phoenix again.

Purchased a $99 promotional roof inspection from AngiesList after we had a small leak near a chimney after the late December storm that brought heavy rain and winds. Craig from Green Phoenix came out within a week to 10 days from my purchase to inspect our roof. He took pictures of the areas that needed repair and explained the work that was needed. His crew came out today (about 3 weeks from the original contact time) to perform the work. They were very efficient and finished the job quickly. I haven't gone up on the roof myself, but it looks like the repairs were made as explained from a ground level view. Craig personally inspected his crew's work and said everything was complete and there were no issues. He also said make sure we let him know if we have any problems - which I know means he stands behind his company and the work that was done. We will see how the repairs do once we get the first hard rain. For now, however, I am a happy customer.

I really wanted to give the job to Green Phoenix as the owner went the extra mile explaining the need for replacement soon, and also came back and met with the adjuster. My insurance check would only cover less than half of the repair so I had to get another bid for the roof replacement & guttering replacement. I am glad that this was discovered before I had any leaks and water damage to newly painted interior walls. In the future I will have my roof expected after every major HAIL Storm!!!

Craig was very responsive from the first message sent through Angie's List to the follow-up after completion. He visited with us to give the estimate and he visited every day they worked on the house. Due to weather the work began a day late, but Craig let us know prior to and gave us a new start date. At one point one of the workers became ill and had to leave the job. We received an email with that information and understood. It was so hot outside, I can't imagine how hot it was on the roof! We liked receiving daily updates on the job and progress. Craig is a great communicator with his clients. I would definitely use him again.

Craig was a great help from giving me an honest assessment of my roofing needs to listening to what I could afford to take care of at the time. He repaired what was necessary, and even did some extra cleaning and repairing of my gutters, which were way overdue. I will call on Green Phoenix for anything involving my roof. This is the second time I have called them with something that needed to be dealt with quickly, and on both occasions, their response time was impressive, and their estimate was very fair. Craig is very professional, and gets the job done quickly.

Green Phoenix recently put on a new roof and guttering for us along with repair work that needed to be done and painted our home. They came when they said they would, worked diligently while on the job, and finished in the time they promised! Green Phoenix increased the value of our home. Our new roof looks great and so does the lower insurance rate our agent just gave us!! They used quality paint and took care in all aspects of the work they did. This looks like a new house!! I've heard such horror stories from some friends, but with Green Phoenix you will have nothing but good reports to tell your friends.

The work went great. Craig and all of the crew members were very nice and professional. Craig is great at seeing the big picture and giving pointers and suggestions on how to tie everything together. If we ever need any work done to the house in the future there is no doubt we will hire Green Phoenix to get it done.

The work crew was on-time and was very knowledgable about the gutters as well as the wood shingle roof. The job was complete in one day with no issues. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism as well as their attitude toward service. The owner is very helpful and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

When Craig came out to look at the job. there were a several problems I had to solve. The biggest was that I had 3 old solar panels on the roof that were causing leaks. I wanted to get rid of them. Other contractors I had talked to wanted to bring in a crane and turn it in to a big production. Craig said he could take care of it without a crane and he did. There were several other problems that needed to be addressed. The attic was too hot, so 2 power vent fans were added on the roof. The roof above the garage was too weak, so additional bracing was added in the attic. Also there was a narrow channel (a foot or so wide) between the chimney and a raised roof line used to create a patio cover. This was creating a problem because the rain water would run thru the channel and down the chimney, eroding the mortar between the bricks. Craig was able to divert all the water around the chimney and into the gutter, solving that problem. No other contractor I talked to came up with that solution. Craig's crew were polite and courteous . All and all the roof and gutters look great, the crew worked extremely hard even though the temperature were in the mid to high 90's. Everything was cleaned up when the job was complete. Craig was very help full and easy to work with from start to finish. I couldn't ask for a better experience . I would highly recommend. Fred H.

I requested a site visit for screening my Patio, was scheduled in 2 days, was on time for the apptmt. I showed him a picture of what I wanted on my Patio and he was upfront in telling me that there are other contractors who would be more economical for me to choose for my specific request, even offered to help me find one! Admirable work ethic, will hire for any future needs without a blink.

My roof was leaking because the previous owners had laid Composite over Shake shingles and the staples on the Shakes were pushing up on the Composite shingles causing the roof to leak. Which unfortunately not covered by Insurance... Nor noticed by the inspector.. Anyway it all had to be removed. Despite all the rain we got that week Craig and his team were able to finish the job. They also installed new gutters. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and I don't say that about many contractors. Thanks Janie S.

It was in the middle of all the rains that started the flooding so he was getting behind on his clients. I had a leak in one of my rooms so he moved up my installation by about 4 days (which was great cause it rained the whole weekend). The owner was very hands on, very friendly and knowledgeable, and he gave several suggestions and then let me make the final decision. They started first thing in the morning on Thursday and stayed until 8 o'clock that night getting it done as it was threating to rain and they didn't want that to happen with just half the roof done. It was done right and I am absolutely glad I chose him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needed work done to their roof or guttering.

I suspected a leak was coming into my attic from the roof, so I purchased the inspection package coupon to have them go out and take a look at it. He identified that the problem was HVAC related (even though that is not roof related) and he tracked down the precise source of the leak for me. He also did a complete inspection of my roof and ensured all was in working order.
