+ -1 moreI just thought everyone should know that they should, at the very least, shop both companies before pulling the trigger. By the way, Energy Savers told me that the white metal grids would have cost an additional 70% to be installed!! So all in all, I got much more for about a 33% savings!!
Description of Work: As someone who normally shops around, I had two companies come by and give me an estimate for two solar screen for my south facing windows. Mr. Foster was first. The visit was pleasant. The estimate was written on the back of his business card, which I thought was bit unprofessional, but I suppose that's his standard operating procedure. After reviewing the estimate with my wife later that evening, I called Mr. Foster the following day to inquire about the different colors he had available for his screens. His response was (with a bit of a "tone"), "Well I could have gone over that with you when I visited if you would have asked me." Wow. I've been in sales myself for 25 years. As a salesperson, I feel it's MY job to conduct a FULL presentation when I go on a sales call and provide the relevant details of my product. I don't put the responsibility on the client. Nor would I subsequently make them feel as if THEY did something wrong by not asking. So that turned me off right then and there. I met with Scott from Sooner Solar Screens a couple of days later (you can Google the company). He gave my wife and I a full presentation and explanation of the product. And. his prices were so much more affordable that we were able to get the screens with the white metal grid built in plus do a 3rd (west facing) window plus do the narrow entry-way window for the same price as two windows without the grid from Mr. Foster. I didn't even think of the entry-way window when Mr. Foster was here. He never mentioned it as an option. Scott brought it up because he thought we might want the front of our house to have uniformity. He was 100% right! He did the work on a Sunday. And it looks great! I'm not a friend or family member nor do I have any type of relationship with Scott. In fact, this was the first time I ever met him.

+ -1 moreEnergy Savers of Oklahoma did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them to anyone. The solar screens were so affordable and have made such a difference in the temperature of the room. The retractable shade has been amazing to shade not only the patio but the interior room beyond the patio as well. There is a noticeable reduction in temperature of the inside room and it reduces the glare without blocking the outside view beyond the shade.
Description of Work: Energy Savers of Oklahoma installed custom made solar screens on (2) west facing windows and a retractable solar shade for a west facing patio.

+ -1 moreThe front of our home faces the west. In the afternoon the upstairs was at least 110 degrees. Our solar film needed replacing. We were given Steve's name and company. Since he lives nearby it was easy for him to find us. His screens were put on all the upstairs windows, blocking out the heat and UV rays. Our upstairs living are is so comfortable, the ceiling fans are hardly ever needed. We were so pleased with the front of the house, we had them put on the back of the house upstair windows. I recommend this company highly and to anyone. Steve is great to work with and very reasonably priced.
Description of Work: Energy efficient screens to fit all the windows on our home. Cut our electric bill in half.
