Estimated received on Thursday and service was performed the following Tuesday. Came home from work and work was completed and no mess in the yard. Follow up call from the owner to see if work was satisfactory.

Salas Tree Service was very helpful to us when we called to get an estimate for tree trimming. Joaquin and Monica both were very professional. I had a bid the same day and less than a week later, they arrived as scheduled, did a great job and completely cleaned up our yard after trimming two big trees and a smaller one. The price reflected includes an Angie's List coupon.

Sala Tree Service did great work. They came and gave me an estimate the same day I called and came to do the actual job 4 days later. Very reasonable pricing. I was very pleased with the quality of work they did and would definitely use them again.

Joaquin and Monica know how to deliver good old fashioned customer service. We contacted Monica, who gave us a 30 minute window for Joaquin's arrival. Joaquin was able to come out the same day we called.He gave us a very fair estimate and we made an appointment to have the work done. Joaquin and his crew arrived right on time. They had very nice equipment which included a bucket truck, a wood chipper, and a gas powered pole saw along with the chain saws and safety equipment. There were several men on the crew. One of the pear trees on the side of the house had branches overhanging the house. Because we live on a corner, they were able to put the bucket truck on the street between the two overgrown pear trees. Another crew member climbed into the oak tree. I stayed in the house while they worked, so I couldn't see how they did everything. But, the results were amazing and they left the yard clean and picked up. Since they did the work, we have had a huge ice storm. Our neighborhood has so many trees that look like they exploded. Not ours! The pear trees had a 1 inch diameter branch on the ground. The approximately 40 ft oak was bent nearly to the ground, but did not split. The oak has a couple of broken limbs near the top and we have already called Salas to help us out again. We highly recommend Salas Tree Service.

Very fast response in setting an appt. Monica contacted me immediately after I submitted a request for service. Joaquin came out the same day to provide an estimate. I agreed to bid and a time was set for service. Crew showed up on time and performed a great job. Arnie, who did the pruning was very knowledgeable. He offered excellent suggestions and was both professional and personable. They also cleaned up and left my yard and driveway neat. I am very pleased with the results and the result exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use their services again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Due to size of tree and proximity to the house we got several extimates and Salas was one of the lower ones with the best reviews. Monica and Joaquin were very pleasant to work with. The crew arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently and even tried to work in the rain! But due to storm the one day job turned in to two. Clean up was good, but didn't expect the mulch from the stump grinding to cover a third of the yard! Will use again if tree service needed.

The quote was the lowest compared to other services. The work was completed a week early due to an unexpected opening. The staff did a great job at making sure no excess foliage or limbs were left. They cut the remaining wood for us to use for burning, and mulched the rest. I would use them again.

Everything was great. They were here on time and completed everything they were supposed to do. Monica in the office was also wonderful to deal with.

I would like to preface this review with the nightmare that myself and many others have encountered while contracting with a tree service. I have seen my fence destroyed, a tree limb fall on my house and a tree limb take out another tree all together. This was not the case with Salas Tree Service. Firstly, they provided prompt responses to both my request for quote and the actual scheduled removal. The crew consisted of Caesar, Jorge, and Arnie (you need hazardous duty pay), whom all were very courteous and extremely knowledgeable regarding the job at hand. I knew the tree in question was dead; to say the least, but Salas's crew was up to the task as evident by the end result. The service was completed in what I would categorize as "crazy fast", and the debris was removed as promised. Although originally concerned as property owner, Salas tree service quickly quelched any and all concerns I had. If and when I need additional services, there is no doubt who I will contact!! Extremely well. They had four men and two trucks. One truck pulled the stump grinding machine and the other carried the branch mulching machine and then hauled the mulch that was created. They started and finished the entire job in under 30 minutes.

They arrived exactly on time at 8 a.m. They had 7 workers and completed a huge amount of work in 2 1/2 hours. They cleaned up so well, you couldn't tell they had been here. My Hackberry was hanging over the fence onto my neighbor's roof and they cleaned up everything that fell in their yard as well. These people are efficient, polite and a pleasure to do business with.

This Company is Awesome. They came out the same day that I asked for a quote. I had several other companies come out also to give me a quote, but Salas was the only company that provided a Certificate of Insurance along with their written quote. They came out yesterday as scheduled and had the tree cut down and dead limbs removed in about 6 hours. They are very hard workers and I was very pleased. They cleaned up everything so well, you really couldn't tell I had a tree cut down. I will definitely use this company again. I even had my neighbor come over and ask who they were, because they did such an awesome job. Thank You Salas Tree Service!!

Contacted Salas Tree Service on 7/22/2015. They had a representative come over that same afternoon. Work was performed on 7/24/2015. They were prompt, punctual, friendly and thoroughly professional. I am exceedingly pleased with the job they did. I would highly recommend this company, and I intend to use their services in the future as the need arises.

Salas Tree Service gave us a free estimate for the removal of a dead pine tree (plus stump grinding) and an old red bud tree that was growing over the fence into our neighbors yard. They did the job as promised and we were very pleased with their work.

Purchased Angie's List promotion for stump removal on Sun evening. Salas Tree contacted me on Monday even though it was a holiday. They came out that evening to evaluate and provide estimate for tree services. They returned Wednesday and removed one tree. They could not remove the stump because the tree was in a courtyard and they could not get the equipment in the small space. They fully explained the reason and adjusted the tree removal price to include the payment already received. Salas Tree Service did an excellent job. They cleaned up great and were very courteous. I recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. I will be calling them back for additional tree work.

From the first phone call until the end of the job, Salas Tree Service was excellent. Monica in the office is very sweet and efficient, and Joaquin was punctual in coming to give me an estimate (even came out in a rain storm!). The crew arrived around 9:00 AM and was completely finished by 1:00 PM including cutting and stacking the pieces of wood for us to use in our fireplace next winter. The crew was very professional and extremely competent. I could tell right away they knew what they were doing. The pecan tree was located near a stockade fence and between my house and the neighbor's with large branches hanging over the roofs of both houses. They pulled off the job with no problems whatsoever. When a couple of questions came up regarding the work I needed done they were very courteous and went out of their way to confirm exactly what I wanted. When Joaquin came to give me an estimate I had only asked to have one branch of the maple tree removed because it hung over my roof. He suggested trimming the maple further and I am so glad I accepted. The tree is so beautiful now and the way it was trimmed has allowed more light to reach my yard. I will definitely call on Salas the next time I need work done and would recommend them to anyone.

the tree was at least 50 years old and was allowed to grow on the side of my son's house which he recently purchased. The tree was huge and a large portion was reaching way over the roof and could have severly damaged the house if it broke loose in a storm. Monica at Salas Tree Service coordinated everything and was extremely responsive to our concerns that the house not be damaged in the process of removing the tree. The crew arrived early and their tools were ready to do the job (no breakdowns!). They worked together to remove portion of the tree by climbing and roping branches and safely lowering them down to the ground. They said it would take about 3 hours and they were done on time and cleaned up before they left. I would defindtaly recommend Salas Tree Service and intent to use them again.

Called on Tues and they had a crew out on Thursday of the same week. Very polite people and professional.

I had a big, old tree in the back yard of a rental property that was diseased and needed to be removed before it fell down and hurt someone or did property damage. This provider was on time for the initial appointment to look at the tree and give an estimate. While some services said that they were "booked 8 weeks out" this service got right on the job the next week. On the agreed upon day they were on time and had everything finished by noon. They did a very good job of removing the stump and big leader roots and then filling in the hole. I can see why they don't make you wait forever, since they are very efficient and do their work quickly and well. They also did an excellent job of protecting the yard and fences and cleaning up. I would recommend this company to anyone and will definitely used them again in the future.

Good experience! Company called me right away and scheduled the service for sooner than expected. In and out, very happy with the job.

I contacted three different Angie's list tree service providers to provide an estimate to remove 4 large sweetgum trees from my front yard. Salas provided a written estimate the same day as the request. Their estimate was the most competitive of the three bids. In addition, they proactively provided me with their proof of insurance and tree service license required by my local city ordinance with the estimate. I coordinated a time with Monica the office manager. Joaquin and his crew showed up at the agreed upon time and started work on the 4 sweetgums. One them had a number of large branches over my neighbor's garage, but they took them all down safely and quickly. I had a redbud in my backyard that had significant areas of rot on the trunk and it was near my fence and in the middle of the electrical line running from the main line to my house. Joaquin provided a very fair estimate to remove the additional tree and grind the stump. They took out the redbud safely without hitting the electrical line or the fence and ground that stump as well. They finished all of the work in 3 1/2 hours and removed all of the debris. It looked like the trees had never been there. It was a very good experience and I would use them again.

The job went very well. The company was very responsive. They came out within an hour after I called to give me an estimate and performed the work the next day. They were very professional, courteous and really showed a strong desire to please their customers. After they finished they cleaned up the job site to the point you could only tell they had been there by looking at the trees. I would use them again if I needed tree service and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree service.
