Eric The Plumber

The old hot water tank was old and leaking water. A new one was installed.

At that time I sent detailed report and some photos to you. As mentioned, I have now moved out of his area and can no longer use him. He always found solutions and took care of problems as they came about. Always was dependable and when the situation called for a referral to another service, his referrals were honest, on point and affordable, also.

Eric has become our plumber of choice over the past few years for all those things that go wrong like frozen pipes, leaking faucets, stopped up drains, replacement of toilets, etc. Recently, however, we discovered he is also a master plumber in fguring out a back-up-from-kitchen-sink problem in our home which was built in 1940 and which we have owned for 49 years. The house is a Victorian, two story plus finished basement home. The 70 year old cast iron pipe that had been invaded by roots throuh a hole was located and followed by Erick from the kitchen through the crawl space under the house, repaired , new pipe instealled, and the location was returned to its landscaped beauty. Eric's plan for the fix required removal of shrubry and plants, digging, repair, and restoration. His crew did it in a timely and efficient manner, and the charges were reasonable for the difficulty of the situation. The slight overage from the estimate was explained to us in detail before the repair was made. Eric has been able to figure out this old house in the past, but our problem of June 3rd proved once more that he is trulya master plumber who takes pride in meeting challanges and his work. He treats both his crew and hiscustomer with respect. We would absolutely recommend him.

Along with being my plumber for the past six years Eric the Plumber has become a personal friend so please understand what I have to say within that context. Eric is different; he is a bit eccentric, but let me say one thing about him: he is one of the last of the true master craftsmen. He knows exactly what he is doing; he knows exactly what he is talking about. One thing about Eric is that he absolutely does not quit. He will get the job done, regardless; he will do whatever it takes.

I called Eric and he returned my call promptly, saying he could stop by and look at my problem. I had already removed the sheet rock behind the bath tub and he did the work right away.

Eric was able to fit us into his schedule on the same day I called him after our sewer system backed up. He called before he headed to our home so I was able to leave work and meet him just as he was showing up. In less than 20 minutes he diagnosed and fixed the problem which turned out to be a clogged main line. He cleaned the obstruction and got our sewer system working again. His prices, I think, are competitive but he certainly makes more per hour than I do!

I really liked Eric Plumber. He came out in the afternoon and knew right away what the problem was. He even wiped the water up off the floor for me. He was professional and courteous. I would recommend him to anyone. He does quality work.
