EMCO TERMITE AND PEST CONTROL

Initially, at the beginning of the week on Monday of 10/23/23, I was told that an EMCO pest specialist would be out Friday by 2. I talked to my boss, agreed to take a half day in order to meet up with the specialist. I was texted the day before on Thursday stating another job wouldn’t be done till late and if it’s okay, could I reschedule for Monday instead. I agreed to this. He was to be at my house by 9 and due to the weather, his termite spray tank was frozen. I again agreed to reschedule at 3 that same day and once again, was told that another job was taking a long time to complete and he would have to reschedule again. I agreed to one more time of rescheduling. This time, my wife was off work on that Wednesday and he was to meet at the house by 10 am to get it done. The man didn’t call and didn’t show. I called him and text him and never heard back. I’m out literally a couple hundred dollars due to the time off ive taken for him. FAIR WARNING…AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.

When Ken, the owner came out to do the annual termite inspection and/control, we informed him of our need for general pest control. He noted he would spray the exterior of the house for $125, also noting that if a thorough job is done on the exterior, pests will not enter your home. Additionally, as he left he asked that we telephone him if we had any problems with pests. Less than a month after he sprayed, we did have a problem, so I telephoned the office citing the problem. The office gal continued to say we had no pest control and we would be charged an add. $125.00 if we wanted them to return. I cited both the fees we paid and the verbiage of the invoice, "annual renewal guarantee and exterior pest control." The office gal has been argumentative and uncooperative for over 2 months, noting their company doesn't provide annual pest control. I explained to her that is NOT what Ken told us and they then need to rectify their invoice verbiage. She has been derogatory each time she's called. There are far too many exterminators in the OKC area to continue to have to be harrassed by one company. It's extremely disappointing to pay for a service and then have a company whom refuses to provide the service; especially in a poor economy when consumers need to use their income wisely.

I have used Emco Termite and Pest Control for 10 years and the price is the same as it was back then. They treated this house when it was built and we're very pleased with their service. We've used them for a long time and we'll continue to use them.
