Brad's Swimming Pools

Brad is a nice guy, but will not stand behind his work. We paid him $20,000 to repair our pool, but the tile is falling off and plaster is cracking. He is impossible to reach. Once we reach him he promises to come out, but never does.

Brad uses quality craftsmen and always took my calls and answered my questions during the process. New quartz plaster, coping, & tile along with leaping rock to replace diving board. a good Company.

Very knowledgeable of what needed to be done. Fixed a shabby job from another pool company. Work was done fast and the right way. Highly recommend Brad’s swimming pools!!!!

Very Professional, and arrived on time.

Brad and his helper came out today to close my salt water pool. I had requested a quote from Angie's List and they sent it to 3 pool companies. Brad was the only one to call me back. He gave me a reasonable quote over the phone and then stuck to it. They knew exactly what they were doing and had the pool closed within a couple of hours.

Everything looks beautiful and we can't wait to enjoy it next summer.

Never completed. Supposed to get new fixtures for 18 months now. Immediately before the remodel, new loop loc cover was purchased and fit perfectly. After the remodel there are large enough spaces between the pool wall and cover to easily lose my best schnauzer friend forever. .Also, it is no longer able to support the weight of even 1 adult in spite of many ads showing them to support an elephant. The appearance is saggy and unattractive but the safety issue is by far my main concern. My dogs life as well as a childs is at risk.

Brad's solution worked great! This saved me a least $50. I had talked to other pool servicing vendors and they all mentioned a cost involved. Brad always has tried to save me money. I have used Brad in the past. He has opened and closed my pool, and he installed my salt water system. It is always great to deal with him.

Brad was great. He was able to come by quickly to see what work needed to be done and did the work quickly and even came back later to check his work. We have used him in the past for other work, but this is the first review we've done.

The work was done in a timely fashion with great quality. Brad returns call quickly and his workers are polite and work quickly and clean up well when completed.

My husband called and has worked with Brad for a couple of years. This year he called Brad at the beginning of April to get us on the schedule for opening. Our pool wasn't opened until after labor day! The pool immediately began losing water so we did as he advised and turned off the pump. He couldn't get out until the next week so our pool was off until he got back. He wasn't sure where the leak was coming from and began digging around the pool platform without even talking to us first. We called Leslie's and they identified our leak was the multiport. They ordered the part and came back to install. However it is filled with algae! Our pool has not been usable to us all summer. Brad does good work when he shows up. However he is not responsive to our texts or calls so I'm leaving this feedback!

This gentleman was very nice, he came, and he was very quick to come. He told me what was wrong with it and he was nice. He did a good job. I paid Angie’s List for him to come and that is all I paid, he didn’t charge me anymore.

Brad is great to work with, he shows up on time and is professional. He explains how the pool works and cost effective ways to keep the pool clean and running.

Went very well, the pool looked so upgraded afterwards.

First, let me state that getting someone to fix your pool fountain is not an easy task--we had been trying for months to get a stone mason to repair our fountain without much luck Our realtor got a reference for Brad and I gave him a call He came out and evaluated the project within a fairly quick time frame His estimate seemed to be in line with the few we had received His workers showed up promptly, worked very efficiently, and did a superb job They left the property looking clean and tidy One thing I appreciated was how Brad was paid He said the money was due when the project was completed--that is the sign of a man who stands behind his work and knows it will be done well I Highly recommend Brad for your pool repair needs!

My experience with Brad's Appliance and Pool Service has not been good. He promises to come clean my pool and then he doesn't show up. He has cleaned it in the past, but after I quit buying a lot of stuff from him, he hasn't shown up. He blasted for my pool and put in a hot water system. Now he doesn't show up to help me with it. He says he will be here, but he's not. He blasted for my pool and put in a hot water system for it.

Called for some estimates with three different companies. First was recommended large pool company, second was Brad (had used him before for pool pump replacement), and third was another of the large pool companies. 1st company came out and gave estimate as did Brad, 3rd company did not respond. Since had used brad before and his price was half the pool company price, it was a and quot;no brainerand quot;. Called Brad in Nov or Dec to get it scheduled in later Feb. Weather was bad last week of Feb so they started in March and completed in 10 to 12 days. We were not in a hurry just wanted complete before season. Brad was always responsive and friendly, a pleasure to work with. The folks were nice and courteous. I think he subcontracts the work.

I had some damage to the liner of my pool due to vandelism and my niece contacted Brad for an estimate to clean out the pool and get a price for a liner. After getting a price to clean it out Brad was given the go ahead to do so, but it took some time for him to come back out and get the job done. I opted to wait on the liner, because we are not using the pool, but determined the pool cover needed repair. Brad was to get me a price and schedule it for repair, but after several calls went unanswered I stopped trying as I never heard from him again.

Excellent quality work. Respectable work crews who cleaned their work site. Work completed for estimated cost. My only complaint, it was difficult to get him here for estimate and to start work. He is getting very busy. He is worth the wait. Just wish he would be upfront about his time constraints.

I contacted Brad in early May to get an estimate on replacing my pool liner. It took a couple of reminder calls to get him to come by. It was his busy time of year. He measured the pool and left some samples for me to look at. He called back with a bid a couple of days later that was very reasonable. I had had some other companies give me bids and Brad's was considerably lower. I went with Brad because of his price and the A rating he has on Angie's list. I ordered the liner around the middle of May and Brad said it would take about 1 week to get it in. I had hoped to have it in before the Memorial Day weekend which was about 10 days out, but it never came. It didn't come the next week either. When it finally arrived, it had been more than 3 weeks and Brad had drained the pool to where there was about 1-2 feet of water left in the deep end that (by this time) was full of algae. My pool sat like that for about 2 weeks before Brad returned to install the new liner. While installing the liner, Brad made to big of a cut on the shallow end and had to piece meal some strips along one side to make it work. He then had some other problems that caused more delays (the epoxy putting didn't dry right). During this time, however, the pool was partially filled and algae was starting to grow. By the time he finally got everything to a point where the pool could be filled, it was full of dark brown algae and made the water look like a dirty pond. Brad had to put in a lot of shock and run my filter for several days before it cleared up. Since the time that Brad finished the liner installation (June 15), the liner has come loose in a few spots and I have had to call him several times to get him back out to fix it. One place has pulled loose again and I have called him several times to come back and fix it, but he always says he will get to it the next week but never shows. I'm still waiting as of August 10. Brad is a nice guy and has great prices, but my experience has been less than satisfactory. From start to finish, the project took 5 weeks and required me to call him numerous times. I was patient and understanding of the problems, but I felt that it could have been done much faster. I think Brad means well, but it seems he has more work than he can handle.

Brad carefully explained all the work he planned to do and gave me suggestions of what I might like such as changing to the salt system. I did not feel pressured to make decisions and he was careful to help me stay within my budget. He was present when the sandblaster and plaster crews began their work and assured me they were experienced and would do a good job, which they did. Brad often checked on the progress of the job and let me know what was next and what I could expect. He often checked on the state of the pool during the "curing" period and vacuumed and cleaned it as needed, then added the salt and showed me how to monitor the system when it was ready for swimming. I have had several questions about the new system and have found that he always answers his phone and is ready with an answer.

He's always been very nice and a pleasure to work with. He'll go above and beyond to try and save you some money and has always done a great job. The only down side is that he does such a great job, he's high in demand! :)Something goes wrong on my pool or appliance, he'll be the first call I make.
