It went real smooth. Everything went really well.

I contacted this office today to schedule a bid to replace some windows in my home due to the pending sale of it. I had received a bid previously from this establishment (prior to listing), and was informed not to do the repairs until after the sale and inspection of the home. We contacted Binswanger to re do the previous bid due to the buyers wanting a "fresh" bid. At any rate, when I contacted the office to schedule the bid time, I was informed that they could come out next week and they gave me two days. I selected one of the days, and stated I was leaving to go out of town so the other day wouldn't work. Once I stated this to him he said, "If you can't work around my schedule I'm going to have to charge you a $50.00 fee for coming out" (the previous bid was free, and the individual on the phone even stated they did free bids)! I was so appalled that this establishment purposefully tried to take advantage of our situation that I told him he was utterly ridiculous and hung up on him! Please be careful of them, because they are obviously not an honorable company! Furthermore, with all of the damage and destruction in the local area due to the two recent EF 5 tornado's, I felt it was imperative to let people know so they would not be taken advantage of in their time of need as well!
