My landlord called for a gas line repair on Monday 6/19/23 and was told tech would be here Wednesday between 1:45pm and 5:45pm. Wednesday they no call/no showed us. Landlord called them and they said they would be out first thing Thursday morning. 8:45 am Thursday morning 2 gentlemen show up and said that the plumber, Mark was at a doctor's appt and they were sent to only take pictures. We walked them through and around the house and it took them a good 30 min to take all the pictures. I ask when the plumber, Mark would be here and they said he would call before heading this way. Well it is now 3:51 pm and I haven't heard from anyone at the company so I called my landlord, who called the company and was told that someone went outside and yelled at the 2 guys that took pictures.. This never happened and is a blatant lie. Not sure if they are just trying to get out of the job or why but I would not recommend this company to anyone. Nothing but issues and the job isn't even started yet!

I was rehabbing a house and I placed the kitchen drain line too high up under the sink. Pat and John inspected the plumbing situation and also the photographs I provided that I had taken prior to my closing up the wall with drywall. They were able to relocate my kitchen sink drain to connect to a slightly different drain system and thus solved my problem. I'm fairly handy and I would have eventually figured out this repair on my own, but I think they saved me an hour or two of work and another hour of shopping at the local home center store. They also installed all of the drainage pipes under my kitchen sink included with this price. Pat also talked me out if replacing the seals in both of my outdoor faucets. He explained in detail how these faucets were not leaking as I had suspected but just rather draining slowly. He advised against replacing them. Pat had come out last year and installed a cut off valve for the gas service to my kitchen range and the cost was $140. The overall setup he installed was too large to allow a gas range to be pushed back the wall in the kitchen as the setup stuck out too far. When he returned to fix the under sink issue he flipped the gas pipe direction 180 degrees which allowed the gas range to be closer to the wall but it also put the cut off valve on the bottom of the gas pipe instead of the top and the range was still 4" or so from the wall. In order to turn off the gas for the kitchen range, I would have to literally lean over the kitchen counter so far as to be in a "dive" position behind the range just to turn off the gas. This is not good. He has been here twice about this gas range and the first time he built a cut off arrangement too large to allow the stove within 6-8" of the wall. Now the range is still 4" from the wall but the cut off valve is now on the bottom of the apparatus he built. I will have to either correct this situation myself or hire another plumber to redo what he did. Pat is very professional but I thought the prices he charged were way too high. Too high for me to consider hiring him again.
Description of Work: Inspected plumbing and drain area under the kitchen sink and attempted second repair at stove/range gas line.

Very professional and responsive. The price quoted for the job was $375. I informed technician that this was too high. Owner called and reiterated the price. I informed him I have many rental, and that the price was far too high. Owner did not come down on the price and I informed him that I would take my business elsewhere. I called Ray's Sewer service. They responded in 20 minutes and performed the job for $135. I would not recommend Andersen Plumbing based upon my experience (price only).

Anderson Plumbing sent two workers to do the job. They were very professional and did a great job. The job took approximately 4 hours. When we turned on the shower later in the day, the knob came out of the wall. I called Anderson back to let them know about this and there was someone at my home within about 10 minutes to fix it. Everything now works perfectly and we are very pleased with the service provided.

I called them at 8:00 in the morning and scheduled an afternoon appointment. They called before they came at 2pm and were very nice and upfront about cost. They cleaned out the clog in the plumbing and repaired the wax ring around my toilet. The ring was very messed up and they had to do some extra stuff. They talked to me about everything before they did it and I felt like my Dad was helping me. They never made me feel silly about my lack of plumbing knowlege. I have saved their number in my phoen and will use them in the future! A+ service!!!

We just moved to OKC from Tulsa, and had a backed up toilet 3 days after we moved in. We had no idea who to call. We got a recommendation on Anderson Plumbing from our homeowner's association. I called that morning, and someone was at the house later that day. The plumber was prompt, courteous, clean, easy to work with and professional in every way. He fixed the toilet and checked out the toilet paper to make sure it wasn't causing the issue. We were very happy overall with Anderson Plumbing. So much so, that we called them a week later when our kitchen sink backed up. They came out the same day I called and fixed the problem ASAP. I highly, highly recommend Anderson Plumbing.

Excellent service. Took care of my issue and cut the service call bill due to the minor repairs that was required. Checked other area that I had concerns about before they left and done a minor repair to my garbage disposal, that fixed a problem I had been having for several months. This company has done quite a bit of work for us over the years... They installed the hot water heater in a very short time. They first came to determine what the problem was. They had other appointments scheduled that day, but they promised to be back after lunch. They returned, and very quickly had the new water heater connected and working. We've always been happy with the service and price.

He was very prompt and polite. I had a leaky Delta faucet and he said we could order the part from Delta and if my husband couldn't replace the part he could come back out. It was free from Delta. He explained all details and gave us the estimate before repairint 2 outside faucets. He also repaired a bathroom sink problem. It was enjoyable experience and I would recommend him to our friends.

I called Anderson Plumbing on Monday (7/29) and received a message that they were on family vacation and would be returning the very next day. Since my current issue was not urgent I left a voice-mail and just as I have had similar experiences in the past, Pat Anderson (owner) returned my phone call early the very next day (7/30). He had a crew in the area that could be by my home in very short order and this proved to be 100% accurate. Craig (one of Pat's employees) has done much of the work on my home multiple times in the last 2 years, showed up within 30 mins and had not only diagnosed my problem in short order, but had it repaired within the hour even though he had to leave in order to obtain the appropriate new cartridge for my particular shower fixture. Craig is very personable, professional, and trustworthy which seems to be a primary mission with this company. In the past I had trouble with one particular brand-new toilet installed by my renovating contractor due to a bad seal (that likely went bad from my own ignorance) and they worked on it multiple times. Even though the original repair was not the final step in the repair process (I think it required 3 or 4 visits) b/c of damaging cleaning tablets I myself added to the water tank subsequently, Craig and Pat himself made multiple trips to fix this piece of equipment and only charged me once for the visit/assessment fee. Pat and his employees have always been very professional and trustworthy and on multiple occasions I have even left my home open for them in my absence to make repairs while I was at work and I did not have the slightest bit of concern about my property in my absence. They have been my plumbing company of choice for multiple years now and will continue to remain so.
Description of Work: On this most recent visit the provider repaired a broken shower fixture cartridge that was causing the tub faucet to constantly run. In the past they have done repair work for me on a toilet with a bad seal, and replaced my hot water heater.

My husband tried to replace the faucets on a Sunday, but couldn't find the right parts. We had to leave the water turned off, so Pat came right over when we called on Monday. His guys came a little later with the right parts, enlarged the Sheetrock hole my husband had started and changed out the plumbing. Their work looked like a piece of art, and they secured the pipes so they don't shake. The work was quick, quiet, polite, and professional, and they cleaned up afterward.

They were able to get me in the day after I called. I was worried it might take longer. The gentlemen were polite and put me at ease. There isn't enough space to tell how nice and thoughtful they were. After checking the situation they explained what they were going to do and gave me an estimate. When they finished they explained what had caused the problem and other things that could cause blockage. I did NOT have to do any cleanup from their services. I will call them again if services are needed. Hopefully not the nightmare I had experienced for three days. I received a THANK YOU from them! It was me who was thankful.

They came out to replace the on/off valve behind the refrigerator. They were quick to respond and very polite. They did show me the cost before doing the work; plumbing is just expensive. Our refrigerator is very large. We were advised when we bought it that we would need two men when moving it out. They sent two men to work on it. When they were about to leave I remembered I had a question about our utility room toilet that we had tried to fix and they took a look and I had already paid them for their time. We will use them again.

Overall it went great. They were on time and finished the work just as promised in a timely manner. I recommend him to anyone I know who needs a good plumber.
Description of Work: The water heater in my rent house (circa 1940's) was making some weird noises so I called Pat to come out and look at it. He told me and showed me exactly what was wrong and told me that ultimately it would need to be replaced. However he also noted that the work did not need to be performed right away and I could wait until the either hot water stopped working or the timing was good to do the work. He gave me a quote and said it was good for a certain time frame and sure enough, about 6 months later when the water heater broke, he performed the work in accordance with the original quote. He obtained all of the proper permits and explained/showed me all the work done. I was very pleased with his work and have used him on other occasions. I would recommend his work to anyone as he is a fair and honest person.

Within a day or two after a record overnight low temperature for this area, a couple of areas on the home's ceiling were seen to be darkening; by touch, we determined that it was because the sheetrock was wet -- this in a house with water pipes in the attic. Mr. Anderson could not come immediately due to the very large number of calls plumbers were getting around here, but he told us approximately when he could arrive if we asked him to do so, and after some questions and answers advised us what to do meanwhile. (Basically minimal water usage, with water shut off at the meter most of the time.) Later, when he knew he would be a bit late, he called to tell us so -- which not all service companies do. The attic involved has blown-in insulation throughout, and it probably averages an incredible TWO FEET in depth. Furthermore, there is quite a bit of water pipe hidden in that insulation, wandering around (with various branches) and ultimately running the full length of the house. Finding the source of the leaks under these conditions was anything but easy, and eventually numerous very small, almost minute, leaks were found in three different areas of the ceiling. (Two of these were seeping so slowly that they didn't produce any water spotting for several more days.) Mr. Anderson didn't just TELL us what he was finding; he invited me to come up to the attic so a family member could see for himself how the copper tubing was bulging in various areas and -- by watching long enough -- see the very slow seepage, which was producing maybe a drop per minute. This was fifteen to twenty feet from where the nearest wet spots were showing up inside the house, and had to be found by tracing the pipe, digging through all this insulation so the tubing could be inspected, and down to the sheetrock to look for traces of water. (They had to wear masks when working up there, due to all the tiny particles of insulation that were getting stirred up.) Eventually, very slow leaks were found in numerous runs of the tubing. We were then given two or three alternative approaches as to what work might be done, with the pros and cons explained. These went from a possible but not advisable and quot;band-aidand quot; that might hold through the rest of the winter if we had no more record low temps, up to a complete replumbing of the attic with more modern materials (pipe/tube and fittings) that had a better chance of enduring our worst winter. These alternatives were explained quite thoroughly, and he answered all the questions we had. Then, during the course of the work, I was contacted whenever they hit some complication that called for another decision that might affect the price. I expect the unexpected to happen, and that's just reality. But to be kept SO thoroughly informed and and quot;in the loopand quot; was something quite unexpected because we'd never been treated with such respect by anyone in plumbing. Ultimately, none of us had ever experienced such a high level of respect, communication, and professionalism from ANY service person -- other than maybe a physician who matched it. (Not even in my mother-in-law's recollections of and quot;the good old days.and quot;) As for pricing, and giving it a rating, we don't know what somebody else might have charged; but our feeling is that whatever it might have been -- however much lower it might have been -- the level of service we got justified the difference. A final note: Mr. Anderson showed me that in many places there was more of the blown-in insulation BELOW the water pipes than there was above it. This meant that in many areas the pipes were insulated from the home's interior heating more than they were insulated from the cold in the attic! He also showed me how to hold/dam the insulation up ABOVE the water pipes, putting only dead air between the pipes and the sheetrock -- with the heated interior just below it -- and putting the insulation above the pipes, to maximize protection from the cold. Later, I did most of that myself, which cost nothing but my time. I'm not sure every person in service business shows people what they can do to keep from needing his/her service again in the future.
Description of Work: When pipes froze in my mother-in-law's attic, and my wife and I were frantically trying to find a plumber (there were a lot of leaks around the Oklahoma City area at that time due to frozen pipes), our son recommended Anderson Plumbing. There turned out to be major problems, not just one minor leak. The repairs were done very professionally, and throughout the process Mr. Anderson maintained very timely communication with my wife (whose mother's house was involved) and myself. There have been no further problems with her attic plumbing since Anderson did their work, AND -- due to knowledge Mr. Anderson gave me -- the insulation that was already in the attic is now being better utilized to protect the pipes.
