ALLSTAR AUTO GLASS

Someone had thrown a brick through my back door window, including both the storm door and the window in the door itself. I discovered it on Memorial Day (Monday, 9/6/10), and the remnants of a hurricane were supposed to come to Oklahoma City in two days. This would be likely to result in water damage in the house if I couldn't get the glass replaced. On Memorial Day, I called some of the glass companies that advertised 24 hour service, but was told no one would come on a holiday. The next day, I tried some more of the glass companies that advertised emergency service. I was told they could come anywhere from two weeks to sometime in October! I found AllStar Glass in the yellow pages also, with an ad that said they replaced glass in doors. I checked the Better Business Bureau and found nothing bad about them, so decided to give them a try. When I called, the receptionist said she thought they could get to me by that afternoon, and she gave me an excellent price estimate. She told me they would call me before they went to my house. As it turned out, they didn't make it to the house that day, but when I called the next morning and reiterated my concern about the coming rain getting into the house, the receptionist talked to some of the employees, and they agreed to come that day. They called about noon to tell me they were on the way, and were at the house before I was. They had taken the broken glass out of both the storm door and the wooden entry door by the time I arrived. They had both panes of glass replaced within an hour of the time I arrived at the house. The guys were working in a slight drizzle, without complaining. I am quite happy that they were able to come out to get the window glass replaced in the doors that day, and that time. By mid-afternoon, it was raining quite hard, and rained for the rest of the day. So I could have had quite a bit of water damage in the house if they hadn't come when I needed them! I have some other windows that need to have work done on the glass (not quite as bad as totally broken out!), and will definitely call them again when I am ready for this work to be done!

They set an appointment for me and told me how long it would take. They performed the task just as they said they would.

All Star Auto Glass replaced the window, but it wasn't on track. I had to use one hand to roll the window, and one hand to pull the window. When we called, they knew about it already, and just didn't tell us. Very unprofessional, and I would not recommend them.
