Description of Work: Replaced outside faucet and attached copper line that had burst from being frozen. They arrived on time, determined the needs of the job, and went for supplies. They returned shortly and went right to work, completing the job within an hour. New faucet works well but is at a slight angle due to excess force needed to remove old fitting, thus the B rating for Quality and Overall. The price was acceptable and agreed upon beforehand, and most likely in line with other plumbers in the area. I will very likely use them again.

Description of Work: Very thorough and worked until job was finished. Informed me if any problems that came up and different options for fixing them which were broken down from most expensive to least expensive. Very friendly and easy to contact.

Description of Work: The city we lived in issued a letter to all the people on our block that we had to have all the sewer taps on our block replaced.

Description of Work: We have had several days with temps above 100 here in Oklahoma and we came home from work Wednesday to a house that was beginning to warm up. We cleaned out the filter and noticed that the outside unit wasn't coming on, so we checked the breakers and even took the side panel off and washed it all out with a high pressure hose. Nothing made it come on and by that time it was late so we watered our gardens and went over to a family members house for the night. The next morning I called MGB about 9 am and talked to their answering service and was told that they would probably be in at noon to pick up messages. I went on in to work and my boyfriend went back to the house to wait for them. By 1:30 pm, we had heard nothing from them so I called again and the service said that they had just picked up their messages and should be calling very soon. By 3:30, I called yet again and was assured that she would call them right away and she confirmed that the numbers she had given them were correct. By then it was sweltering in the house and we were worried for our house pets, not to mention that my boyfriend had waited over 6 hours for them. We went back to our family members house for the night and by the next morning had still not received a call from MGB so we called another recommended business who was able to come out to our house within about 2 hours and fixed what he could and I will be writing another review on him and how courteous and professional his service was. He apologized that he couldn't make it run because there was a short in the outside fuse box that needed an electrician to handle since the wiring for the unit was not up to code and frankly dangerous. Our house is about 55 years old and the original unit was probably wired that way but when the new unit was put in, that wiring should have been brought up to code and made safe but nothing was said to me about it and MGB just hooked it up and ignored code and safety rules. It will be between $1500 to $1750 more to get the wiring corrected and I cannot be more disappointed with MGB's service. Maybe MGB was swamped with calls but at the very least, a phone call to let us know they wouldn't be able to help us should have been made. I would have liked to have talked to them about this situation but since they will not return my calls, I have not been able to. Because of this we were without air conditioning for almost 3 days, our house cat who couldn't go with us to our family member's house because of allergies was left in a room with windows open and a fan blowing hot air on her, my boyfriend waited 6 hours in the heat for them to come and I just found out the heat in the house was bad enough to melt a bag of chocolate chips in my kitchen cabinet, things get real when you mess with a woman's chocolate. :>

Description of Work: We had a older faucet in our kitchen that was leaking. We thought a plumber could replace the gasket to stop the leak. The plumbing company came out the next morning. He found the leak, needed a replacement part. He called the supply house here in town with them telling him they could get it in a few days. He suggested that a new faucet could be put in place for around $150.00. We agree to a new one. He went to supply house, brought back a nice unit with pull-down sprayer. He had a hard time pulling out the old one, but did so. He had the new one in place within an hour or so. His name was Lane and a very friendly and helpful young man. We are pleased with the job and the price, $430.00 for his 3 hours labor and the unit too. We would call them back for any plumbing problems if ever needed again. Hats off to Lane!
