QUAID'S CARPET CLEANING

They were a few hours late. When I pulled up they were cleaning their equipment in my driveway. There is a pile of disgusting hair and dried sludge in the driveway from who knows what or where -and they certainly didn't pick it up. Then, the owner told the daughter to turn on the heater and warm my house up with me standing right there. She never asked me. The daughter went over and was messing with the ADT system and not the heater. I guess she didnt know the difference. The woman never asked if I would mind that she wanted to heat up my large home with the door open so she could be comfy while she worked. I would think a person would get hot working hard cleaning a carpet. She asked if I wanted to pay now and leave and she could shut everything- well- no...not after that display. I told her I would come back when she finished and pay her and close my home. When I got back the woman walked me through my home and pointed out the multitude of walkway stains that were still there and told me that they would go away as it dried (as if). I was really done with the whole thing. The worst part is that I felt that I had seen her somewhere or knew her from somewhere but I couldnt place her. When my husband saw the bill, he said, "Thats the place you called to clean the furniture that one time and the stains they left still havent come out." OMG! He was right. I swore I would never call them again. I had so much going on with buying the new house that I was just scatterbrained. I knew I had seen them somewhere. So, I felt like a real dummy for having done it to myself. We have gorgeous furniture that we wanted to keep nice so we thought we would have it cleaned. Big mistake. It still has brown stripes down it every ten or so inches from the sides of the vacuum being filthy. And, much like my carpet, I had to set all my cushions outside because they didnt extract a 1/4 of the water they used. It took forever to dry. I went over to check the carpets and move stuff in and the carpets were still sopping wet and it has been 2 days. I am livid. I don't ever want to see them, again. Hopefully, since I am now using Angie's List, I will remember that they are on the NEVER AGAIN list.

They had to change appt time. We were going to be out of town so we left them a key and they cleaned the carpets on a monday - we moved in on Friday. In the craziness of the move and then an emergency trip back to tn we kept forgetting to pay them! I would use them again but I dont know if they would use me, Lol! They were great, though!

Responded to my phone call within a few minutes and gave me an estimate over the phone. On the day we agreed to she called an hour ahead of time and said they were running a little ahead of schedule and if it would be ok to show up 30 minutes early. I let them in and she imeadiately reassess the size of the job and said it would be slightly more than the estimate. They were in the house about an hour and did a beautiful job.

They are extremely good. They call to tell you when they will be there, and they do what they tell you they are going to do to the best of their ability. We have been very happy with their work. Their prices are very appropriate as well.
