I have nothing but amazing things to say about Brent. He was a joy and pleasure to work with. We decided to sell our home and within 5 days we had multiple offers. Brent gave us great advice but was never pushy in what decision we should make. Brent worked so hard for us and even though their were complications along the way with our buyers. Brent communicated well with us and worked hard to get our house sold. We did sell our house for more then what we thought we would and that was all thanks to Brent and his team. We are beyond thankful and we have told many people to use him. If you are planning on selling or buying Brent is the guy to use. You will not regret working with this company. They will go above and beyond and we are so thankful we choose them.

Called for advise/assistance. My attempt to make contact took 5 calls. Upon phone conversation, I was met with an ego. (Puzzling) as I had read positive responses. I did not continue any contact as I find such a posturing intolerable.

Erin Robertson is the BEST! She did exactly what I asked her to do and didn't try to push me in any way, like to spend more so she could make a higher commission. Erin is very knowledgeable, personable and gets things done. She took care of everything and she did it quickly. She educated me on the home buying process, certain things to look for while viewing homes and took time to listen to me when I told her what features were most important to me. This was my first time selling a house, and Brent was very responsive, patient, thorough and professional. I appreciate that he answered my texts and emails on any topic, no matter how trivial. He let me make my own decisions but gave guidance along the way. He was very helpful and trustworthy. I would use him again.

I used Dave Ramsey's ELP (Endorsed Local Provider) service and was given a list of roughly 10 realtors. I emailed all of them, and within 10 minutes of the email Brent Carter called me. No other realtor even contacted me that day. We discussed what I was looking for and we started looking at houses that same week. Due to my deployment I didn't find a home that met all of my requirements. He was very understanding and patient. I called after I returned and he already had a list of houses in mind. I closed last week and was very happy with the service I received. He never tried to persuade me into purchasing a home out of my price range, he answered all my questions, responded very fast to all my calls/text/emails, was honest, offered great ideas, and was always very friendly. He was also very helpful in finding home inspectors, lenders, contractors,etc. I HIGHLY recommend Carter Real Estate Group to anyone.

My husband and I had looked for a home to buy for about six months. We had a terrible experience with our first realtor and because we were first time homebuyers, we were scared that's what our experience would be like with all other realtors. Thankfully, Brent proved to us that not all realtors are the same. We were looking for a home on some land, so viewing many of the homes required a long drive for us and for Brent. He never once seemed to mind though. He met with us after work during the week, which meant we didn't have to wait until the weekend to view a home. Brent was never pushy about choosing a home or how much we should offer. He said several times that he was working for us and it was our decision about how much to offer on a home, what repairs to ask for, etc. My previous realtor tried arguing with me on how much to offer for a home, so that was a pleasant surprise. Brent was very good about getting comparable sales to us, as well as other information, before we made an offer on a home. I really appreciated all the work he did for us before and after we made offers. He was honest and didn't try to sugar-coat anything when something did go wrong. Before we bought our home, we made an offer on one other house. When our offer was rejected, Brent mentioned that many times, people find something even better after the first choice falls through. In our case, he was right. Everything went smoothly with the home we eventually bought. The sellers were very agreeable and accepted our first offer. They paid all closing costs, and because we used a USDA loan, we actually got a small check at closing. We didn't have to pay for anything but the inspections. Brent seems to genuinely want what is best for his clients. He is willing to work hard to get you exactly what you are looking for. He's not going to try to make a home seem better than it really is just to hurry and close on a home. If you view a home and make a comment like "I love the tall ceilings, that's something we are looking for" or "the rooms are just too small for us", expect him to make a note of that and remember in the future. We plan on moving to another state within the next ten years, and we plan on calling Brent to help us sell when that time comes. Our experience with him surpassed what we were expecting, and I'm so thankful for that. Buying a home can be so stressful, the last thing a buyer needs is a realtor not doing their job. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. So, of course, I recommend him to you, Angieslist!

Brent Carter came and toured our home and brought comps and talked through the price we should list the home at. He didn't just look at the comps but he also took into consideration any updates we made and the condition of the home. He sold our home 2 days after he listed it for only $3000 less than the list price. He made sure closing occurred on time and that all the paper work was in order. He worked well with us and kept us informed during the entire process. He was easy to work with , honest and knowledgable . Would definitely use him again if we ever relocated to the OKC/Edmond area.

Brent Carter was the 2nd of 3 Realtors we met with when we began the interview process for selling our home in Mustang, OK.and by the end of the 3rd interview, we knew hands down that we could work with him. His approach and reflection of Dave Ramsey's philosphy on selling was very refreshing. He definitely has the heart of a teacher and walked us through the entire process ~ everything from pricing our home, additional input on staging, negotiations, and more. He was great at keeping us informed as to where we were in the process and was very encouraging all along the way! Our house sold in 8 DAYS! There were several other comparable homes for sale in the neighborhood, as well as new construction going on around us, but our home sold quickly and for a good price! Since we have moved out of state, I don't suppose we will ever again have a personal need for Brent's services, but I've given out a number of his business cards and passed on his name to several other people who were in need of a realtor in the area. It was a great experience, and Dave Ramsey's Endorsed Local Providers are the best!

Not knowing the first thing about buying a house, the wife and I decided we needed help when it was time to purchase our first home. We used the Endorsed Local Provider service from Dave Ramsey?s website. Four local real estate agents were contacted and each called me within 24 hours of the request. All four were friendly and professional but Brent Carter, right away, gave me the impression that he wanted to help us find our first home. He gathered information on what we were looking for in a home and sent us daily updates of homes meeting those requirements. He walked through several houses with us before we found the right home. We settled on a new construction house that was still under construction. Brent advised us on offer prices and gave us a great Home Inspector and VA Mortgage Specialist. One thing that was nice is that we never got the impression that he wanted us to spend more on the home to raise his commission. Being a skeptic I was waiting for it and it never manifested. (Awesome) Once we were under contract, Brent worked with the builder and his real estate agent to get us exactly what we wanted and then some in our new home. When the builder said he was not going to put a security system or deck on the house as was stated in the listing; Brent got costs of those improvements and negotiated other improvements that were not going to be installed (sod, gutters, garage door opener etc. don?t ask, it?s a long story). We are extremely satisfied with the service Brent gave us and if we ever purchase another home in Oklahoma we will definitely give him a call, he put us at ease and answered every question and every phone call I made to his office, no kidding. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a home.

We relocated from Owasso, OK to Edmond this summer, and used Dave Ramsey's ELP referral service to find a realtor. Dave Ramsey's referral service sent us a list of several realtors, and we were initially contacted by Brent Carter in late spring/early summer of 2011, while we were still living in Owasso. We were impressed by his professionalism and easy-going style, so we selected him for our realtor. He listened carefully to our needs and set us up on an automated recommendation service with MLS that sent us new and updated listings based on our criteria (number of bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, purchase price range, etc.) before we ever made the move to Edmond. Once we arrived in Edmond, we rented an apartment and began our house hunt in earnest. Over the next 3 1/2 months, we dragged Brent around Edmond to countless number of homes in search of a suitable home. Brent was always patient with us and we never felt pressured to make a decision. He was always available by email or phone for questions. We had several "short-notice" showings that he gladly worked out for us without hesitation. He never tried to influence our opinions for or against a house unless he felt strongly that there was a problem with the home (helping us dodge more than one or two bad purchases). As he got to know us, he was attentive to our likes and dislikes and narrowed our focus on which houses to view. Brent also hooked us up with a lender who got us a great rate on a loan. Brent was very helpful during the price negotiation process, guiding us through the offers/counter-offers and standing firm for us when he felt we had made all the concessions we could afford. He was also very flexible in the closing process (there were a few glitches with a money transfer from our bank). Brent's honesty and integrity make it easy for me to recommend him to anyone who is thinking of working with a realtor to either buy or sell a home.
