Andy's Heating and Air Conditioning LLC

Description of Work: I used Andy's heating and air to trouble shoot my air conditioner in the peak of the highest temperatures in Altus. The technician came out the day after I contacted them do to the high volume of work the company had due to the hot temps. The technician was patient with me and answered all my questions as I stood out there talking to him while he was trouble shooting it. He trouble shot it down to a $0.50 pressure switch that a rat chewed on which damaged the compressor and contaminated the air conditioning line all the way through. The total charge was about $750, but when a compressor shells out, there will always be more damage downstream. He changed the switch, compressor, flushed the lines and refilled the Freon. All in all it was hard to swallow the price, but their work was fine.

Description of Work: I knew I was going to have to replace the front house HVAC have been having real issues with it over the last two years, when the A/C just gave out completely in September 2012. I had two 2 estimates giving to me, one from an AC repairman who did last work, and Sears who tried to sell me a 11000.00 dollar system. Finally after doing a bit more investigation a friend directed me to Andy's Heating and Air to have him come by and give me an appraisal. So I did and I was quite pleased with what I was told. He gave me the facts for what I was going to need to cool down the front part of my family's house after inspecting the HVAC system and checking each room and the drops and the ducting in the attic. He also told me I could keep my heater part of the HVAC because it was running around 93 percent efficiency, and told me I would save quite a bit of money right there, however I decided to go ahead and ask for more work done in that cramped attic that we have, getting a good humidifier for the main bathroom and proper venting for it as it never had one and some more drops changed out to match the rest of the others throughout the house. All the things done for 1200 square ft front part of house are as follows - New Luxaire 3 ton 13 seer split system Built a new plenum Changed out the copper tubing for the new refrigerant Installed a new humidifier for our main bathroom which never had one and had to vent accordingly New drops (ceiling air vents) for front part of house
