Please don?t waste your time contacting Central Ohio Plumbing Service (COPS). I ordered a gas stove from H. H. Gregg, only to learn I didn?t have a gas hookup. H. H. Gregg loaded my new stove back on their van. After learning that the cost of a gas hookup wasn?t too unreasonable to install, I contacted COPS. Todd with COPS said he would show up at my home between 11:30 and 1:30, so I contacted H. H. Gregg to see if they could bring the stove back, and they were very accommodating. Todd did come to my home ½ hour later than he proposed, but he called to letme know he was running late. However, when he arrived, he took no measurements and did no work. He gave me this story about someone writing him a bad check for $8,000, and having to repo their Hummer. He said he couldn't take anything but cash until he gets this issue resolved. We made arrangements for him to do the work the following day at 6:00 pm. Since his story sounded fishy, I called him during my lunch hour on the day he was supposed to do the work. He said he was on the phone with the sheriff, and would call me back. When he returned my call, he said he had to reschedule my appointment for the following day, because he was going to repo the Hummer at 6:30. I informed Todd that not only does his story sound fishy, but I like to eat healthy, and cannot be without a stove for an extended period of time. He assured me the work would be done the following day at 6:00 pm. I called him the next day (because I was losing trust) to be certain the work would get done, and once again he said he was talking with the sheriff, and would call me back. He never did. I kept trying to contact him, but every call was directed to his voice mail. This was on a Friday, when there was no chance of getting someone else to do the work over the weekend. I left him a message hours after he said he would return my call, and hours after he was supposed to be at my house to perform the work. He has not returned my call to provide an explanation or an apology. The web site states the following: -Fixed Right On Time, The First Time ( Not true) -Immediate Service ( Lip service) -Scheduled Appointments ( In another dimension maybe) -Clean Service Professionals ( ?Professional? is a self-imposed term that anyone can use. I?m a professional klutz, however, I?m really good at it. This guy is a professional liar and a letdown.) -Fast Service 24/7/365 ( Todd spent more time with the ?sheriff? than he did with my work request. If fast is six days without repairs, then they should restate this to read 0/1/365.) I have had a non-working stove for almost a week. This lack of professionalism has cost me dearly since I?ve had to order carry-out food for six days (not healthy). I've also had to contact another plumber to do the job. Maybe I should repossess his Hummer to help compensate for my time, frustration, and added food costs - to my health and wallet.
