+ -1 moreThis is the third time we have used Tony's services for both interior and exterior painting. He is very professional. He takes great care not to leave any evidence he was ever there - we've never found even 1 paint drip. About 3 years ago we contracted with him to paint our dining room, kitchen, hallway, and foyer. Absolutely beautiful job and it still looks brand new. My husband and I wouldn't think of using any other painting service for our home

Description of Work: I spoke with Tony on the phone and scheduled an estimate for 4-13-12 to have the exterior of my house painted. He did not show up. He did not call to cancel or reschedule. He did not return my phone call when I called to see if he was still coming to the scheduled appt. I think this is very poor professionalism, and speaks to the integrity of the business!

+ -1 moreHe was very friendly, very helpful, and very professional. He seemed to be very knowledgeable too. The quote was for $550. He was in competition with another provider, and the other provider had a better price. I would've given TLK Painting the job had the price been more competitive. That was pretty much it. There was about a $100 difference.

+ -1 moreHe did this very quickly and efficiently---it really looks great! We would contact Tony for any additional jobs, no question about it.
Description of Work: After being so pleased with the job Tony did on the exterior of our house, we asked him to fix the ceiling of our shower, which was peeling due to dampness. He suggested that he paint the entire bathroom ceiling after fixing that. He scraped off the old peeling material, primed that area with a water and mold resistent coating, then put on some thick plaster-like material. Then painted the entire ceiling. He did all of this over a 2 day period--only 1 day that we couldn't use the shower.

+ -1 moreWOW--we couldn't have been more pleased with Tony's work. As the previous reviewer said, our house looks like new. He is an artist with that sprayer. And attention to detail plus---the wall of the house exposed to the weather has always been a huge problem and he tried everything to get it just perfect--which it is now. Tony Knez is very earnest, honest, responsive and competent---we highly recommend him!
Description of Work: The price was actually $1850 for labor, $1000 for materials. Tony power washed first, then did TONS of scraping (this house has had chronic problems with old blistering paint--it wasn't in good shape) and lots of caulking. Then one coat of tinted primer (in some places several coats), then one coat of the main color, trim (fascia, shutters) and accent colors. He also painted the gutters, downspouts, all doors (aluminun and wood), all wood trim, fence, lamp post and mailbox--a lot of "extras." He also painted the concrete patio floor, after scraping it down. He also did some other extras, like re-attaching drooping gutters and cleaning them! He used a sprayer for most of the work, which really made everything look smooth and finished.

+ 1 moreIt went very well! He showed up to give an estimate. He had written proposal soon after which I signed and then was put on the schedule. He showed up when he said and worked fast.
Description of Work: He powerwashed and painted whole exterior of home. He was kind and very reasonably priced. He went above and beyond with details. He very neat. He cleaned up very well. My home looks brand new!
