RIDGID CONSTRUCTION

Overall the project went well, but new ridge vent was installed, and old vents were not removed. Old roof was removed, and new shingles installed. Cleanup was pretty good. Some loose shingles have been found around the house, but overall work was good.

The Ridgid field guy Bill got the ball rolling quickly and was very helpful. The adjuster allowed two sides. Ridgid agreed to do a full wrap using my deductible of $500. They installed Alcoa Vinyl siding and shutters. The workers had an amazing work ethic and the job was done to perfection. The manager Justin is very approachable and helpful. The work was promised to begin on a Saturday, but it wasn't until Monday when the crew arrived. They attacked the house and in one day had it completed; it looked amazing. They even installed new fixtures that I purchased. The shutters were on back-order for over four weeks, which was disappointing. Three days after completion, my house was vandalized with black spray paint. I contacted the manager Justin and no questions asked, replaced the 40' of damaged siding. We were blown away by their generosity. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The workers arrived approximately at 10:00 a.m. Did not seem they ever took a break. They were constantly working. There were 5 or 6 total. They finished approximately 4:30 p.m. This included cleanup. So far from what I can see they did a real good job. Have not noticed any leaks yet and we have had rain off and on since completion. Overall I am satisfied. One thing that may bother some is that the workers were Mexican. I don't know if they are legal are illegal. Rigid apparently have them on payroll. The foreman spoke pretty good English. You could converse with him at least. Again, from what I see they did a good job. The field manager Brian was easy to work with. He said they would start work in a particular week and they sure enough did. Brian forgot to call us the day the workers arrived, so that was a little surprise. Did not cause any hardship though. Just juggled cars around. He was in and out 3 or 4 times while the workers were here. He was also monitoring another job that day. I would have no problem working with Brian again.
