We paid them 300.00 more than they quoted for a replacement sliding door. They ordered the door to open the wrong way. They kept itrynjg to sell us the wrong one with pricing it at full price to put it in another location in our home but we did not. Now it’s three years later and the sluding glass door screen will not move at all. I have called three times and left numerous messages and their customer service is awful. They will not come out and repair the door or tell us how to fix the screen. I do not recommend this business and I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau .😡 They seem to only want to take $$ but not provide services for their products!!!!!

First of all, they hired unprofessional people to replace my roof. They broke my window and didnt say anything. I seen it from the street. They were like oh, we didnt see that. They never replaced it. Everytime i call , i get the runaround. Connect me to this guy and this guy and so on. Second, my spouting never leaked on top roof. 40 years and it was good condition. They do the roof and boom! Now i have downpours making holes in the ground. Yes....i called every week and month for 9 months . No response. No one comes to check. Water pours out over spouting. It has never done that until they put the roof on. Third, i have water coming in the ceiling that i never had before either. How is this possible with a new roof? They are the worst company ever. I never had problems with anyone elses work like i have with mvp. My neighbor had his roof done at same time by another company and he never had to call them back. I called every month with no response so i quit calling. I reported to BBB and still no response. I do not recommend hiring mvp. Very sloppy work and unproffesional work

It took 6 months, a BBB complaint, and my finally calling the manufacturer to have an undamaged window installed . They installed a damaged one in February and gave me the runaround , bringing more damaged windows, until July, when I filed my complaint with the BBB. They lied to the BBB and told them that they had been to my home in July. I called the manufacturer in August and had the window replaced in September. The owner of MVP told me that if I wrote a bad review of his company that he would not honor the warranty. I was insulted by them, lied to by them, and threatened, by the owner, with the loss of my written warranty. I deeply regret the day I purchased windows from them.

The "owner" Ed, of MVP just left my house with a rude and nasty disposition. When he explained that the quote for work he discussed with me was only good for today -- although I had clearly told his phone rep that I wouldn't be ready for the work until March -- he said "well, I'll just fire him when I get back to the office". Really? You're going to make me feel guilty for firing a guy? I will NEVER consider this company for work or recommend them to anyone. At one point he actually said "well, poor people think our services are too expensive".

I have placed calls to MVP on May 26, June18, July 24, and August 18, 2015. I had back surgery on 9/11, so things were on hold until now. I mean I couldn't do anything, and didn't want them here, because i could barely walk until now. 05/07/15 - Called MVP about 4 p.m. concerning the bay window, right side. They are to call me back on Monday 5/11/15, after 12 noon. 05/11/15 - I talked to Billie. She set up an appointment for 5/19/15 in the afternoon. 05/18/15 - Billie will call to verify appointment time in the afternoon on the 19th of May. 05/19/15 - MVP (Mark) was here in the afternoon to look at the window. Ed told him to waive the service call of $75.00 05/26/15 - Mark called me on my cell & left a message. I called him back. He said MVP is going to have a hard time getting the glass for my window. When I asked him if they can't get the glass, where do we go from here?, He said he didn't know. He's never ran into this problem before. 06/18/15 - Received a voicemail from Billie, that the parts aren't in yet. It's taking longer than expected to get them. 07/24/15 - I called & got Lucille, another receptionist. She'll give Mark a message and have him call me on Monday about the bay window replacement. 08/18/15- I called MVP again (getting tired of the run around here!!), and talked to Lucille again. She said she's going to find out what is going on by the end of the day. She said Ed, the owner, was due in any minute. She asked when we had the windows installed, because she doesn't see anything at all listed on her computer. (We had every window in our home replaced by MVP in 2004. 08/18/15 - Mark called Thermal Industries, who makes the bay window, and he said the guy retired there. They have no paperwork on our windows. (SEE NOTE FROM MY CALL TO THERMAL BELOW). 08/18/15- I called Thermal Industries, Inc., in Murrysville PA. myself. I talked to Jim there & he said if MVP took a picture of our window, they could see what the problem is. He said if they don't do anything for us, to call him back & he'll take care of us. He also said our install was in 2004. (HUMMMM???? AMAZING HOW MVP DOESN'T KNOW THIS DATE OF INSTALL!!!) 08/18/15- I immediately called MVP, burning mad!!! I left a message for someone to call me back immediately!!! Lucille did call me back and immediately put me through to Ed, the owner. He said he's going to make sure that the pictures are sent to Thermal, via Jim, and get this taken care of immediately. He sent Mark out to take the pictures on 8/18/15. ( NOW WHY WEREN'T PICTURES TAKEN WAY BACK ON MAY 19, 2015????) 10/21/15- I called Thermal Industries, and Jim is no longer with them. AS OF THIS DAY, I HAVEN'T HEARD A THING FROM MVP AT ALL. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE FURIOUS, BECAUSE IT'S GOING INTO WINTER, AND STILL NOTHING IS BEING DONE. IF WE WANT THERMAL TO SEND US THE BAY WINDOW REPLACEMENTS, THEY CAN ONLY SEND US THE GLASS PIECES ( 2 LITES OF GLASS WITH A SPACER IN BETWEEN) AT $536.00 FOR EACH WINDOW. BUT........WE WILL HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE TO POP OUT THE OLD BAY SIDES & RE-GLAZE THE WINDOWS. MY POINT OF ALL OF THIS IS........IF I CAN FIND OUT ALL OF THIS INFORMATION, WHY CAN'T MVP??? WHY AREN'T MY WINDOWS TAKEN CARE OF YET??? PLEASE...PLEASE....PLEASE.......do yourself a favor & never get involved with this company. The only way I know to fight back is by posting what happened to me. Don't waste your money & time messing with this company. I have had enough!! ED, if you read this......I'm not sorry!! I've had enough of the smooth talking BS from everyone there, except Lucille.
Description of Work: We have a problem, again, with a bay window that was installed in 2004 by MVP. The lead glass on the right side panel, inside, has mold growing in it. Now I have a problem with the left side panel. The lead glass, which is on the outside of the window, started to peel off. I have been calling MVP to get this taken care of since May 26, 2015. The details are below. As of October 21, 2015, still nothing has been done!! Very disappointed!!!!

Description of Work: Replaced 9 windows and front door. They measured to windows on 2 days to make sure they were right. Took the whole day but all the windows fit tight and work as intended. 100 percent cleanup done. Very professional and even accepted my dog walking around with them all day. I had no problems from sales to cleanup.

The screens are bowed and don't fit right. They left a mess after installation. They promised to fix screens -- never happened. The guys that installed were nice, professional and did a good job considering the weather conditions (except for picking up the mess). Owner was difficult to work with.

About a year ago I saw their display at a home and garden show. I liked the windows and filled out a card. The first couple of follow-up calls occurred during the semester when I didn't have the time, money or energy to have a quote done. I expressed that I had changed my mind and was no longer interested in getting a quote.... but the calls kept coming. Once every couple of months I would receive another extremely pushy follow-up call. Towards the end of the semester I finally caved and made an appointment for a quote -- which I had later cancelled. The day of the cancelled appointment I got a call about the representative running late. I had cancelled -- what's the point of sending out a representative? My husband fielded that fiasco and I thought it was over. It wasn't. I still got calls even after telling staff multiple times that I was no longer interested. It got to the point where I stopped answering the phone when they called and let it go to voicemail. Then the calls starting coming from a different number. The latest call was from a restricted number -- this time I did explicitly ask to be removed from their list. The reply: "With pleasure." If it's been that painful for both of us, why bother to continue to call? Also, they insisted on my husband being present for any potential quote discussions -- which is difficult because we're both students and he works full time while also serving in the Reserves. If I've purchased a home, turned on utilities, and filed taxes multiple years while my husband is away, why can't I obtain a quote for or purchase windows without him present? I don't care how cheap or nice the windows are -- dealing with a sales policy that seemingly requires harassment and sexism is more than enough for me to go elsewhere.

They did a good job. The person who works for them, his name is George, was very good and accommodating. Their price was fair. We thought their price was reasonable compared to other people. The thing is that he went out of his way to look for the magazines and talk to people to make our house look like it did before we did the siding and it doesn’t look like a box covered with plastic. He went to the trouble of finding out how to make it look like the colonial house that it is. We were very happy and so were the neighbors. We did talk to another couple who had their work done by MVP and was very pleased before we had this done. We saw different houses that he had done so we knew the possibilities. The siding itself other people can put up, but it is the way they did it and the way they added the little special features that made it look good. We did have one little problem. It was that the vents that we requested that they put in the socket blocked more of the air so our attic got too hot. We fixed that, but that was probably the main thing that happened from that siding and there wasn’t anything really wrong with the siding. It was the insulation and probably the vents that we had already were barely adequate and there were some other factors too. The owner was a little harder to get hold of. The person who actually did the work was always there and we had his phone number.
