Michael's Cabinet Designs Inc.

I am writing this review to caution consumers about Michaels Cabinets. I hired him to redesign and remodel my kitchen cabinets. First, his design software is archaic. He offers no 3D modeling. The big box stores offer much more in way of design. There were many mistakes in the designs and we caught most but not all of them. The quality of the cabinets is very good, but he does not manufacturer them. All items are shipped from a manufacturer and he has no inventory. Second, he does not install them; he hires a sub-contractor, and blames any issues on the sub. He consistently hounds you for money and it seems is running the business hand to mouth. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the design recommendations, and the overall lack of service. I have several outstanding issues and Michael has failed to acknowledge or address them.

Michael was great from day 1 throughout the entire process all the way through completion. He was responsive, professional but also very personable. All important to me. His work is top notch. After my cabinets have been refaced it looks like a brand new kitchen. I posted a few before and after pics on Michaels cabinet designs Facebook page. In the end I would say on a scale of 1-10 I would definitely give a 10 on overall satisfaction and would highly recommend Michael and feel comfortable attaching my name to him.

Everything went extremely well. I had a few different companies come give me an estimate and explain how the process would go and what would be entailed. From the first visit there was no doubt that Michael would be our guy. Very friendly and personable while at the same time being a true professional. He certainly knows his industry. He was very thorough with explaining how the process would go. Also he was the only company that provided actual 1/4" thick wood for the strips around the doors. I now really understand the importance of this. Michael was very transparent with pricing and helped answer all of our questions. He was great at responding in a timely manner if I had a question throughout the process. The time table expectations he initially set were right on par and the price was exactly what he quoted me. Now to the most important part...how did it turn out? Absolutely amazing! My wife and i.both said to.each other that not only were our expectations met but far surpassed. The quality of work and how the final result ended cannot be overemphasized on how pleased we are. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Michael for your Cabinet needs. If you are looking at jobs that are Cabinet related it would be in your best interest to contact Michael and have him stop by. You won't regret it. Very responsive to any request. His goal is a satisfied customer and he works to make that happen.

Beautiful job. Workers do the job and much more. This is the second kitchen Michael's has done for us and will do another if need be!

Michael is very friendly and easy to work with. He will listen to your ideas and give you his own. He is very honest and trustworthy. We felt completely comfortable working with him. Other contractors have the lines of cabinets that they deal with exclusively and, to get what we wanted, we would have had to keep upgrading. Michael has multiple lines and we were able to find exactly what we wanted, with good quality construction, and in the general price range we expected. We love our cabinets and were very satisfied with our experience.

It went rather well and moved along except for our mistakes in ordering some items we wanted on time which delayed the work. Michael's installer, Tom and his son did excellent work installing all cabinets and measurements were done correctly so that there was very little waste. Time was taken to properly level everything and we were consulted every step along the way to insure it was done exactly how we wanted it done. Michael and his assistant Jessica both did designs separately but coming up basically with the same idea. Their design was different and better than two other companies that we received estimates from. Their design idea was not something we had thought about and gave us more counter space than we had anticipated thus making our kitchen much more useful and enjoyable to us. We just love our new kitchen.

Smooth as silk.

Michael's work was top shelf. Everything went smoothly. He even added a door for an unused space and some beautiful knobs for the cabinets. I never had a problem with what he said he would do or when the job would be complete.

They were very good, and they did an excellent job.
