Chuck and his men waterproofed the walls and basement floors at the scheduled time; cleaned up each day; cemented the basement walls with a designer finish with excellent workmanship and were very professional. There have not been any water or moisture problems since their completion. Their price was lower than any other contractor, the men were polite and very trustworthy. I would highly recommend Best Waterproofing !

Best waterproofing also completed the job with a great looking design to the top course of each wall. Their price was very reasonable and included a warranty. The cost was well worth every cent paid.

 + -1 moreChuck and hs guys did a FANTASTIC job. His work truly speaks for itself. He does his work the RIGHT way and he stands by his word. I had approx 6-7 quotes and I felt most comfortable with Chuck. He did not force me to make a decision like some businesses do. He explained everything in detail. They were on time every morning and cleaned up after themselves everyday. Whole project took approx 10 days. I can not say one negative thing about Best Waterproofing. I have recommended Best Waterproofing to many family members and neighbors. Anyone who needs their basement waterproofed or is on the fence about getting work done. Do yourself a favor, Give Chuck at Best Waterproofing a call. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Description of Work: We looked at 5 different waterproofing companies, but until we met with Brian at Best Waterproofing, I was skeptical that I would find one I could trust. I trust Best Waterproofing. |We had Best Waterproofing work on our entire basement for waterproofing. They used an "inside the house" method and finished all of the walls in a plaster cement. We haven't had a lot of rain since they finished up, but I feel confident that my basement will be dry for as long as I live in this house. We are remodeling the basement now and everything will be brand new - that's how much I believe in the job that Best has done for us. |Brian and his crew did an outstanding job - they were on time, cleaned up after themselves every day (they even cleaned up some oil spots on my driveway from their truck), and made all of the walls look great when they were done! They were not the cheapest, but they also didn't complain at all when we asked them to do a few extra things that weren't on the original contract. They even hooked up a new hose from my air conditioning unit and made a new drain - the hose used to go outside - they did this on their own without me asking. They patched the old hole in the wall too. They also installed a new sump pump - we did not have one previously. I purchased a new double-tub and they installed that. |We had Brian come back out a week later to paint all the walls that they had plaster-cemented for us - which was an additional $1,100. Brian is very personable and a likable guy who prides himself on hard work and getting the job done right. You don't see many companies out there today that care about the quality of their work as Brian and the crew at Best Waterproofing did. |I highly recommend Best Waterproofing to anyone who needs waterproofing done in their basement.

And even offered several different solutions, didn't just push the most expensive like some other companies. They were friendly and hard workin. Very happy with the work they did. Basement is dry and no longer smells or feels damp.

Description of Work: Removed mold, completely sealed outside walls, dug trench around outside walls, installed piping to the sump pump they installed to take water away from basement.  + -1 moreWhen asked for a written estimate he tells me he will only do that if I agree to the contract. When pressed to have this off the cuff estimate in writing he takes a business card out and writes a $ amount down and nothing else! Don't bother with this guy or his company.
Description of Work: Guy showed up and had a matter of fact take it or leave it attitude. When asked questions he got defensive. Was not the kind of person you wanted to let in your house. The method he uses by drilling holes all the way up your walls and then put plastic over them weakens the walls and leave mold, mildew smell possibilities wide open.

 + 0 moreI am totally satisfied with their work. Brian and Chuck the co-owners were there each day and supervised a crew of 3 to 4 workers. They showed up on time and cleaned up before they left each day. I was told it would take 6 days to complete and they were finished in 5 1/2 days. The cost we paid was the same as the estimate. As a bonus they re-rigged water pipes and a couple of electric lines - we paid for the materials only. I would highly recommend them. One caution - be sure to cover your belongings, because a lot of dust is created when they dig up the trench.
Description of Work: Dug trench on perimeter of inside basement. Laid pipe and gravel - dug new sump pump hole. Then they covered all walls with plastic and mesh over which they cemented from floor to ceiling. They then cemented over the trench.

 + -1 moreOutstanding workers! Prompt, courteous, and pleasant. They did beautiful work, and yesterday and today there have been flood warnings; and a lot of rain in addition to a lot of melted snow. Yet our basement is dry, a welcome change of pace! They cleaned up every day. Our basement looks great. I would recommend them to anyone requiring a dry basement.

 + -1 moreAfter a major water problem in our basement/family room, we chose Best Waterproofing to install a sump pump and waterproof interior walls. They were wonderful! The quote they gave us was less than the cost of the just the sump pump alone from other estimates we'd received. Besides being able to control the water coming into our basement, one of my main concerns was the damage to the walls. Chuck, the company's owner, was the only contractor that gave us a solution as to how to repair them. The entire process took a little over a week. During that time, Chuck, his brother, Brian and their crew were on-time, totally professional and very pleasant to deal with. Not only did they do the work we had contracted for, they also repaired a pipe that had been leaking under my basement floor, and they made sure that all my drains and sewer lines were cleared and running well. That alone has made a major difference in our basement. I was amazed and completely impressed at how well they cleaned up when the job was complete. I couldn't be more pleased with their work and I would highly recommend them and their service to anyone in need of waterproofing.
Description of Work: We had trenching, a sump pump installed and some interior walls waterproofed to prevent further damage from mold.

 + 1 moreThis company was excellent to deal with. It is a family run business headed by brothers Brian and Chuck with a group of young conscientious employees. Brian initially gave us an estimate, which was right on. He kept in contact with us on a regular basis until we could schedule an appointment. They started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. You couldn't really find a nicer group of guys. Brian even went out of his way to help me move some tile that another business had arrogantly left in an area where I specified for them not to put it. They installed new conduit and cleaned up all the mess. Excellent!
Description of Work: Waterproofed 70 feet of interior basement wall. Added new PVC drainpipe, covered existing wall with plastic sheeting, wire mesh and coated with a cement finish.
