Austintown Fence

I contracted a one-way truck rental and the drop off point was Austintown Fence. The company was very inflexible and I felt I received extremely poor customer service upon the return of the vehicle. I returned the truck on full but they wanted the needle on the gas gauge to read exactly on or past the full mark. My husband had already filled the tank one mile up the street until the gas clicked off and then added more fuel, until it clicked off again. I asked the agent how much more fuel he thought it would take to fill the tank and he said it hard to say probably a couple of gallons. I agreed to pay that, but he wasn't really interested in that solution. He said he doesn't have time to send someone, and it was obvious that he wasn't going to close the sale until I took care of it because he left me standing around without any conversation while he talked with other customers. After a long wait, he asked me what I was going to do. I explained that I wasn't added as a driver and requested that he add me, but he said I could just drive. He was very difficult to work with and it resulted in me driving the truck to the gas station. The gas pump kept clicking off, but I forced a little over a gallon into the tank to satisfy him so I could get everything taken care of and return to work. I can't remember the last time I ever received such poor customer service! I can guarantee that they have lost my business forever!

I called to get an estimate and they wanted to come out earlier than I was able to get home. I asked if they could come out at a different time and was told no they stop giving estimates at a given time. I told the guy that I would have to shop elsewhere and he seemed fine with that. Lost my business now and in the future! Horrible customer service!
