Rick came and gave us our quotation. He was very professional and I thought the quote was fair for the work he proposed. They came out on time to do the work, which took about 2 1/2 days to complete. The workers were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and took pride in their work. I will definitely use Aey Electric again for any future needs!

This was a two day job. The first day the new 100 amp service was installed ($980.00.) The worker was prompt, courteous, & professional, & completed the work in a timely fashion. The same worker returned the next day to complete miscellaneous work.

Like clock work. The attic fan motor was shot. We had to order a new one, and found it at the manufacturer's sight. The electric company didn't think of calling the manufacturer, but I did, and was able to locate the motor. Purchased directly from the manufacturer, shipped to my house and saved probably some headaches and leg work. I was surprised they didn't think of that. The electrician came back about a week later to replace the fan motor and reset the thermostat. I was very pleased with that. Very professional.

From the people answering the phone to the electrician, they were all friendly and professional. I called in the morning and was given the choice of setting up an appointment the following week or going on the on call list. I chose the on call list and they came the same day. I would definitely use Aey electric again and would recommend them to anyone.

Fusing issues in our house, the electricians arrive as promised, they were knowledgable, very conscious and resolved a confusing electrical issue in a timely manner.

We called Aey Electric when another provider told us our job was too small for them to bother with (see review Lyons Electric). We were pleased when they told us that they would have a technician to our home the next morning. As promised, the nice young man was at my door 8am the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised when 45 minutes later he said he was all done! He explained the work he did in the attic and answered my questions. The price was reasonable for the scope of work done. I'm so glad Aey Electric didn't think my job was and quot;too smalland quot; as I have a larger project in the future. I'll definitely be calling them back.

Work was scheduled on a rainy day but the serviceman arrived within twenty minutes of the estimated time and worked for almost seven hours by himself. He acted in a professional manner and got everything done in one day even though the job was estimated for a day and a half. Rick Aey, the owner, came to my house the day after I called the office and gave me a written estimate that detailed everything he proposed to do. He also took me around to show me what they would do. The cost was exactly as estimated. I have used Aey Electric for a couple of rewiring jobs before and I have always been pleased with their work. Very reliable and punctual.

A young man arrived on time and was pleasant and courteous. He checked my mercury light which hadn't worked for several months. After I remembered Angies List I searched for an electrician which was Aey Electric, then I called and they said they would notify me when they get the bucket truck out. The large amount of snow prevented them from coming sooner. I was please to have this done because I didn't know where to go for service. Everything went very well and quickly.

I have several projects Aey Electric is working on at my house. He was correct. I love them. They are functional and have added value to my house. But, I thought the job was a little pricing. Had I known what I wanted I would have told Aey what to purchase and had the job priced using "time and materials" method. It will save money if you do some leg work on your own. Aey Electric even suggested performing the other jobs quoted based on "time and materials." I appreciate that suggestion coming directly from them. I have used Aey Electric in the past for another house I owned. Their work is quality and they stand behind it. I do recommend Aey Electric and will continue to utilize them.

It went well, I had it prepared when they arrived and it was installed in 1/2 hour. The two techs, Stan and Stan were courteous and professional. They did a good job.

Over the past few months, we've had Aey provide various electrical services and installations at our commercial property. The estimator, Josh Leas, is very responsive. Their pricing is very reasonable for commercial services, and their work is done well.

What a great experience! I was under the gun to get some work done quickly and they came through. I needed a new 225 outlets installed for my dryer and the repair professional was able to accomplish the job quick and without any additional fluff. When he was done I told him of an idea I had of installing a 110 outlet up on a ledge in my foyer and in a matter of a few minutes he had a vision and followed through. At the end of the day, my wife and I could not be happier.

The provider was on time 9/04/13 and he installed both ceilings fans in a timely manner,but that night it was making a noise so I called them on 9/05/13 at 9 am they did't send anyone out until 9/11/13. Then they did't send the same person who installed them,so he had no idea how to take it apart to stop the wobble or noise.i tried to tell him what the trouble shooting guide said how to fix the problem.but he could't take it apart. After waiting 5 business days for them to show ,I gave up on them fixing the problem. Ray Clark

Rick Lyons came out and gave me an excellent estimate for the work. I provided the new panel and circuit breakers. On the day of the job, Andrew came out and did an excellent job and was very careful and made the process very easy. The complete upgrade of the panel and a whole house surge protector only took a day. Andrew was prompt and arrived right on time at 830 am and was completely finished and even cleaned up afterwards and was done by 430 PM. I would recommend this company to anyone that may need electrical service such as panel upgrades. They did an excellent job and I am very happy with the results. Now, if Ohio Edison comes to complete the inspection, I can continue with the next phase of a sub panel in my garage, and AEY Electric will be the company I call!!

Rick Lyons came out on time looked at the panel and gave an excellent estimate using the panel I purchased at Home Depot. The day the upgrade was to take place, Andrew the electrician came to the house at exactly the appointment time at 830 AM, completed the upgrade by 4:00 PM and even took the time to clean up in the basement. Being an amateur electrician myself, I can say that Andrew's work is exemplary, and the wiring he did in the panel is nice and neat compared to the old panel. His work will make it easy for me to add any additional breakers I may need in the future. AEY Electric was outstanding in every detail from the estimate, to responsiveness, and the actual work itself. I would highly recommend AEY Electric to anyone in the Youngstown area that might need quality electrical work!!

the installation went smoothly.....an all day job.....installer was extremely particular (a very good thing), very professional, very knowledgeable and very neat. Clean-up was perfect. This company I would recommend to everyone....they are first rate!

Aey Electric did a great job, fast, and for a great price. I was expecting to pay much more and my jaw dropped a bit when they gave me the invoice as it was much lower than I expected. Once again Angie's List has pulled through! I highly recommend Aey Electric and now I am trying to think of all the other work they can do for us :) It is so hard to find good service but AEY proved it is still out there.

Excellent work was performed.

The electrician (Carl) who came to do the work was on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. While dealing with the numerous electrical issues he ran into situations that couldn’t be done exactly as written up in the estimate, but he found a way to accomplish the tasks when that happened. He also gave me some very useful advice on dealing with other issues on the house. The job took a little over 3 days and we were very happy with the entire experience.

Last fall, I was redoing my kitchen, getting my cabinets refaced. I wanted the new LED strip lighting installed. I was getting no positive responses from any companies I spoke with. Aey Electric came out and told me they have never done this, but would try, and I would be their first customer. They were here for a week doing the job. The work they did was amazing! They were able to install the strip lighting in a way that I see no wiring, just light. They always have a live person that answers the phone, not an answering machine, and they always call you back. This fall, I had them come back to install flourescant lighting in my workshop. When the electrician came out, he offered to install a circuit wherever I needed them, and even installed Decora switches throughout the house everywhere. They give you what you want, and if they can't do it, they explain why. They are incredibly honest, helpful, and professional. They did not even ask for any money down. They are very creative, they give possibilities and options. They did everything for us, I couldn't be more pleased!

The service was great. They gave me the quote in December. The renters weren't home when they said they would so the work was pushed back over a month later. However, they were flexible and stuck with their original quote. They were very professional. They gave me advice on what they would recommend in terms of the placement of the lights. Overall, it was an easy job. It took all day. Even though it was freezing outside, they completed the job with no problems.
