Two men arrived at time they were expected. Each man removed one toilet in two bathrooms and placed old ones at curbside for trash pick up. They were neat and left no debris. They and their truck were clean and professional. They were polite and thanked me for using them.

McLean Plumbing came out and determined what would be needed to replace the valve. Greg then went to a local Home Depot to get the parts necessary to do the work. After shutting off the water at the meter, he removed the malfunctioning valve and installed the new one. Looking at the malfunctioning valve, he figured out why the water was not completely stopping. The outside stopper for the lever was preventing the valve from closing all the way. He then turned on the water, tested the new valve, and cleaned up the area.

The current water heater was leaking, so I needed an immediate response. I received several estimates, McLean Plumbing was one of the least expensivie. Mr. McLean took the time to explain to me that a 30 gal water heater is more expensive than a 40 gallon, but might be required due to space issues. He was prompt, did the work as promised. I was very pleased with his work and his extra attention to detail.

After noticing unusually high water usage on my bill, I asked McLean Plumbing to check for underground leaks. He arrived on schedule and soon located two problems, providing creative solutions to each one of them to minimize the cost.

Went great! I called and got his voice mail but got a return call the same day. He let me know a specific date and time range and called ahead of time as he said he would. Quality of the work was great!

He was able to work me into the end of the day and was able to explain what was happening. Charged me less than his hourly rate since it was a quick solution.

Well. Arrangements were made by phone and work was done promptly and professionally.

It went very well. Everything was done. He needed to arrange for a water softener to be delivered from a long distance. He know who to call that could get the unit we needed.

He called me back right away, but unfortunately did not work on main line clean outs due to tree roots.

Greg was fantastic. Took my call on the 2nd ring and answered my concerns in record time about a malfunctioning water heater. An hour and some good conversation later, my fears of a full day and 4 digits worth of expense were mitigated to an overblown worst case scenario. Greg has earned a long term customer with his honesty and personality. DO NOT HESITATE to give him a call. Exceptional service like this is too hard to find these days. It's a good sign when you stand around at the truck making a friend telling stories after the repair visit has ended. And knowing he'll check up and read this as a concerned small business operator, all I have to say is I hope the wedding went well and thanks again for your help.

I called him on Tuesday, 2 days ago, and between our two schedules, we picked a time! He was prompt and comes with a LARGE truck, which says to me, he can deal with most things. He came under the understanding, that it might be just a FREE estimate, or he could do the work. He assessed the situation, and checked his truck for a special part he needed, which luckily was there! He worked quickly, replaced the affected pieces, and was done. He cleaned up the work area, and you could not tell he was there! In addition, he was able to give a couple other estimates of work that I asked him to quote. He does not push extra work, and there was no attempt to 'upsell' me. He did exactly what was needed! McCleans Plumbing was the best choice for this job.. Greg McLean was very honest, on time and provided excellect service. We discussed what needed to be done by putting in new plumbing in an old bathroom, fixing the water heater and putting in new wall board. Greg is very knowledgeable and offered advise as to how to move forward with the work. He provide great service on time and on budget. I would hire him again for another job.

McLean Plumbing was one of three plumbing companies that I called for a quote. They took my call and scheduled an appointment right away even though they were farther away than the others. In fact, they ended up finishing the job before one of the others even called back. Mr. McLean arrived on schedule with a young man who I presumed to be his son. I was impressed that was mentoring the youth by bringing him along on actual calls. I had no hesitation about letting them in and leading them to the water heater in the basement. At that point however, I had to leave and my husband came home to meet them at the house. Later that evening he shared with me that the gentlemen had quite a bit of difficulty removing our old heater (it was a huge 75 gal tank) and had to call on someone for additional assistance. However, they did persevere and get the job done within a reasonable amount of time and replaced it with a new 50 gallon tank. We decided on the smaller tank as it would be less expensive to purchase and heat than the former model and because we don't have as many people living in our home as we once did. The final cost of approx $1500 was more than we were hoping to spend, but we were pleased that he stuck with his original estimate even though he had to do more work than he had planned. Also, They cleaned up after themselves and left no trace of having been there, which is rare!

Greg was great! He fixed the toilet and answered other plumbing questions I had as well, such as where is my main water line and how do I deal with a stinky disposal. He answered everything, was very patient, and explained everything so I could understand! I will definitely use Greg again when I need to and I would recommend him to friends and family!

Greg ("Sweet Tea") McLean kept a good communications flow prior to arrival and arrived as scheduled. Work was performed in a very professional manner and the back-and-forth "banter" was enjoyable. His prices were competitive. I will definitely use Greg for future work.

Greg looked at our water heater and explained what was going on. Even though it wasn't a model he was familiar with and I couldn't find the manuals, he was able to call the company's tech support line and get some ideas on what to do. He cleaned the sensor and the water heater began working again. He was there under an hour. I was very pleased with his overall manner and the price. (another company which I won't mention would have charge more just to show up). We will definitely use Greg in the future.

Greg arrived on schedule and was very professional and friendly. He replaced the valves and put everything back in order. The job was done in under an hour. We would definitely recommend Greg and if we ever have any other plumbing issue will call Mclean Plumbing again!

I couldn't be happier with the work that Greg & Randy did. This project took almost an entire month between the demo, the electricians & all the work Greg & Randy did. It's exactly what we wanted!!

I contacted McLean Plumbing through Angie's List. I wanted an outside water faucet replaced that was leaking. They were on time and professional. They told me what would need to be done to do the job correctly. The job was way more involved than I expected because of where the water was being fed to the outside. Inside the house a closet frame had to be taken apart just to get to the existing pipes. They did a great job at carefully taking everything apart and putting everything back together as it was. I am confident that the job was done correctly and that I won't have any problems with that outdoor faucet. I also asked for an estimate for some other major pluming work that I would like to have done. Greg is a wealth of information on different ways to accomplish the work I would like to have done. I really appreciate the time that he spent discussing those options.

Greg McLean showed up promptly to give us an estimate for the job. Out of three estimates, his was the only one to incorporate the use of newer technology flexible coated steel pipe to simplify the problems of running a gas line in rafters and down into interior walls. His bid wasn't inexpensive, but it was reasonable for the work to be performed. He showed up on the appointed day and began the job, first installing rigid steel pipe outside the house, and then converting to the flexible pipe to run in the porch roof rafters, into the house attic, and then down into an interior kitchen wall. After connecting all the pipes, he purged air from all the lines, ran leak tests, installed the new gas stove, and then tested the stove to make sure all was working properly. The total job took two days to complete. His team was careful with the existing planting outside the house, and kept the inside work neat to avoid mess in the kitchen. When done, all outside and inside material and scraps were cleaned up, and the job site was left in excellent condition. He and his team were careful professionals, who did a good job for a fair price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who would need similar services.
